    Five stars!! This place came in CLUTCH and Mr. D'Angelo was a life saver. I experienced the best customer service I'd ever recieved at ANY UPS store. I needed to exchange something that absolutely positively HAD to leave today. I actually went to a different store on Powerline Rd that closed earlier than advertised and decided to drift to this location as a last ditch effort. Not only is this store incredibly situated, but the service requested and rendered was beyond anything I'd expected. The prices are awesome and make shipping care packages to family for the holidays or someone deployed a no-brainer. I had my packages shipped and couldn't have done it without the care and professionalism of Patricio. Side note: Immaculate interior. Spotless floors; felt good to walk around in. Little things like that matter

    If I could give this location ZERO stars I would. I entered the store to ship out 3 boxes. As I approached the counter to put my packages on the scale...the clerk told me that he would not be able to take my packages because the label was too light. I have been a logistics manager & I have used UPS as a carrier for over 20 years. I told him that I could read the label to him. He told me that he could listen to me read the label because the UPS driver could only scan the label. I know this isn't true because I have seen my driver type in the label many times even though it is a nuisance. Furthermore, I asked him to scan the package & guess what? My pancakes scanned. I then asked for his name & asked if he was the manager. He told me that he was. I asked for the owner's information & he refused. He then told me that he did not have to do anything because he had a bad day. I then asked him for my packages back so I could take them to a more friendly location that valued my business. He told me that I needed to go around the building & get them from. The driver who was loading his pickups for the day. My packages were still sitting on the side. He was angry & I told him that I did not like being treated like this. I asked if it was because I was black. He said, "oh you don't want to play the race card." He then said he was going to call the police. I am a black man! I asked his associate who was working for his name & she refused to tell me his name & her name. He called the police. I called the police as well because I wanted my packages back. There have been numerous complaints for this location & this owner & his behavior towards people of color l, specifically black people! He told me that he did not care if I called corporate. Is this how UPS wants to represented in a community that is majority black & brown folks?!?

Without acknowledging me or saying a single word, the associate signaled for him to come ahead of me and began helping him instead, even though I had been standing there waiting. I asked her, "Did I miss something? I've been standing here waiting and he just walked in." She completely ignored me and went to the back to get another employee. When he came out, she spoke to him in Spanish and he told me the reason was because the other customer only had one item. Not only was that explanation ridiculous, but he also never apologized and was extremely rude. I told him it didn't matter whether I had one item or one hundred. I was the person who had been standing there waiting. There was no line, and the man literally walked in while I was waiting at the counter. The associate didn't even have the basic courtesy to say "excuse me" or explain anything before letting him go ahead of me. I've been coming to this location for a while, and there have been times when I only had one item while standing in line behind other people. Not once did anyone offer to take me ahead of the person who was already waiting. I also made it clear that it was not lost on me that I was a Black customer standing there waiting while a white customer walked in and was immediately helped ahead of me. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, the employee became defensive and said he was tired of "you people" saying everything is racist. For the record, I never called him racist I pointed out how the situation looked. The most disturbing part is that no one apologized. The employee who confronted me wasn't even present when it happened, he had been in the back and simply came out to defend the situation and make excuses. This was extremely disrespectful and a clear example of poor customer service. This is just lack of basic courtesy and respect. They need to learn how to treat people with respect.

I took my dog to the veterinarian so they could examine him and submit all the required documentation to the United States Department of Agriculture. Once the application is reviewed, the USDA mails the endorsed health certificate back to me. For that reason, I needed to provide a prepaid overnight shipping label. My veterinary clinic recommended that I obtain this label through UPS or FedEx to ensure I receive the certificate on time, as it must be issued within 10 days prior to travel. I visited this UPS Store where I was first assisted by the owner "Paul" the the day after by an employee named Torres. Unfortunately, both refused to help and insisted that what I was requesting could not be done. Despite explaining that other UPS locations regularly provide this service and even showing him an example label. He remained dismissive and did not offer any alternative solution. Instead, he focused on unrelated explanations about surcharges rather than trying to assist. This was not my first disappointing experience at this location. On a previous visit last year, I was told I would be charged simply to have tape applied to my package. That kind of nickel-and-diming, combined with the lack of willingness to help, reflects poorly on the store. (This store clearly needs a new owner/management customer oriented) I then went to another UPS location nearby (1856 N Nob Hill Rd, Plantation, FL). The owner there, Juan, was extremely helpful. He immediately understood the request, created the shipping label within minutes, and even scanned and emailed it to me so I could forward it to my veterinarian. This experience clearly highlighted the difference in customer service. While one location was unhelpful and dismissive, the other was efficient, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented. I highly recommend the Plantation location for anyone needing assistance.
