My mother was victimized by a Longwood roofing company. Steve Johnson singlehandedly turned my perceptions around. The man is prompt. He's personable. He's efficient and goes the extra mile. Even better, my dog loves him and that dog doesn't love anyone but me and one of my daughters. We lucked out from the perspective of weather. No rain the entire day. The dumpster arrived. The crew arrived just after 7am and completed a new roof on a two-story residence by the end of the day. Punch list items and clean up finished the following morning. Price was entirely reasonable and within $200 of the quote despite the crew uncovering some unexpected roof damage. This how a project should be performed. I rarely give 5-star reviews but if my Mutt could vote, he'd give Johnson Roofing another star. Regrettably, no opposable thumbs. read more

Steve and his crew at Johnson Roofing did a great job replacing my roof! Steve was able to work with a tight timeline to support my house sale. I got 3 quotes and Steve had the lowest price and he was local! Steve is familiar with Hunter's Creek so no issues complying with the HOA rules. I highly recommend Johnson Roofing if you want a smooth roof replacement! read more

Would give 0/5 stars if possible. I see a lot of great reviews for this business, but it seems I'm not the only one this has happened to over the years. Disappointed by the lack of communication. I called for an estimate several months ago. Steve was very prompt in coming out for the inspection, however there was no follow-up. I never received a quote back, even after reaching out to remind him I was still awaiting the quote. read more

If you're too busy for a project, please be direct with folks instead of ignoring their attempt to reach you. It doesn't look good... 2/27/23 Follow up. Thank you, Steve, for taking the time, and effort, to figure out what happened. Most businesses don't even attempt to correct a problem or complaint, but you did. This shows great character and honesty, which is refreshing and what customers hope to find. It was nice talking to you. read more

Johnson Roofing put a roof on our house a few weeks ago, and I'm late writing this review. The experience went well, save a couple of weather issues and we have a new roof!! Steve at Johnson's Roofing is a straight and honest man. Gave a full explanation of how they do things and what to expect. The roof came out perfect. His crew was excellent and did a fantastic clean up job - I didn't find one single nail after they left. Highly recommend this company. read more

We had a great experience with Steve and his crew. They did a great job with our total roof replacement and the price was competitive. It took a little longer because of weather, but Steve communicated with us every step of the way. This was the first roof we did as homeowners, and Steve explained and helped us with every step. We're so grateful! Steve also coordinated the removal and re-install of our solar pool heater too, which was very convenient. For reference our shingles are Atlas Pinnacle Pristine in the color Pristine Oyster. read more

Johnson Roofing Orlando - Roofing Near Me - Longwood, Florida

My roof was replaced by Johnson Roofing Orlando just over five years ago. At the time it seemed like a decent price, good craftsmanship etc. But recently I had some issues with the roof and have been trying to contact them to have them resolved. specifically two leaks were pointed out to me by another contractor performing electrical work in my attic. So obviously I should contact the roofer that installed the roof. I have left three voicemails, reached out by email and contact form on their website with no response. I ended up having another roofing company quote me on the repairs needed and it totaled $4800. Essentially the issue is Johnson failed to install flashing where the roof butts up to a wall, and then there is a large area where the 30 year shingles I purchased are already trash and no longer hold back moisture. I would not pick this company for your needs because they will not be there to back up their work. Update: Johnson Roofing has responded to this review, not sure where the disconnect is but I have responded to them via the email they provided. I had tried to call them earlier today, but again was received by a virtual assistant informing me to leave a voicemail. I do appreciate the response and hope to have this remedied. Update: Spoke to Steve at Johnson roofing, he ended up coming to my home and looking over my concerns. We talked about potential repairs and he scheduled to come back out. Today he repaired the issues. Always personable and prompt. The issue from the beginning was just a misunderstanding. Johnson roofing is a great choice for your roof. read more

Hey Steve, thank you for repairing the leak before the raining season starts. It really helps lift the spirit. Wish you good day everyday.

