I got 3 estimates, and picked the guy in the middle - because Victor just gave me a great vibe - quietly competent and proud of his work. My wife was extremely concerned with dust and overspray - we have brand new custom engineered wood floors all around the kitchen, and srtwork on the walls. On the day, Victor and his assistant showed up on time, then spent almost 2 hours protecting everything. I asked if he could give us a honed finish instead of the polished look - no problem! Having worked with laminate flooring myself, I found that odd, not to mention unprofessional. Within a month, i.e., by October 2020, the vinyl plank had snapped like a cracker right by the entry door. I called Mark Mateev, emailed him, texted him - all to no avail. I called the local office of floor coverings international and later called the national office - again, no response. Before hiring Mark, I recall asking about the other review on this site about their poor customer service and he dismissed it saying the parts took a while, but he had fixed their problem. Based on his experience with me, clearly I was had.
