Since the home is only two years old, I didn't feel comfortable trusting just anyone with the repairs. After looking into several options, we contacted a company called 1800 Water Damage. We wanted the work done quickly before any mold could develop. Even though it was a Sunday, which I thought might make things difficult, the owner, Eddie, came out right away. After meeting him, I decided to move forward with their company. They immediately began a full drying process in all the affected areas. After three days, they confirmed everything was completely dry through testing and then proceeded with the repairs. The entire process was completed much faster than I expected. Thanks to Eddie, everything was handled professionally and to my complete satisfaction. I truly appreciate the quality of work and service I received. By the time we found out, asbestos-containing dust had spread throughout the house. We needed a meticulous, whole-house abatement, and Seamus and his team delivered. His crew worked quickly, thoroughly, and carefully, using proper negative air pressure machines and going to great lengths to clean the HVAC system. The house was clearance tested twice by a third-party company, and each time Seamus handled any required follow-up cleaning without complaint. The house looked great when they finished. Beyond the abatement, Seamus was communicative, flexible, and able to take on additional rough work through his GC license. His team worked through the weekend to meet our move-in schedule and took on scope basic additions like patching holes, installing outlets, and drywalling a ceiling with large gaps--all part of sealing up the house after remediation. He was also respectful of the property: nothing important was discarded, and his team even managed to retrieve historic shelves from the dumpster after I mistakenly told them they could be trashed. Pricing seemed very fair, especially given the quality and urgency of the work. We would highly recommend Seamus and his company for any asbestos remediation project.
