An obvious expert locksmith! Called 5pm on a Friday night locked out of an electronic keypad with dead batteries. Russ responded right away and was over within the hour. He solved the issue (no way to pick the lock, had to be drilled out) and was out the door in 10 mins. You get what you pay for so skip the drama and go with Service Master. read more

Russ was absolutely amazing. I needed several locks re-keyed & certain ones re-keyed alike. I called Russ after previously using a different locksmith with not-great results (think of a flying bug). One lock was on a rattly doorknob that had seen better days, but my husband hadn't been able to deal with it. Russ offered to replace it with a new doorknob from his truck -- and wow, the new one felt so much more secure. He was super-nice, the price was very reasonable & everything was done without a hitch. He made me a ton of extra keys & tested that each of them worked b4 he left. He also tweaked the area on the doorframe where the deadbolt entered, so that it went in smoothly. I feel really lucky to have found Russ -- thanks, Yelp! read more

Russ responded within minutes and was able to come out within 2 hours of when I reached out. Looking back at the responses from competitors, he also happened to have the best price! He was kind, considerate and very quick. Highly recommend! read more

Took considerable time to answer request for service at a specific time availability in support of an eviction with the county sheriff, only to then say they couldn't provide the service without any explanation.... Yelp, why aren't they required to provide an 85 character explanation in return? read more

Russ was a life saver this morning!! We were locked out of our house early in the morning. He quickly came out to meet us and got us into our house very fast. He has been a locksmith for over 40 years and his skills are remarkable. Russ even took it upon himself to fix a part of the existing lock so now it works even better than it did before. He helped make a stressful situation much better and was awesome to talk to. He even made us new keys for our locks right on the spot!! His prices are great and his service and skills are too top notch! Thank you again Russ!! read more

Ross is very dependable, was on time, and a very kind person. I highly recommend his locksmith services for great value.

My boyfriend and I had a bit of an urgent situation as we had to enter my deceased father's home after hours. Not only did he give me realistic time expectations he was also flexible. He got there two minutes early And gave me a call right away. I was only about one minute from arriving and I was stuck at the train tracks upon telling him that I will be there shortly he informed me that he suspected somebody might still be in the home because of some lights that were on and other signs. I assured him that that is not likely but I couldn't guarantee it and he offered to scan the property with me to help me make sure that everything was safe. Then once we confirmed that no one was in the building (thank God) He proceeded to do his work in the dark after hours which he doesn't normally like to do with a smile on his face. Unforeseen further obstacles occurred. The locks that were installed were some type of special high security lock with an unpickable system! Instead of telling me that it was going to cost a lot more money to get in or that he couldn't do the job he simply went out to his rental car (his work truck was in the shop) And painstakingly and worked his magic. I stood and held the flashlight as we talked and he was unbelievably calming and even cracked some jokes with my bf and I while he asked me about my career! You never witness this kind of genuine effort with customer service in this day and age because he made the experience personal. He made a long and frustrating process seem short and entertaining. And to top things off he disclosed at the end of the job that he had just had a major surgery and actually shouldn't have even been working! I'm sure he was in pain, but he came out to my after hours call anyways and saved the day. Now that's dedication, expert service, great value, and definitely the kind of business that I will use as long as it is available. I cannot recommend this this business enough. PS I hope his kids take over one day so I can still be a forever customer! read more

This is my second review for Service Master Locksmith. I needed a smart lock installed and general modifications to my door. I looked no further than Russ based on my first experience. Again, Russ answered the call and did a great job. He was on time, final price was the same he quoted, and great clean install. I highly recommend Service Master Locksmith. Like I said I'm my first review, I'd give him 10 stars if I could. read more

I called Russ letting him know our front door wouldn't open and he said he could arrive within the hour. He let us know that one of the parts had broken from wear and tear. He fetched the part from his truck and was done in like 5 minutes. The whole process was so easy and I'm so thankful because not being able to enter through the front door was definitely a pain! Thank you Russ! read more

Russel was very responsive, communicative regarding when he would arrive, and he did the job efficiently. His price was fair and he kept his estimate even though the job was bigger than he thought. When he rekeyed the lock he provided keys that were numbered so if we ever lose them he will create a duplicate for free and we won't be locked out again. Thank you! read more

Very prompt and kind, was able to take care of a lock cylinder replacement on an old door the same day!

Super quick to respond. Russ answered my call right away and was able to fit me in right away. His prices are spot on and he does quality work. I'd definitely use him again. read more

I sent a message seeking estimates from locksmiths in North County and Russell from Service Master Locksmith responded within 5 minutes. I look forward to hiring him again in the future for another job. Thank you again Russell! read more

Russ was great--on time, fair price, quality work. Highly recommended if you need any locksmith service!

Needed locks changed and new handles fitted re-keying my whole house. ServiceMaster had few reviews but I decided to go with them as each review is a glowing 5 stars! Extremely happy I did. Russ responded fast and fit me in straight away. Very well priced but more than that he was knowledgeable with a lot of experience and offered solutions to issues that arose with my mixed up lock setups. He provided professional quality work with no mess around. Fast quality service is a rarity these days and one that I truly appreciate. Supporting a family run business feels good too. So good that I will be contacting Russ again for my new office lock fit out and recommending him to any friends that need this service!! Would highly recommend read more

Russ, could not be better. Came earlier then promised. got right to work and completed work in under 10 minutes. Very pleasant. I am extremely pleased and can not recommend him any higher. read more

Wonderful experience! A friend lost his keys and my house key was on his key ring. While I wasn't too worried, I thought I'd better be safe than sorry and get my locks re-keyed. I asked for a quote through Yelp and Russell responded very quickly and clearly with his trip and per-lock charge, without making me call him. He had the best price of 6 places I contacted and he was able to come the day after I called. He re-keyed 7 locks in just about 30 minutes! Communication was great, he was on time, friendly, worked fast, was very professional, and has over 50 years of experience being a locksmith. I will definitely use him again if I need to, and highly recommend this company. read more

Such a great person, came out on a Saturday, was quick and very kind. Definitely recommend!

Great communication. Russ reached out to me almost immediately after sending a request for a quote. Gave me a fair quote and was able to do same day service which was great given our time crunch. Was very transparent with pricing and when I forgot about the additional locks he needed to change he called for confirmation before changing. Great to work with and definitely will use again. Thank you Russ. read more
