Dr. Zanni is fabulous-- as a dentist, as a doctor, as a compassionate caregiver. New to the area, I had no dentist yet when a front tooth broke unexpectedly on a Sunday night. I found Dr. Zanni on google and called his emergency phone number. To my surprise, he answered after 2 rings and began helping me immediately, despite the fact that not only was I not a patient of his, but a total stranger. Although he was out of town, he offered to see me after office hours when he returned the next day. As promised, he met me at his office, took a meticulous cast of my teeth, and by Tuesday afternoon--less than 48 hours after my tooth broke--he had created a new one for me with dental bonding. It was such a perfect piece of work that you'd never know that the tooth had broken at all and that half of it was not my real tooth. I was relieved, impressed with his skill, and very grateful for his kind, swift, successful solution. Later in the week I returned for a long overdue cleaning and received a top-notch dental evaluation from Dr. Zanni that provided me with far more information and insight about not just my oral health but how it related to sleep and headache history than I've ever had before. Dr. Zanni is a personable, caring, and thorough doctor, and I'm very glad to have found him. As I run my tongue over my nice clean teeth, I realize how grateful I am to have such a skilled dental team. Dr. Jerry A. Zanni in Marblehead has been my dentist for over 20 years and every time I visit his office, I make him promise to NEVER retire. He is a dentist who sincerely cares about his patients' dental health and comfort level during all procedures. He is consistently developing professionally with improved techniques and "pain free" ways to repair, maintain and promote dental health. I brought my 3 year old daughter to Dr. Zanni for the first time this week after she complained of pain following a tooth injury. He agreed to see us that same day (a Saturday!) and immediately quelled my anxiety about the injury. Dr. Zanni's lovely office manager followed up with us early in the week, and our X Ray appointment also went off without a hitch. Dr. Zanni's dental practice is just the best there is. He is very personable and really listens and makes me feel very comfortable. He even has this new 'single tooth anesthesia' that only numbs just the tooth he is working on, and the rest of my face isn't numb. It's great; I can go out and eat right away if I want to -- no more rubbery face and drooling! And I never felt a thing! His staff are always very friendly, warm and welcoming. Dr. Z has been my dentist for over 25 years. I have moved a few times since then but continue to travel to Marblehead for appointments because I have that much confidence in his expertise. For years, he has been treating me for TMJ, going out of his way to find the most up-to-date information and treatments, even going so far as to buy an ultrasound machine!
