I paid 50% up front for a $3k re-screen job (I normally don't do deposits but that was okay as I felt comfortable with the lady who came out). She set my expectations that it would be 3-6 weeks to have the job done which was fair considering COVID19 slowed material manufacturing and we're in Florida where it storms often. When her crew of 3 (2 women and a man) came out, they clearly had a system and were ready to work. They worked the entire time until it started storming. They came back later that afternoon to finish more of the work (they weren't lazy at all!) When the job was done the next day, I noticed that one of the door kits was improperly installed. She immediately went on defense and said that I shouldn't withhold payent. That was never a thought nor a threat and I felt attacked. Every time I called, I felt like I was bothering her with questions and making sure she got my check. If communication was better, I'd give them a 5-star.

American Screen and Aluminum did an outstanding job and I couldn't be more satisfied. I highly recommend them for all your screen needs.

From start to finish, they were excellent to work with! Bobby was very professional when he came to evaluate the damage and provided a written, detailed estimate. The repair work was completed today, and Xavier and Bobby did an excellent job! They took the time to do the job right instead of rushing. They even fixed/replaced parts that weren't in the original estimate and didn't charge any extra. I also had some rope lighting that I never expected them to reattach after the repair work was done, but they did! This is a family run business that takes pride in their work, and they truly care about their csutomers! I highly recommend them. Thank you SO much American Screen and Aluminum!

We started our project and then I changed my mind on the design (so glad I did) and then the city shut down. While the city was shut down, Jon continuously kept us in the loop as to what was going on with our project. Finally once the city opened back up again, he contacted us immediately to let us know they were ready as soon as we were. Strange times we live in but once we opened back up, we were back in business. We were able to get our screen up in a couple of days. The guys that came out were knowledgeable, courteous, and very respectful. During this entire process, the communication was open and frequent. I was very pleased with the finally result and I would work Jon and L.A. Construction all over again. FYI-if the owner reads this, I think Jon should get a raise. Haha but seriously he should. The amount of times I asked him questions and he handled things, I truly believe he is an asset to the company!

The salesman was able to work with our price and made sure we were happy with the situation. The next step is the hardest part, the waiting. We signed the contract in October, and they didn't start building until March. The waiting was very nerve-wracking. Melissa was fantastic, keeping us updated through the whole process. It just felt like the entire process took a lot longer compared to other screened porches. When they finally started, they were able to get the work done in a couple of days. The workers were great, and they were very detailed oriented. The final product was a beautiful screened-in porch that everyone loves. The one thing I love is the kick plates for the screened porch match the house. So it feels like an addition to the home. (They are one of the few places that finance, so they do work with you)

Very disappointed with my experience with Shinedeck Outdoor. The quality of the workmanship has…read morebeen a major concern. The pavers have shifted and lifted, and the finished installation does not look the way you would expect from a professional paver company. When you pay for a new paver installation, you expect the pavers to be properly installed, level, stable, and built to last. Unfortunately, the problems with the installation make me question the quality of the preparation and installation work. Pavers should not be shifting and lifting like this, especially after paying for professional installation. Overall, I expected much better workmanship, communication, and customer service. Based on the condition of the pavers and my experience dealing with the salesperson, I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for quality paver installation. Do your research, get multiple estimates, and make sure you understand exactly how the installation will be done before committing. From 10 different estimates from different companies in the area, this company was the most expensive one. I have no idea why. There is no quality. Shifted pavers and weeds everywhere after sealant was applied from the same company. Now I need to look for another company to fix their shitty job!

I have a dog, and so I wanted to add some fenced-in areas for him to be able to play outside. Initially I contacted SHINEDECK for a quote on pavers installation for a small patio outside my sliding glass doors. Prior to the appointment, I revisited the website and noticed that they also do all kinds of other things, and all of the projects I wanted to do were included in their scope of services. Long story short, I had them install the pavers patio, seal all my new and existing pavers, lay down artificial grass for the side yard, put up a 6ft. solid vinyl fence around the artificial grass, put up a retaining wall, put up a white picket fence for the front yard, and install gutters! I was a little disappointed when I was told that they wouldn't get to my projects for at least 2-3 months, but I was elated when I was notified that they would be starting after only 4 weeks. They got everything done in a week and did an amazing job. They helped my vision for the outdoor space of my new townhouse come to life. Salvador (Sal) did a great job as a sales representative and project manager, providing wonderful solicited advice and keeping me informed along the way all throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend SHINEDECK to anybody with outdoor project needs.
