(Really nervous. Anxiety began weeks before the appointment. Asking the same questions over and over, and to multiple adults.) Once in the chair, they still had a million questions. Dr. Samiei and his staff answered each one patiently.  He allowed my child agency to ease their nerves (counting down to the Novocain shot, deciding on hand signals in case a break was needed, etc.). The appointment took longer than necessary due to all the questions, but never once did they rush. My child left happy and relieved. Can't recommend them enough, especially if you or your child experience anxiety at the dentist.

The first dentist there a long time ago was fine but then I had to deal with Dr Lender and that's when it became clear that this wasn't safe anymore. I dealt with Dr Lender for a cavity and to say that he did a poor job is an understatement. Not only was he RUDE, COLD and DRY, he also was INCOMPETENT. I saw how dirty of a job he did when I moved on to a different dentist and my new dentist showed me close up photos. Just as an example, after the filling was done, I told him that my bite was off, he refused to accept my answer and shut me down saying that my perception was off because I was still numb. Sure enough when I came home and the numbness went away, it bothered me. I came back the next day to get it fixed. Another dentist did it but kept praising Dr Lender's excellent job the whole time and made sure to show me how my visit was an inconvenience in her schedule and how much of a favor they were doing me a favor. In other words, POOR communication if none, INCOMPETENCE, rude people (except Elena) and unconfortable place all round. Do yourself a favor and avoid it at all costs.

He tried again, adding extra cement material which made it stick out like a huge tooth. It was placed on crooked, doesn't line up and he made it more white. This was meant to be a quick fix so he could redo both front teeth at another appointment. However, once I mentioned I was from CA and how much I typically pay there the estimate was jacked up to conform. Nowhere in the nation do they charge $700 for a chair bonded tooth. Now I am stuck with a horrible look which means no more smiling! I can buy a plane ticket to LA and with bonding included at $350 be far ahead of dealing with this work. I'm extremely upset that a dentist has no regard for your smile and would attempt to overcharge.

I had heard very positive things about Dental Associates so I gave them a call. When I told them how long it had been since I had been to the dentist they didn't gasp, give me any crap, and said "come on in, let's take a look." What a great experience. My teeth aren't in as bad shape as I thought. The dental hygenist (Meaghan) who examined me, took X-rays, did the assessment, explained everything, and then cleaned my teeth was A++++. No pain. No rolling eyes. No shame. No scolding. Just really clean teeth now and a plan to address the few issues I have. I don't have dental insurance and I thought the price was more than fair, and actually a lot less than I thought I'd spend. I would highly recommend Dental Associates to anyone, especially if you, like me, haven't been to a dentist in a long time.

His calm demeanor is wonderful, absolutely, then couple that with his skill, knowledge, and inventive nature makes him a "miracle worker". I had an emergency on a Friday night (as my front tooth decided to leave), and of course, during after hours. I left a message on the Doctor Vitali's emergency number, but told him not to hurry in, as the emergency was mine, without pain or blood, and wanted him home with his family. Sure enough his Office Manager, Leanne, phoned me first thing Monday morning and scheduled me in that afternoon for a consult. After the consult it was decided that a bridge was needed as both front teeth were in turmoil. This was shocking to hear, but I have faith in this man, from past experiences; yes, was a bit frightened, Both teeth were removed on Holy Thursday and the Monday after Easter, I had a bridge with beautiful teeth. PAINLESS and secure. It had been a long time to eat something with such comfort and normalcy. I forgot what that was like and so very thrilled beyond understanding how he made this happen, but it is truthful. I am so happy., Dr. Bondar's staff has to be commended also, just has to be. Leanne works her magic with running the office and accommodating their patients with regular appointments and those with emergence. I feel really comfortable with her at the helm, always wanting to help and please in a sincere kind and caring way. Federica and Shannon are the doctor's Assistants and where does he get these personal, capable staff members is beyond me. Their gracious persona, and for real caring attitude is very comforting. They made me forget what I was there for. I am scheduled for a cleaning with their Hygienist and have not yet met her, but I've seen her usher her patients out with warmth, and genuine feelings of care, so I am sure, she will be added to my happiness with Smile Design.
