Luggage rescued by Joe at The Mail Center of Ft. Lauderdale…read more During a recent trip, I left a carry on bag at a Ft. Lauderdale hotel. The staff at the hotel were very unaccommodating and wouldn't consider shipping the bag to my home (of course, I was willing to pay for the shipping and their time and trouble). When I contacted Joe at The Mail Center, he graciously agreed to go to the hotel, pick up the bag and ship it back to me and it was received in two days. In this era of what seems to be an atmosphere of ever decreasing customer service, Joe went above and beyond. Thank you, Joe!

At first I was resistant going to this location but five years later I'm still coming here. I've had different services with them over the years and I've become fond of their virtual mailbox system. I haven't been able to find it anywhere else and really don't want to. I like that I can see what I've got in the mail, I can have them open and scan it or dispose of it. If it's something I need I can have it forward it. I would say there are top-tier and one of the best mail services in the area. I find them a lot more affordable than using the US post office for a PO Box. I think their price is much better and as far as shipping well let's be honest, shipping is shipping and they're not making a fortune off of you. I consider them family and can't imagine going anywhere else.

I was a little early to my appointment and the man working was able to get me checked in, photographed and sent me on my way in less then ten minutes! He was very friendly with getting my information as well as checking all my forms of ID to make sure I was really me. The store itself was very organized and one thing that I love was they had a few items in the window out front that are for anyone that may need something if they are in desperate times. There was a couple toys as well as snacks. The location also had a tub with change in it and a note that mentioned how they donate what they can each week to buy food/items for those in need. This place made me want to go out of my way to drop off any packages I need sent out or have anything notarized because they also offer that service here.
