Based on that storyline, they're refusing to take responsibility for the flooring damage. The windows were installed without permits. I brought in four independent inspections, including three licensed general contractors and one home inspector. All confirmed active water intrusion and pointed to the window installation as the likely source. Despite that, Forever Builders continues to deny, redirect, and avoid addressing the actual installation. The floors never had water intrusion before the remodel. The problem started after their work. Instead of owning it and fixing it, they've chosen to argue technicalities and wait for CSLB to force the issue. For a company that promotes itself as 5-star, this has been anything but. When serious defects surface, there's no urgency, no accountability, and no effort to stand behind the work. Just excuses. That is not 5-star service. That is not what integrity looks like.

At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.

I went to most of the usual haunts - various lighting stores, department stores, even Ikea on someone's suggestion. While there was some OK stuff, I found nothing that wowed me. Doing another web search, I found Urban Lighting and made it down to the store. As nice as the pieces looked online, they even looked better in person. The staff let me know I could browse around at my leisure and to let them know if I had any questions. After looking at a few, I inquired about the pricing and found them a good value. Yeah, some were out of my budget, but I also found some that were in my range and very nice. Mark was extremely helpful in getting my order placed, and his recommendation of using Electric Green to install the light was a great choice. I know I'll be back when I'm redoing some other fixtures around the house, and can't wait to see what really cool items they have to show me. So if you're decorating a dorm room, this probably isn't the place. If you're decorating a home, though, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.

Didn't show up on time. It seems like all were lies. No experience in shed installation AT ALL. Before I decide to hire him he told me that it could be done in hours. When it comes to that actual Installtion, he left the job less than an hour. Then he threatened me to pay in double or I could go find another constructor. Very rude and talked to me in altitude!!! And he even cursed me. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! A waste of your time and money!! read more

We hired his nephew, Denny. 1 month was the completion time we were told. Beginning of August 2023 was the starting time and here is 2024 with an incomplete yard. Completion time is nothing compared to the rest. I really need no words... just look at his work that he's been proud of, each step of the way. I do not know how he has a license. He was not knowledgeable about certain things, was unprofessional, negligent with poor communication skills, horrible workmanship and was ok with obviously horrendous work. Beware of Denny Cohen. He shrugs off concerns, believes his guys over clients so doesn't even check on the concerns & lies about little things such as digging, dirt replacement, leveling, sloping, seams, and likes to raise his voice at women when he is asked about something that is obviously wrong. I was uncomfortable continuing to work with him and Realm Home insisted I do anyways. Even though they knew how the last interaction between us made me feel like crying afterwards due to his aggressive tone and telling me how anything he does-- I won't be satisfied-- over and over and over again. All we have asked for was proper completion. We were willing to accept so many things that were wrong but we couldn't accept these things you see in the pictures. I don't believe anyone else would either. A huge project that he could not handle. I don't want anyone going through this!!!! If he had only addressed our concerns when we first brought them up, instead of brushing us off... ***oh it's supposed to be sloped. What do you mean lumpy. We'll just brush that and it'll be fine. The seams? There will always be seams. That's what dg looks like. Dg will never be solid, the dogs will always leave foot prints. (if dogs can leave footprints, humans can leave bigger ones, so why would anyone want dg?). That's 100% new dirt, my guys said (even with video proof of the opposite) *** ... there was a huge chance that the project would have been completed and worthy of, at the very least, "settling".
