You think a vet would be capable of working with dogs with anxiety. We had been working with Dr. Thomas for years on getting a good anxiety med/dosage for one-off situations (ex fireworks or vet visits). She was always reluctant and judgmental for us wanting to use a medication. She said we needed to put him through more training. After a few years of dealing with her judgement, we decided to switch to the other vet in the office. He was pleasant during our annual exam. He said he didn't know why Dr. Thomas gave our dog such a low dosage. He normally starts dogs off at double what he was currently prescribed. We've only had to use the anxiety meds once since his annual exam, but they seem to do much better this time. So things were looking ok. We were happy with the new vet enough to stay with Nisqually. That was until we got an email saying that they didn't do one of his vaccines during his annual exam. We would now need to come in again to have that redone. Mind you, our dog doesn't do well going to the vet. We were also going to have to pay another office visit fee, for their mistake. We would have to pay for more gas, for their mistake. We would have to pay to use some of our dogs anxiety meds, for their mistake. We're done with them. We've gone to Pinehurst Vet in Lacey for their ER services and were very happy with our experience there. We already have an appointment with them to get my dogs missed vaccine taken care of.

They say they eed the dogs at 7 , when i picked up my dog they told me he already had dinner and i was there at 3 ? I was told i could drop him off at 7 and no one was there so idk how they feed the dogs at 7 , it probably more like 8am and 2pm feeding schedule idk olay whatever, so they go to get my dog so we could go home and he is soaking wet , yeah it was raining i get it but did he have somewhere to get out the rain , I've known my dog for 9 years and he wont go off the porch if its raining lol so there is that , and with the daily reports they say he was friendly and wanted loves and cuddles and petting lmao . For 9 years he dont ever want cuddles or pets , hes a fetch driven dog 24hr a day i highly doubt, he wanna love and cuddles and pets. It was horrendous coughing and coughing up phleg. I had to take them both to an emergency vet clinic because my regular vet had no openings. Yes, they had Kennel cough and they needed two prescriptions each. This vet visit was more than the dogs visit at the kennel. I called the kennel and reported my dogs were sick, and in a voice that didn't sound to sorry, told me we're sorry and no other dogs have been sick. My dogs are in a fenced acre yard and were near no other dogs. This kennel has lost my business.

I was on the wait list for about 5 months to get a mini aussiedoodle. Oakley has been home for a…read moremonth now and he is amazing! His parents are Rip and Zoola. I did not get the chance to meet his dad, but Zoola was such a calm dog. I can see where Oakley gets his great temperament from. He does not bark at anything really, and is pretty easy to train. The breeders worked on potty training (on wood pellets) before he came home, which was so helpful. Oakley naturally wanted to go potty outside, or on the bark potty pad I got for him. He is a healthy dog. Came with his first set of vaccinations, deworming and flea treatment, as well as being microchipped. I also received many puppy pictures throughout his first 8 weeks before he was old enough to come home. Would definitely recommend puppies from BCCR!
