First time at this Lauderhill UPS Store where the parking lot was packed and a long customer line inside. While waiting about ten minutes (which is normal during Christmas time) viewed the oversized room that included private customer mailboxes, packaging items, computer station and a packing supply and office store. AVOID THIS STORE!!!! 7/20/26 Two shipping boxes were purchased and the contents were given to a male clerk to pack the box and ship boxes to Maryland and Texas. Boxes were insured and sent by UPS Ground service. The employee mixed up the labels and sent the wrong items to the wrong persons, which also contained items that were not given to him! So he screwed up another customers shipment as well! When the Owner of the store was contacted; she would only offer to give me two labels for the recipients to print out the labels, then drive to their local UPS stores and send the boxes to one another! We had hoped that she would refund the shipping fees for the delayed arrivals; however she was unwilling to do so. My advice: STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Other UPS stores have stated that they would have refunded the shipping fees, in addition to giving us new labels, since it was their fault for the shipping errors. These were packages that the contents were dropped off to them and labeled who should get what items; so this is completely their fault. read more

Typically a pretty good experience. Always an in and out service. I normally go in here to return things from Amazon and Shein. There is a time when Amazon reported that they never received my package. I couldnt find my UPS package slip/receipt so I didnt make a big deal about it. But that's why I gave the 4 instead of 5. Five stars!! This place came in CLUTCH and Mr. D'Angelo was a life saver. I experienced the best customer service I'd ever recieved at ANY UPS store. I needed to exchange something that absolutely positively HAD to leave today. I actually went to a different store on Powerline Rd that closed earlier than advertised and decided to drift to this location as a last ditch effort. Not only is this store incredibly situated, but the service requested and rendered was beyond anything I'd expected. The prices are awesome and make shipping care packages to family for the holidays or someone deployed a no-brainer. Horrible customer service, rude, obnoxious, unfriendly and the list continues. I used this location several times, but no more. The bald guy, (manager/owner) is the worst. Terrible attitude each time I've visited. On my recent visit, I asked him to put 1 strip of tape on a package as it wasn't fully secure. He refused. Listen, he's not doing you a favor to treat you politely and do his job. Find another location down the street. I definitely will not be going back. I love this UPS store. It is conveniently located next to the Oriental Market and Paris Bakery on University. I've been coming to this UPS store for the past year and have always had a great experience. The store has everything you need for packaging and shipping including bubble wrap, paper, envelopes and stationary supplies. The staff is always very nice and friendly. They make sure that you understand all of the shipping rates and the estimated time it will take for your package to get where you need it to go. I also like that the store itself is not very big which means they it is not crowded when you get there. If I could give this location ZERO stars I would. I entered the store to ship out 3 boxes. As I approached the counter to put my packages on the scale...the clerk told me that he would not be able to take my packages because the label was too light. I have been a logistics manager & I have used UPS as a carrier for over 20 years. I told him that I could read the label to him. He told me that he could listen to me read the label because the UPS driver could only scan the label. I know this isn't true because I have seen my driver type in the label many times even though it is a nuisance. Furthermore, I asked him to scan the package & guess what? My pancakes scanned. I then asked for his name & asked if he was the manager. He told me that he was. I asked for the owner's information & he refused. He then told me that he did not have to do anything because he had a bad day. I then asked him for my packages back so I could take them to a more friendly location that valued my business. He told me that I needed to go around the building & get them from. The driver who was loading his pickups for the day. My packages were still sitting on the side. He was angry & I told him that I did not like being treated like this. I asked if it was because I was black. He said, "oh you don't want to play the race card." He then said he was going to call the police. I am a black man! I asked his associate who was working for his name & she refused to tell me his name & her name. He called the police. I called the police as well because I wanted my packages back. There have been numerous complaints for this location & this owner & his behavior towards people of color l, specifically black people! He told me that he did not care if I called corporate. Is this how UPS wants to represented in a community that is majority black & brown folks?!? read more

