It is the rainy season here in Central Florida Mid-July. The most responsive vendor of all I called was Edwin from Higher Ground Gutters. He showed up on the appointed time, provided a comprehensive evaluation of my needs and created a quote. I accepted. July 5th was the scheduled install day. Higher Ground called with a 30 minute rain delay then arrived as planned. The team of 4 men went right to the task. No cell phone activity, no breaks (other than a few passing thunderstorms) and finished my 2,300 ft. sq. home in under 3 hours. No add-ons and cleaned up. I added leaf guard so would not have to clean out gutters being 70 years old - but they do not work because leaves and cypress debris just piles up on top of the screens requiring my husband (also 70 years old) to have to climb ladders after every storm and clean off the build up of debris and leaves. I called to have this remediated and was told they would come back (at my expense to fix) and also fix low spots in the gutters that were not appropriately installed the first time. I have been waiting almost a year for them to return to fix the problem and no return calls or communication. The scheduled day to "fix" at my additional expense was one week from their inspection of the gutters - but they never returned. I'm looking for another company now to come and fix the problem (at my expense). I paid for leaf guards so we wouldn't have to risk life and limb cleaning gutters but was rudely told nothing can do that for our house by Higher Ground Gutters rep. read more

I needed gutters and called Higher Ground. Edwin came out and checked my home and then walked me through the process. I already had a metal gutter in my pool enclosure that I thought would have to be replaced but Edwin looked at it and said all it needed was some caulking. Now that was nice! Rather than make some extra money by replacing something that really didn't need it, he was honest. So I knew I'd be doing business with him and his company. They were out in a few days, worked quickly and cleaned up, and were finished in just a few hours. The gutters are perfect! And they caulked my metal gutter at no charge and now it's working perfectly too! I'd use them again in a heartbeat. read more

I was extremely impressed with the service, quality of work and value for money provided by Higher Ground. The owner Edwin was very pleasant on the phone and easy to reach. I needed a 14 foot section of guttering replaced due to storm damage. Two other companies quoted me such a ridiculous price over the phone that it was obvious they didnt even want to bother to come out for such a small job. My conversation with Edwin was entirely different and he was very happy to help at a very reasonable cost. His repair crew crew came out on the day and time they were scheduled and even repaired leaks in a couple of seams in other parts of the guttering at no cost. They also did a thorough job cleaning up the area and hauling off the damaged guttering. I have recommended Higher Ground to my immediate neighbors and at least one has already had their gutters replaced with the same outstanding experience that I had. I just wish there was ten star rating - five stars just isnt enough! read more
