I even emailed the company to ask what they used to clean the floor since the place reeked. But they didn't say anything about bleach so I let it go. Then I found a smallish bleach stain on my bathroom rug. But it was a cheap rug I didn't like so I let that go too. However, I went to move my Lovsac (it's like a beanbag chair but it's huge and filled with memory foam) and there's a giant bleach stain on the bottom!!!! I contacted the company, sent photos and they are completely ignoring me!!! I just want a new cover to replace the ruined material, and they won't return my phone calls. I'm so angry!!!!

That is how I would describe the cleaning team I hired on Saturday night for what must have been one of the worst clean-ups they've ever had in their professional lives... So I just started seeing someone, and I like him a lot, but he would not invite me over to his place because he said it was "way too messy". I was thinking, you know, garden-variety-bachelor-pad kind of messy, but he assured me that no, it was really bad. After a few weeks of back and forth over whether he might hire a cleaning service to come help him out, he finally relented and let me call around to find someone. I told him that the cleaning would be my treat. Have you ever tried to find a service to do same-day apartment cleaning... on a Saturday? On the final weekend of the month, just when everybody is either moving out or moving in? Let me tell you, it is TOUGH. Everyone is either fully-booked, or won't answer their phones. I started on page 1 of Yelp, and kept dialing the numbers of every single service that had 4+ stars until I got to Immaculate Maid, my lucky #19. Breanna answered the phone - the office line was forwarded to her cell (what a novel idea, other cleaning service companies!). Not only did she have staff available to come clean that day, but she scheduled us for later in the day - 5pm. This was perfect. She offered to send either 2 or 3 people, and with my guy's foreboding tone ringing in my head ("you don't understand, it is really bad"), I quickly suggested she send 3 people, for sure. I also told her that he was just a little bit sensitive about having let his place go so badly, and could she please tell her girls to be extra nice to him, whatever it was they walked into? She was so understanding and reassuring - she said, "Of course." Well! He sent me "before pictures" just before the Immaculate Maids arrived, and WOW. It was literally kind of a den of filth. When I picked him up at 5:15 he told me that the girls had walked in with very large eyes as they surveyed the work, but they didn't say anything to him other than, "What is your cell phone number?" We were originally quoted 2.5 hours of work, but very very understandably, this got extended to 5.5 hours. Breanna was super responsive, very professional, and kept me up-to-date via text about how much time they would need to complete the cleaning. These poor girls spent ALL of their Saturday night in his place, until 10:30pm, hustling to squeeze 10-or-so years of catch-up cleaning into one session. Boyfriend was skeptical about how far they could actually get, but when we walked in he was immediately transfixed by how unbelievably clean and orderly everything was. He was literally overwhelmed with happiness! He just sat down, couldn't stop smiling, and kept saying, "You don't understand, it was BAD," and then would point out some amazing feat the girls had taken care of which he could not believe. I wasn't sure how much to tip for such an extensive and time-consuming undertaking, but I (hopefully) erred on the side of "way too much". I am hoping they will return to do touch-up service for him every few weeks, after all! I want to let Breanna, her cleaning staff, and all of you Yelpers know what an enormous psychological burden was lifted off of this man's shoulders when he came home to a clean house. His entire disposition shifted and it was almost like he was excited about life again. Seriously. I think sometimes you just get to a point where it's too overwhelming for you to even take the first few steps yourself, and you need someone to come in and wipe the slate clean for you. Price I would say is very fair for this type of service, for our place. They do a great deep cleaning as well, where they actually get on their hands and knees to clean corners and wipe down hard to clean places.

The stars are for the great customer service, however, the cleaning people except one was not good…read more The first time I hired Kleanguru was to clean out my rental and told them it was a move out cleaning and there was only two bathrooms to clean plus a small kitchen and mop floors (only entry and going to laundry room and the kitchen) a very small space. I told them the place was just painted so no dusting required and carpet was cleaned professionally and that didn't need vacuuming either. The job was supposed to take 3-4 hours but it needed an additional hour to hour and half for her to finish everything. I will say the cleaner was a nice lady and didn't speak English well but funny how they understood some things and not the others! After almost 5 1/2 hours the place was still not cleaned thoroughly as you would do a move out! I let the customer service know and they sent a very capable lady to finish the mopping and cleaning of the inside of the cabinets that the first cleaning lady was supposed to do! The last lady did a good job and left very fast. So, I decided to give Kleanguru another chance to come and clean my house and specifically asked for the lady that came last as she spoke English and was fast and through. I was told she's not available and they sent another lady that didn't speak English either and kept using her phone to translate which was absolutely fine. Again this job was supposed to be 4 hours as there are 2 1/2 bathroom and a kitchen and I wanted the lady to dust everywhere and mop as I have allergies and it's a must. My house is always tidy and clean (just need the deep clean every few months)! Even when we were touring the place she said "it's so clean"! I told her I expected her to clean the first floor for a few hours. And then maybe one to one and half hours upstairs and the basement just needed vacuuming. I assumed she understood as I translated it for her. She started in the kitchen and was talking on her phone a good while. She was there for almost an hour and it's a small kitchen so I excepted to be perfect. However, she didn't even clean under the toaster and other few small appliances as there was crumb there. She didn't even clean the sink well as I had to re-do it myself. She spend another hour or so and then went upstairs and there's a small full bath that she really didn't do anything to except push dirt around as they would say. She didn't even vacuum well. She came to me and said she has only 10 minutes left of the 4 hours and what I wanted to do and I told her to go to the basement and just vacuum that's all. She was there a few minutes and didn't even vacuum the area as you walk in since there was a cobweb I had left to see if she will clean it up. She didn't! She was on her phone constantly. She left and I paid the company directly and when asked I told them she didn't really clean well. I was told that 4 hours was not enough time and they needed another half to one hour more. I sent pictures of the items I mentioned above that wasn't cleaned and they didn't respond. Basically hopefully it'll be better next time with more hours added! Unfortunately, when you deal with such companies and they make money off of their crew, they always find a way to add more hours so they make more money. None of the cleaning people did a good job except the one.

Lamar showed up at 5:30 at the end of day and proceeded to double our estimate. In addition he scoffed at the amount of work even tho it was clearly defined during estimation. He clearly is trying to hustle people. Even his associate was trying to talk him into being more reasonable. Don't waste your time.
