This place is way better and way more convenient than the post office. I would rather come here 10 out of 10 times if I had the choice. The Customerservice is always nice and they are quit. I can't tell you how much I love this place! They used to have a location on Hillsboro and that's where I originally started with Giuseppe and Julia. But they closed that location. At first I was resistant going to this location but five years later I'm still coming here. I've had different services with them over the years and I've become fond of their virtual mailbox system. I haven't been able to find it anywhere else and really don't want to. I like that I can see what I've got in the mail, I can have them open and scan it or dispose of it. If it's something I need I can have it forward it. I would say there are top-tier and one of the best mail services in the area. I find them a lot more affordable than using the US post office for a PO Box. I think their price is much better and as far as shipping well let's be honest, shipping is shipping and they're not making a fortune off of you. Yes, they now offer #Fingerprinting in a fast & convenient setting. Having them receive packages really eliminates worrying about "package phishers," who steal your pkgs from your front door while you're not home. They do carry some phone chargers & several things you may have left @home but need now. They also pack& ship your furniture, I recommend looking @ their website for what you may need. I recently had to move some assorted household furnishings from Boca Raton to Philadelphia. This included several paintings, some fragile glass items,books, and two large suitcases full of clothing. I used this place to ship a birthday gift to my sister. The man behind the counter was not very helpful and, in fact, seemed bothered when I asked where to find the padded envelopes. I wrapped the gift in the envelope, addressed it and took it to the counter. He charged me for the envelope and the shipping. I left and didn't think much about the experience. But, a few days later when I talked to my sister, she said the post office left a note on her door that she needed to come pick up her package and pay for the shortage in postage. Not the way I wanted my sister to receive her birthday gift. She shouldn't have had to pay to pick it up at the post office. It was apparent to me that the guy at this place didn't charge the correct amount for the postage. Since then I haven't gone back. I ship UPS, FedEx or simply go to the post office. Even though I moved ten minutes away I still come here for my mail and shipping needs! They are pleasant to deal with and will pack up your stuff for you and do an excellent job! I had to mail an expensive heavy vase and was panicking, but they took care packing it and it arrived perfectly!!! I had a letter that I needed to send and opted for USPS and they held it for a week before handing it over. I understand there is delivery time of processing but if you hold it for a week before handing over to USPS, that is just is just bad service and utter failure on their part! All sorts of problems arose after my elderly parent's death. Rene and Guiseppe took care of one of them with great skill and no fuss. The problem: how to get some valued art, mid-century modern furniture and several brimming cardboard boxes from Boca to Los Angles without overpaying and without having to do things I'm not good at, like wrapping and shlepping. I had to ship something and the store had this young girl who did not know what she was doing. And was not helpful at all, because of that reason I may never return to this Pakmail. wasted my time and very inconvenient. I had to come back twice for a shipping label apparently it wasn't right yet they didn't do anything to help me! That girl was very rude and insolent. First time this store had ever done me wrong, but I will never come back unless it's an emergency where no other packaging store is available. read more

I purchased a small but pricey item from a government agency in Ft Lauderdale. The agency sent along a list of shippers that might pick up and mail the item for me. The major one on the list informed that they don't pick up and they certainly don't wrap. No 2 on the list was Pak Mail. I emailed and asked if they could pick up, wrap and ship these items to California. The owner responded that yes they do it all. I called Guiseppe and gave him the particulars. He dispatched someone the next day to pick up the items. Then he wrapped and sent me a pic to show the care taken in ensuring the electronics were safe. The parcel was shipped Fedex Ground. It arrived in 4 business days. The wrapping was amazing-it would have survived a train wreck!! The items were in perfect condition and well worth the more-than-reasonable cost!!! This place is a treasure. I would buy something from Ft Lauderdale again just to do business with this company!! * one more star because 5 just doesn't cut it!!
