Had such a great experience from beginning to end. I booked through ClassPass the 90min Body Sculpting treatment. The front desk manager did a fantastic job of explaining how it would go. 60mins of body sculpting with the wood tools and cupping then 30mins of infrared sauna (in a different room). The massage therapist was wonderful. I asked her to relieve the tension in my neck before she started the thigh body sculpt. I nearly melted on the table when she used the hot stones on my back it felt so great. The body sculpting was awesome, left no bruising and I could see a difference when I got home. I truly enjoy my time here. I actually found this place on Groupon and took advantage of the deal that was offered. I really REALLY enjoyed my 60 minute massage with hot stones. It was TRULY amazing! The hot stones were decent in temperature, my masseuse was great. She wasn't too soft and wasn't too firm, it was just right. Came here for the first time today - had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with complimentary hot stones with Leonardo. I found the studio via Groupon but found a better deal through their website ($75 for 90mins vs $60 for 90mins). Called the business directly and they were quick to answer and made scheduling easy - I was seen the very next day. Finding the location was a bit if a challenge, it's around the block and there's a parking lot on Kingswood (off 34th). They're upstairs and the building directory is in the center entrance of the building. I was a few minutes late (see difficulties above), however, it was not an issue. I was quick to be seen and was offered complimentary hot stones. Leonardo was polite and made sure I was comfortable. He checked with me to be sure the pressure wasn't too much (I'd chosen "firm" for my deep tissue massage). I'd never had a hot stone massage before and it was honestly a great touch. At first I thought it was hot oil before I realized it was a small stone. I'd asked for special attention to be paid to my neck and it was, as well as my shoulders and back. I had a full body massage with a bit of stretching and it was the perfect mix of relaxing and painful (painful in a good way - I could FEEL the knots being worked). What I will say is that this is not a high end massage studio, which I enjoy. It feels more like a massage at home (or say, like a local small business). You can hear the people next door from time to time - I think a door slammed twice during my session - but the noise level doesn't feel like you're in a public shopping center. I was offered cold water after my massage and emailed a discount for my next massage since I signed up via email. Would definitely recommend! read more

I absolutely ADORE this spa. I have been coming for the past 2 years and the staff is amazing and they have this series package that gives you 30% off. During my last visit I was greeted with a smile by Sara. She directed me to the waiting room where there was refreshments. I ALWAYS book with Alicia because her hands are magic and I'm usually asleep on the table by the end of the service but Quinton is also great too. I didn't have to wait long, but I recommended the Sereiki massage with the stretching add-on. You'll feel like a whole new human. read more

I had been a loyal customer here for years, but I fell victim to their new move. After speaking with the receptionist after the worst massage I have ever had, I learned that despite complaints, management knowingly has been booking appointments without wall insulation. During my entire 90 minute massage, I heard every loud conversation from the business on the other side of the wall and in the lobby. After politely requesting a refund or reschedule for my terrible experience, management refused because my massage was a pre-purchased series massage, and thus non-refundable. I am so sad to no longer go here, but I refuse to support a business that will treat their loyal customers with such money hungry, greedy, and just plain unethical business practices. read more

I have been here a couple times. I have gotten the serenite massage and the rain drop massage. Both were fantastic! The check in process is quick and simple. I never have to wait more than a few minutes. All of the staff I've encountered have been pleasant and friendly. They provide many different services. The location is convenient and very clean. We came in with a Groupon for our anniversary but they never treated is like we were using a Groupon. The location is inside of an office building but we are not ones to judge. We were greeted at the front desk and goven forms to fill out what areas we wanted targeted or avoided. A few minutes later we were led to a room and given time to change. I really like the fact that they double checked with is what our problem areas were and if we wanted any areas avoided. I believe they were a husband and wife duo. We were both so relaxed, didn't want it to end. After getting dressed we were offered cool water while we paid were and advised to continue hydrating thoughout the day. The office is inside an office building. It was clean and the receptionist seemed cool. I don't know if there is really anything I can say about the office/ room itself's atmosphere standing out from the crowd in any way - slightly bare bones, kind of what you'd expect from a price range of approximately $60 for a 60 minute massage (the approximate Groupon rate). What lost a star is, my massage with Roy was just ok. He wasn't very good at those lymph-moving, follow-through massage strokes that I look forward to from a massage therapist (maybe that's just me, but it's important to me and I can't remember ever being as dissatisfied with that before). He also spent a lot of time digging thumbs directly into painful pressure points even after I repeatedly yelped in pain, told him it really hurt, and finally had to request he stop doing that. Although I might come back to Serenite for the same price, I would not have another massage with that specific therapist. read more

I had a facial and it was far from professional. The Esthetician (im not even sure if she was an Esthetician) cleaned my skin, put a mask on my face and left the room for 25 minutes. She came back and removed the mask and that was it. No steam, no face, neck or arm massage was performed and no extraction. The mask made my skin soft but I could by a mask and put it on at home and lie down for 25 minutes. I was expecting at least face massage and extraction to be included Which is basic of every facial. read more
