Protein choices include beef, chicken, or get beans and vegetables. Got us a couple of tacos with the beans. These were topped with cilantro and onions. Small but full of flavor. The store has drinks such as Jarritos, and you can get big ass cans of beans so you can make tacos for later. Good place to get authentic Mexican food. It's located on West Jackson Street at Illinois Avenue in a building that looks unassuming from outside. There's taqueria is located in the back, and you order at the window.

Absolutely horrible experience from the long haired male cashier, after two screwed up orders the cashier would not have my order remade or refund my money. It took a call to the Murphysboro IL. location to get a manager involved because there wasn't one at the Carbondale location and finally the cashier put a call to the owner Sergio himself to get the order remade again and he tried to make it right by adding some more steak to the burrito which I did appreciate but even the 3rd order came out wrong and I was already very angry and hungry after an hour and a half+ ordeal and I just took the 3rd order. That teenager long haired guy cashier needs to be fired after the treatment he gave me, absolutely ridiculous and I won't be going back there any time soon if ever. Extremely disappointed for sure because in general the food has been awesome. Apparently the Carbondale location needs some tightening up from Sergio asap.
