He sent me pictures and was very helpful in the process of picking a stain and finish. While Michael and his team were working, they noticed some areas that still had carpet and staples (which were supposed to be removed by our General Contractor, but did not do a great job), and he volunteered to remove it, and was happy to do it! Once all the work was done, my husband and I checked to see how everything looked and we loved it!!! Everything looked so fresh and the stain we selected (weathered oak) looked stunning! I love how everything blended in so well and the stain looked so natural. The team did an AMAZING JOB!!! While you want the team to do an amazing job with the actual job of refinishing, you also want to work with someone that communicates well and cares about the job. This is another area that Michael goes above and beyond. I cannot believe how easy it was to relay information and get a response back!! Michael returned my calls and texts in record time. Michael is not someone that is going into the job just for a paycheck. He cares about his clients and truly wants to see them happy at the end of the project. One of our neighbors previously recommended Three Brothers Roofing, so, I called them and asked Jose to look at our roof. What I like about this company is he took photographs at both locations and showed us what had to be repaired and the cost to make the repairs......the estimate was very reasonable and they were able to make both repairs in one day. He took photos during and after the repair work and explained in detail what they did. After the repairs were completed they cleaned up so it looked like they were never here. If anyone in our area has a roofing issue I would recommend calling them (201-367-8963) and see what they say. They are very professional, licensed and insured.

He took pictures beforehand so you can see what was wrong. We had a tanker gutter issue in the front (I had a different contractor fix the rear one a few years prior.) They were able to fix it all in a day. A few weeks later we noticed another leak (when it rains it pours!) in a different spot we had not told them about originally. They were able to come back, remove the tiles, fix the underlying problem and did it at no additional cost. I would definitely recommend them for any minor or major roofing issue.

Let me start by saying that I second a lot of what people are saying about Carlos: in that, he…read morecomes off as a nice guy, he has a nice crew, and he has a drone that he flies over your house when searching for an issue on your roof. Where I disagree with the other reviews concerns Carlos' ability to deliver results. Because in my case, he simply did not deliver results. To be clear, I paid Carlos $1,600 to FIND and REPAIR the source of a leak above my upstairs bathroom. He came out, flew his drone around, and told me that he found the issue. After doing some work on the roof, he then told me that he found the issue and fixed it. A couple months later, still had the leak. He subsequently sent a crew member out to find the source of the continued leak. The crew member went up to the roof, did some work, and told me that he found the issue (a different issue than Carlos first found) and fixed it. Still, the leak continued, and only became worse over time (see attached photo). For a while, Carlos talked a good game about coming back out to repair the leak after I sent him photos and videos of the fact that the leak was still not repaired. But he never showed any sense of urgency about scheduling to come back out. There was always an excuse as to why we would have to schedule for "next week" or sometime in the future instead of just making it a priority to come back out and get the job done. Then, the last time we spoke, he proposed opening up the ceiling in my bathroom to find the leak, but ghosted me after making that drastic suggestion and after I requested a partial (not even a full) refund. I then had another company from Bergenfield come out that immediately found the source of the leak and fixed it for several hundreds of dollars less than what Carlos charged me. For me at least (as I can't speak for others' experience), Carlos is a business owner who can't deliver results, and who ghosts you and keeps your money when you call him on it, even after you inform him that you will sue him (which, I will) if he doesn't provide a refund. Not my kind of guy, not my kind of business.
