During the coldest nights, our pilot light would go out leaving us with no heat at night. We called…read moreJohnson to come look at our boiler system. After the tech worked on it, the pilot light wouldn't come back on at all. He told us it was a valve he had to overnight to us leaving us with no heat for 4 days in below zero temps. After finally receiving the part (which was a $1000 valve), he installed it but the system still didn't work. The tech tried to tell us it was the heating element at $6000 or we can just replace the entire system for $9000. We told him to put the system back together and leave. After a couple of days, we hear a loud banging in my pipes and then my heat turns back on. After researching ourselves, we realized this tech at Johnson couldn't figure out that we had frozen condensation in our pipes which prevented our heat from working. Id also like to mention that bf this tech began working on our system, he had told us that he had just come from another call that he couldn't fix, and had to sell them an entirely new system. I'm believing now that this is their goal. To sell new systems, not fix the problem.D

1st time I used this company it was an A/C "check up" (2018) and arrived on time. (the previous…read morecompany Summers had called and confirmed then canceled a few days before) Chad (probably the owner) suggested a thing or two and completed the inspection/cleaning/maintenance fairly quickly and at what I felt was a reasonable price. (I got quotes from 2 other companies) I asked about a programable thermostat installation and Chad looked at the time (probably b/c he didn't want to be late to his next appointment) and after looking at my current device, told me he had what I need on his truck and told me the cost. Again I felt it was a reasonable since i'd been researching online. There was a noticeable positive difference in how quickly the system cooled my home after his visit. Today when I noticed it was 77 degrees in the house I called and got voice mail. Chad returned my call in about 40 minutes and recalled his visit a year ago. He asked my address and was here within 10 minutes. (I had thought I'd have to wait until the next day b/c it was 3 PM)Half an hour later he had replaced a small part and explained why. Again at a reasonable price. I thanked him and told him I'd schedule a furnace "check up" this fall. I wish he did roofing and plumbing too. Bottom line, GREAT experiences. btw, I don't live in San Francisco, I use a VPN and I guess it indicated to yelp the wrong location. I live in Bloomington, IN.
