Commercial Services was the fourth company we called--but the first to get everything working properly. To be clear: they were not responsible for the original install. We were referred to them through Trane, and they've been exceptional from day one. They came out in the spring and got every component of our system running correctly. They returned today for our seasonal checkup, and everything continues to perform as it should. Their technicians are skilled, courteous, and honest. They show up when they say they will, communicate clearly, and take pride in their work. While I did pay for their services, I was happy to--because they actually fixed the problems and treated us fairly throughout. After dealing with multiple vendors who couldn't get the job done, Commercial Services has restored our confidence. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional, trustworthy HVAC service.

Good overall experience…read more We live in a 2 story house and had regular issues with huge temperature variations between the downstairs and upstairs that lead us to call a few HVAC companies and get consults. Our initial idea was that we needed a 2nd system to even it out and many companies made this same recommendation.. naturally that comes with a HUGE price tag. Terrell HVAC had a bit of a different idea after taking the time to take a deep dive at the house. Rob recognized that our vents in the ceiling were located incorrectly within the rooms; on interior walls instead of exterior walls. They recommended we move these vents to the outside walls, increase some piping or something and make a couple of the air returns larger. They said this would increase the airflow and circulation or something and in essence move the air around cooling or heating accordingly?? I think this is right.. no idea, I'm not very knowledgeable in HVAC Despite this being a good chunk of work, it was 1/5th the cost of installing a second unit and should help even out the upstairs and downstairs. After a little research we decided to give it a whirl. 6 months or so later and in the middle of winter, I am very happy to say that during summer and winter that temperature variations that were 8 to 10 degrees are now a couple degrees!! I couldn't be happier that we got this sorted out and didn't have to spend $5k+ as many others recommended. PS... I see the 1 star review (after the fact) and have no idea what that lady is talking about. Look at her other reviews... all 1 star too.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! Worst customer service in my life. We hired them for master bathroom…read morerenovation. They sent a guy who spoke little English who said he could demo the bathroom in half a day. He proceeded to cut two water lines and LEAVE 20 min later without telling me (I was in the house). I called Riverway, they said he was overwhelmed and can't do the job and they can send someone else Tuesday. (This was Friday). I needed our water main back on, the girl on phone said she can send someone OR my crew can turn it back on "either way". My crew turned it on. Hours later I get home and realize my basement is flooded and ceiling busted through under the shower. Riverway owner was horrible on the phone to me!! "Your crew turned the main back on so legally I don't have to pay for this!" Terrible tone and attitude to me so my husband then took over. Riverway refused to pay for the service master cleanup/fans and has now ghosted us! All over $3,000 worth of repairs. I've texted owner multiple times and he will not respond so we have to pay for it ourselves. I'm telling everyone I know to never ever ever use Riverway!!!!

I also inquired about a home filtration system and was advised not really needed with the better quality of water in Monroe County. A recommendation was made for a sediment filter system as we have had some issues with some PEX water lines and their inline filters that were installed less than 10 years ago by a different plumbing company. Very nice people to work with and we were very happy with the cost of the work!