Johnson Roofing did an outstanding job on the roof, so much so that the building inspector asked who did it. Steve was a pleasure to work with and went out of his way to get the job done on time and budget. I would absolutely recommend Johnson roofing if you need a roof. read more

Steve thank you for reaching out to me again to apologize and how to get things right. I am reconsidering my review, because I believe in second chances and your willingness to make this right, and recognizing speaks volumes of your character and the person you are. We all make mistakes its the way we choose to make things better and I commend your attitude. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to verify your workmanship because I received your quote late, im sure your company would have been my choice, your efforts to change my mind and offer me help speaks for itself and I have no doubt that a person with an attitude like yours also delivers outstanding workmanship. Wish you the best! read more

As a first time homeowner, navigating roofing companies for a roof replacement, I was overwhelmed. Steve and Alison with Johnson Roofing Orlando were amazing from start to finish! I couldn't have asked for a more organized team. With all the horror stories I've seen in the news, I was beyond thankful with their honesty and professionalism. Not only was everything done when promised but they would even arrive early to appointments. Pricing was the best in town! No inflated costs and all possible pricing scenarios were discussed ahead of time. Will definitely be a customer of Johnson Roofing Orlando for life! read more

We decided to replace our 16 year old roof before we began to have issues. We obtained quotes from five roofers. Although Johnson Roofing was not the lowest, they were competitive. Steve Johnson answered all my questions and concerns. He took the time to explain the materials and process in removing the old roof and replacing it to the latest code requirements. Their roofing crew was very courteous and professional. He also made recommendations regarding the installation of gutters for proper drainage. read more

Upon seeing all the positive reviews, I was fairly sure that Johnson Roofing was the best choice. Then after meeting Steve, I was certain. He is straightforward, no sales double-talk, and will answer questions and explain everything thoroughly. Steve answered texts and calls promptly and tried his best to move things forward while dealing with daily rainstorms. When he and his crew were able to begin, they arrived at 6:30 a.m. and worked all day, stopping for rain, then going right back to work. They were basically done in one day, but were back early the next morning for final touches and clean up. A very professional job from start to finish. I have peace of mind that the materials and workmanship on my roof are the best. The price was reasonable as well. Very happy with Johnson Roofing and will highly recommend to my family and friends. read more

Johnson Roofing didn't do any work on my roof. They're getting a five star rating because Steve Johnson was kind enough to come and look at my roof. He explained the appearance I was concerned about. Had he not been honest, he could have tried to sell me unnecessary repairs. I appreciate his time and honesty and will be calling next time I need roofing help. read more

I had my roof done with Johnson Roofing in April 2022 and they did a great job. Roof looks great and Steve was super easy to work with. Our job had some complication in the leadup as we have solar panels and needed to work with the solar panel company to get them removed (we had to use solar panel company contractor, per lease) which caused delays, but once we/Solar panels were ready Steve and his team came in quickly after that and got the job done correctly. read more

Johnson Roofing did give us the best price and did do quality work. 1st Review If I could give less than one star I would. I contacted them and we set up a consult. Very professional at the consult but then I never I never heard from them. I reach out via messenger here on yelp and finally got a quote. Nicest business and owner to deal with ever. Steve, the owner, quoted an excellent price even lower than I had expected and did exactly what he said would be done at the quoted price. The roof looks beautiful! The installers were very efficient, did extremely efficient, fast work and everything was cleaned up each afternoon leaving my yard the way it was before they arrived. I am so pleased with Johnson Roofing Orlando; I gladly gave them five stars. I highly recommend this company. Winona H. read more

When my mother-in-law died in January, one of the first things our family needed to do to sell her house was to get bids on replacing her roof. I am a retired librarian, so the family relied on me to do the research on roofing companies. I spent many hours reading online reviews, and one of the companies that had exceptionally good reviews was Johnson Roofing Orlando Inc. Although we got bids from a total of four roofing companies, Steve Johnson of Johnson Roofing Orlando Inc. was the only one to offer 130 mph architectural shingles with an exceptionally good warranty. Additionally, Steve came in with the lowest bid--which was $2,000.00 less than the next lowest bid. When the other companies were given a second chance to provide the same higher quality shingles and warranty at a lower cost, they were unable to do so. Steve Johnson is experienced, friendly, and knowledgeable. He provided our family with a high quality roof at a very reasonable cost. We highly recommend Johnson Roofing Orlando Inc. read more

Phenomenal company, workers, customer service; I cannot say enough positive things about Steve Johnson and his team! I had damage from the hurricane the people I previously had lined up to complete my roof were unable to do the job. Mr. Johnson worked tirelessly to accommodate my situation. His crew was FANTASTIC! Polite, courteous, efficient, thorough, and phenomenal in every way. And all for a fair rate! It's amazing to find a company with family values whom you can trust with a job you know nothing about, and to not feel taken advantage of in your ignorance. I feel completely confident in saying you will not find a more trustworthy and caring roofing company in Orlando. read more

I can't say enough good things about Steve and Johnson Roofing. We had some unique requirements with time and payment and he was always there to help us get where we needed to be. I have officially found the one and only roofing contractor that I will use moving forward. After making countless calls and meeting with several different companies, I finally decided on Johnson Roofing to fix the wood rot in my attic.
