Initially I contacted SHINEDECK for a quote on pavers installation for a small patio outside my sliding glass doors. Prior to the appointment, I revisited the website and noticed that they also do all kinds of other things, and all of the projects I wanted to do were included in their scope of services. Long story short, I had them install the pavers patio, seal all my new and existing pavers, lay down artificial grass for the side yard, put up a 6ft. solid vinyl fence around the artificial grass, put up a retaining wall, put up a white picket fence for the front yard, and install gutters! I was a little disappointed when I was told that they wouldn't get to my projects for at least 2-3 months, but I was elated when I was notified that they would be starting after only 4 weeks. They got everything done in a week and did an amazing job. They helped my vision for the outdoor space of my new townhouse come to life. Salvador (Sal) did a great job as a sales representative and project manager, providing wonderful solicited advice and keeping me informed along the way all throughout the process. I called them 2 times before even 1 year passed. 1/3 of my pavers shifted, some of them are lower other ones are higher. There isn't sand between most of the pavers. Grass is growing all over thr pavers even after i paid for a sealant. Cant really say anything good about them. I was not impressed from the beginning but I thought maybe I am wrong. Anyway after 1 year and a half I need to look for another paver company to show up and fix their "amazing work". Honestly I regret going with them and should tried someone honest and cheaper, at least I wouldn't feel bad if my pavers looking like shit. I contacted this company a couple of weeks ago and the owner responded that they were booked for the next two weeks, sent an estimate to replace screen panels and if I could wait, he would get back with me once he started working on upcoming schedules. Since the work for us was not critical, I was fine with that. I wanted to get a few estimates from other companies and I emailed them(both referrals from friends). While both initially responded, both ghosted me. As he promised, the owner, Sam texted me with availability for the next morning which I accepted. He gave me a 10am -12pm window and said he would text when they were in the way, which he did. They arrived at my house, around 10am and I asked for further estimates on replacing a couple more screen panels, screws in the base of the structure and the closing mechanism on one door. He and one other worker replaced all of these things in about a half hour or a little more. Since I was paying by credit card, a little later in the day, he sent me a text with a link to pay. All of this work came out to $270. The work was performed professionally, everything looks great, both Sam and the other worker were very nice and I am most impressed with the communication that Sam provided.
