The service dept and mechanic told me each time I called to check the status (simple question right?) or if they didn't know, just call or text. I'm on day 4 and nobody has ever called. Updated from 2 stars to 1. Once again, my Ford valet appointment was missed--with no communication or follow-up. I called several times and left voicemails, including at the number provided above by the Ford representative, but received no response. I was eventually told that the person responsible for my appointment was out of the office that day. When I asked why someone else couldn't take over their appointments, I was told it was because I booked "day-of"--despite the fact that I had scheduled several days in advance. I asked to speak with a manager and was told they'd send an email and have someone call me. That call never came. What I did receive was a voicemail at 6pm on a Saturday asking if I wanted to upgrade to a new Ford from Serramonte. This is after I've twice told them I'm no longer purchasing a vehicle from Serramonte Ford. This place is incredibly disorganized and poorly managed. read more

I can't stand these guys. Every single time I come in for service I have to wait super long even though I made an appointment. Then the advisor assures me they will call me back when it happens. I've used Seremonte Ford four times now and that has never happened. Advisors are terrible. What's more they took my car for a week and told me there were no rental cars available. Seriously? I had to find one on my own and deal with their reimbursement process. 4 weeks in and I still haven't been paid back. It's just a constant with Seremonte Ford. Expect to be ignored. These guys do not care. I recommend going elsewhere unless you like spending hours trying to reach your advisor. Tracy Ford has always treated me extremely well, for example. I've used dealerships near Fremont and had similarly good experiences. If you do end up using Seremonte Ford, first off sorry, and secondly don't be afraid to call Ford corporate. I've found it very helpful when struggling to get the time of day from their service advisors. I had a pretty good experience here. I had ordered a brand new car for MSRP and they honored it and didn't even ask for a down payment. I did have to wait about a year for a new 2023 Ford Maverick; they were helpful and even picked me up at the bart station. I didn't buy any extras or extended warranties but I know what I want and go what I wanted. The staff was over very friendly and easy going. They have coffee for people to drink and clean restrooms. I was in and out in a bit over an hour with everything. I even did get a call to check in on me after I bought my Truck asking if everything is ok Only time will tell but overall I was pretty happy with the way I treated here. read more

I purchased a 2017 Ford Escape from this dealership. I did not drive it on the freeway, and that was my mistake. On going back home, I live about 100 miles north of SF, I noticed the car felt like it was slipping on patches of ice. The next couple of days I was sick, but when I felt better, I contacted my mechanic. He drove it and said it felt like the transmission was slipping. I called Serramonte Ford and they said to bring it in on Monday. Over the weekend, I was almost in an accident, because the transmission would not work. I was not going to drive back down to SF and take the chance of getting stranded. I got rid of the car. I called the dealership and told them there was NO WAY they would not have known about the tranny problem, and I asked them to for a partial refund. They basically blew me off. I visited Serramonte Ford on July 1, 2025, for my 40,000-mile service and was informed I needed four new tires. The staff confirmed they had the tires in stock and could install, align, and balance them, so I agreed. Upon leaving, I noticed the new tires were a different brand than the originals that came with my car when I purchased it new. On July 24, 2025, while driving on a rough road with speed bumps (a route I'd driven many times with my original tires without issue) the front passenger-side tire blew out. Since my car doesn't come with a spare, I had it towed to a repair shop, where the damaged tire was replaced with a temporary one. Upon inspecting the tire, I found the damage was on the sidewall, not a puncture, suggesting to me it was a low-quality tire. On July 26, I returned to Serramonte Ford to inquire about warranty coverage or a discount on a replacement tire. The staff member I spoke with instructed me to contact the attendant from my July 1 visit, took a photo of the damage, and left a note for them. On July 28, the attendant responded, stating they could do nothing to assist. I felt dismissed, as if they thought I was fabricating a story to get a free tire. As a loyal Ford customer who purchased a new vehicle from them and consistently serviced it at their dealership, I expected better treatment. We purchased a used black Audi A3 from them. We were excited as it was for our son and exactly the color he wanted. However the dealership/sales person was not transparent with us about many things - 1) we didn't realize they only had one key on the car until we already completed paperwork. He gave us the key as we were leaving. When I asked for the second one, he said there was only one. It cost me 800 dollars to get another key from Audi dealership. If I had known, I would have totally asked them to cover the cost of the key! Buyers please be aware of the crazy costs of keys today. 2) The car had mats in the trunk and one was missing! What the heck. Count the mats, too. They were stacked so we made assumptions. 3) heavily perfumed to hide musty odors. We had to totally detail the car again. I spent at least another 1500. They won't tell you anything unless you explicitly ask - true salesman, care only about the ONE sale and not return customer/loyalty. **BEWARE** So I recently bought a Corvette at Serramonte Ford. I was satisfied with the car and my salesman was great. Well not even a month later and it already has a big issue involving one of the belts that snapped off and wrapped around other components and caused an oil leak. Well it was very upsetting because I didn't expect something like that would happen so soon. Called warranty and they couldnt cover it as its only a belt issue in their eyes. And then my next resort was to call Serramonte Ford to see if we can come up with a solution for this issue. I had very high hopes being they are a big dealership and they would help me. But no. I spoke with the used car manager and he told me straight up its all on me and they will 100% not be able to help and will not help me. Not even a portion of the repair cost. So now here I am being quoted $2000+ from a Chevrolet dealer for repairs. My main question is was the car even inspected properly? I have worked at a Lexus dealership in the past and with my experience there 100% shouldve been signs of wear on the belt that they never discussed. The used car manager told me his technician approved the inspection and everything was perfect which I highly doubt they even do their inspections properly. How is it that not even a month later all that damage happens. Maybe if it was properly inspected. They couldve caught the wear from the belt and that it was time to replace. I dont understand as the customer how it is my fault. This is 100% on Serramonte Ford for failing to properly inspect a vehicle. Now that I am seeing other similar reviews. It seems like a pattern at this point. These people are just focused on selling and could care less about the customers after. read more