The reviews that mention the "questionable" treatment of customers of a certain race are spot on about this place. I arrived at this location at 7:17 PM on 5/11/22. Before I could even make it to the counter, I was met by a short, bald gentleman (assuming this is Robert or Pat based on the bad reviews this location has been slowly accumulating) who promptly put his hand up as if he were a kindergarten teacher and shooed me out. He then told me that he can't take my "large number of returns because they close in 5 minutes". When I inquired about them closing at 7:30 PM, he said they "leave at 7:30 PM but they stop serving customers at 7:20 PM." I later discovered that was a just a terrible lie to refuse serving me. I left the premises and sat in my car and observed eight other customers enter and get served until 7:28 PM. One customer entered with 6 packages, which was one more than my number of returns. All I had were large items and yet I was refused service. I find it absolutely hideous that in this day and age, a business like this can flat out choose who it will serve based on appearance or race. read more

WORSE UPS STORE EVER. 'Thought' I had completed all shipping info online and I paid online as well. Walked in with package; didn't have printer at home to print label. Guy tells me, 'you should have just come in here, our prices are cheaper than online.' Right. Well, he could not pull up my order using the Tracking Code. Said I had to have the 'bar code'. So, I just said, can you ship this now and I'll just pay again. He drops a pen and piece of paper on my box and says to write out the address. I ask him, 'Can I get the ONE PRICE SHIPPING FOR UNDER 50 POUNDS that I was getting online?' He says they don't have such a thing. Wait...what you REALLY mean is that YOU can't make as much money using that promo cause you are a franchise and need to RIP CUSTOMERS OFF AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. I was served today by Robert, the store manager. Robert was extremely kind, patient, and efficient. He patiently answered all my questions, and made no effort to upsell me; he actually pointed out that I would get my documents nearly as fast as more expensive options with ground shipping. He was very courteous and fast! This whole interaction took about five minutes and I managed to send out documents at an extremely reasonable rate and without the long Post Office lines thanks to his quick, friendly, and extremely competent service. Be sure that they put your Amazon return in the UPS system. On Monday morning, I gave the man with a mustache and glasses a package to return to Amazon. On Tuesday morning, I checked to see if it was in the UPS system, as I always do. It was not. I went to the UPS store and spoke to the same man. He told me, "The Amazon number has no meaning because the shipping is consolidated." For him it is my problem, even after I showed him the "Drop-Off Package Receipt" he gave me the day before. So, my package is somewhere in their store. No one is going to try to find it and correct the problem. I'm out money because the package will never reach Amazon. read more

The guy that works here kept going on about how he was a driver for UPS. Me and my wife just needed to ship a package with high priority and had a lot to do because we were moving out of state and was behind schedule. The staff here are horrible and make unprofessional unnecessary comments to customers. It's not always what you say, but how you say it. I should have initially left when not even 5 seconds of being in the store, the male staffer made comments to my children when they were simply looking at items in the store. The female staffer later asked my children to not touch the greeting cards. AGAIN, they were simply looking at them. Never were my children running around or not using their inside voices. I had a package I thought was for UPS, rather it was for USPS and the owner, Pat regrettably had to decline receiving the package. However, he didn't just reject it and move on - instead he helped me close up the package and affix the proper label to the package before he sent me on my way off to USPS. This UPS store was paid $38.00 to pack and ship gold wedding ring to UPS in Connecticut. UPS STOLE THE RING FROM THE PACKAGE and replaced it with a little piece of tin that they shaped into a ring. The store and UPS in general could have cared less. "They don't own the UPS stores -- not their problem". Just my opinion, but I would say that UPS is no longer a viable service for shipping anything of value. read more

Very disappointing. I went to get a few things taken care of at this store. As I was there a customer came in to complain about an issue they had with one of the employees. Apparently they had called about their issue and the employee hung up on them. So the customer came up to complain in person. Mind you I'm in the store to do my transactions and there are other customers present as well. The customer asks for the manager which happened to be who was working with me at the time and explained to him the situation. The employee who had hung up on the lady and the customer began to discuss the issue and became very loud in the store. I thought as a customer sitting there and observing this that this issue could have been resolved in a different manner and it was very rude of the employee to raise their voice at the customer. This could have been deescalated. Even if the customer is upset that is no way to speak back to a customer with other people present in the store. It was very poor customer service and I felt uncomfortable in this situation. Not mention that I couldn't do my computer needs because their wifi was down and I had a QR code for my packages and couldn't mail those because they didn't have a way to scan them to get my labels. It ended up be a waste of a trip to the store and frankly I won't be returning for any future mailing needs. After this experience I wouldn't recommend going there. read more
