I called Elk Grove Computers and was told to bring them in for a free diagnostic test. When I arrived at their location, I discussed the symptoms and was advised that the two computers could be repaired, and the Dell would be ready in a couple of days. The Dell was a very inexpensive computer to begin with, so I told them that I didn't want to pay a lot to repair it. We also discussed the fact that I had purchased the Dell because the computer that I had in my classroom was in such poor shape, that I decided to buy my own system rather than deal with the school district. The next day I received a text message saying my Dell was ready to be picked up. The owner of the company stayed late and repaired my computer just in case I needed it in my classroom. I was extremely impressed. About a week or so later, I received a call about the other computer, an iMac 27". Based on what was happening with that computer, I had been expecting to pay over $1000.00 to have it repaired. Elk Grove Computer Service made all need repairs, and installed updated software for less than half what I was expecting to pay. In addition to great work on my computer, I can't say enough about how friendly everyone is at this location.