What the bull crap numbers are these for a Maverick lease??? Giving us the "maverick is popular and rare right now". Okay so? Not ever worth the $12k mark up. We came in to consider options for lease or finance for a truck. The whole time we told Mo that we are comfortable paying $500 a month or less so we thought maybe lease is better and will provide us with more options on models. We tested the used Ranger that he was sure we would loooove. That piece of crap sounded terrible. Anyway... we over heard they just got in a maverick hybrid so we thought that could be our next consideration (F-150 would be sweet but...$$$) After the test drive, we asked for lease and finance options. The manager came in with our numbers with the Maverick and said.." $800 a month or less right???" He was super excited to show us that even with $3k down we only pay $700 a month for 72 months. NOOOOOOO NOOOOOO. $500 or less period. And what the heck! 72 months... anyway, I understand you have your $12k mark up and don't want to budge. If numbers were good, we would have definitely offered a larger down payment. He took one second to let us know if we want a payment remotely close to $500 for lease we would need $11k down so that "wouldn't make sense for us" and then forced us to not even consider that option. Excuse me??? The numbers are soo flipped flopped. Maybe I don't know how to math but... In 3 years you want $11k plus $673 for 36 months= $35,228. Basically the price of the car. Then there's technically $7k balance left.. am I missing something here? To my understanding, the calculation for lease is usually paying depreciation of the car and at the end they could still sell it and make their money again. It's gonna depreciate 90% in 3 years? Let's flip flop the numbers.. rough numbers.. if the lease was $3k down and $700 payments for 36 months, that still comes out to be $28k in 3 years. Even that would make more sense. Serramonte Ford is terrible and a potentially fraudulent. Having been a long time customer (over 5 years), I've finally had enough. I brought in my 2014 Ford Focus because of transmission problems. I told the team it was most likely the Transmission Control Module (which was still under warranty). After 2 weeks of "tests" they told me the problem was the clutch which needed to be replaced for $3000. Hesitantly I decided to move forward with the new clutch. ONE WEEK LATER my car broke down again with the same transmission problems. I had my car towed back to Ford so they could make this right. After some more "test" it turned out the problem was in fact the Transmission Control Module... They replaced the TCM since it was still under warranty but it took 6 weeks. Overall it took 2 months, $3000, and minimal updates from the Ford team to get my car back in decent shape. I'm seriously considering legal action based on this experience. Ford never offered a rental during the 2 MONTHS without a car, never offered a discount or money back on the new clutch, they never updated me on my car's status (I had to call them every time), and they wouldn't event give me a ride to the BART station (a service they used to offer) when I dropped off my car both times. Take your car and money anywhere else. Don't be scammed like I was, and don't give Serramonte Ford your time or money. read more

The correct answer to that question is not "I don't know." If the customer tries to prompt the service rep for a ballpark estimate with a helpful hint such as "Would you say something between 6 months and 20 years?" or "Something between 10,000 and 200,000 miles?" the expected response is not "What do you want me to tell you? There's no way to know." I fear, judging from the peevish tone of the reply I received from your Service Rep, that I had asked a foolishly immaterial question and was causing him a grievous loss of his valuable time whilst formulating a reply calculated to ensure that no further impudent questions would be forthcoming. It was probably naïve of me to think that someone with the word "Service" in his job title would've handled such a question, however immaterial, with a bit of patience. Never mind that to me, at least, the idea of spending $15,000 on anything is highly material and worthy of deeper inquiry. You'll be relieved to know that I promise not to inconvenience your staff with further questions of any kind. If I do decide to buy a battery, instead of trading my Fusion in for a Prius, I'll be sure to trouble some other dealership read more

Hamza called 20min later and we made a deal, which included delivery. Then 5 mins later he called me back and said the wants to increase the price not by much so I agreed to it. Sent him my application to lock in the car and figure out the logistics. Then he called and said oh I have to charge you another 100 for deliver because I couldn't find a guy to deliver to you and now he has to use 3rd party. The sales man Hamza never called and said you inquired first about this vehicle. Just want to let you know we have another customer here looking to buy it. They ended up selling it to someone else. Although I was initially very satisfied with the sales team when I purchased my Mustang Mach-E 2 years ago (my salesperson was AMAZING), my recent experience with the service department was a HUGE disappointment. I scheduled an appointment to have my vehicle checked because of a warning light that appears when I start my vehicle. My appointment was scheduled for 9 am. I was told that I would be billed $12.97 for a Lyft ride to work (unlike my experience with Hyundai, a courtesy ride is not provided). By 2 pm I had not received any information statusing me on my vehicle. When I called to find out some information the phone rang with no answer. After my fourth unsuccessful attempt with trying to contact the service department, I decided to leave work, call for a second Lyft and return to Serramonte Ford. I arrived to the service department at 3 pm. I was told after SEVEN HOURS my car had NOT been looked at. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Recommendation: If you are unable to provide a courtesy ride for customers when they bring their car in, waiving the price of a Lyft ride shouldn't be that big of a stretch. Customers should be contacted within a couple of hours statusing them on their vehicle. If a vehicle is kept overnight, a courtesy car should be offered to the customer. In my opinion, Serramonte Ford needs to, DO BETTER. read more
