Dr. Rose at Serenity Holistic Vet made a very difficult day having to say goodbye to my girl Chessie a very special, caring and compassionate experience at home so Chessie was where she was most comfortable. Dr. Rose was gentle during every step and I really can't express my gracious gratitude to her enough. Dr. Rose was my angel today for Chessie ...

I am so happy I found this place. Going to regular vets I was left unsatisfied and my dog getting the bare minim of help. Throughout the years I've always felt western vets provide bandaids for most problems where as Serenity provides real help and solutions. The space and people are so welcoming and took great care of my pup. I am doing weekly adjustments and laser for my dog and I have no doubt this is going to help much better than anything else I've tried. Going in on my first visit I was expecting to pay a fortune but to my surprise their prices are realistic and fair. Thank you Dr. Rose ask staff for proving such a wonderful clinic.

This vet has helped my cats with Stomatitis and FIV when my conventional vet has pretty much given up. I highly recommend them (I will explain into detail below if you want to read the details). The staff is professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable about what they do. The office is small but clean and always has a calm and welcoming atmosphere-and that's even when there is more than myself there. They have two exam rooms (one is in the picture) and both have low beds for your pet. The decor is minimal but pleasant. Floors are concrete and it seems that my cats love the cool floors. The initial consultation may seem a bit expensive (over $150 when I first took my cats) but I would definitely say it's worth it. My biggest complaints are that I wish they were closer-it takes me nearly an hour each way from the Hemet area to get to them. And I wish I had found them much sooner. The most important thing I would like to suggest to someone that is new to holistic treatments is this-don't expect immediate results. Be patient. Sometimes it takes a while for treatments to help in such a way that we (the humans) can see. I'm so glad I have been patient although the staff can confirm I've gotten impatient at times. We want to see our furry companions feel better immediately, not in a month or more. Violet (the gray cat in the pics and wearing the goggles) was the first cat I took here. She was diagnosed with stomatitis around October of 2021. She was a mess-wouldn't really eat, her mouth was constantly red and infected, and she was just miserable. My conventional vet prescribed steroids to help with the swelling and suggested extracting the majority of her teeth. I was against pulling her teeth as prior experience had told me that it does no good in helping the disease, and so I waited. We tried all sorts of things I could find on the internet and the vast majority didn't help. Her steroid use was constant-sometimes a daily dose just to get her to eat. Seven months later I gave in to my vet's recommendation and we had her teeth pulled behind her canines. And guess what? It didn't help. She still needed the steroids far more often than she should and I was left scouring the internet for something else. I found a set of products that helped us get her steroid use down but it was still a weekly thing. I finally found Serenity Holistic vet on the web and made an appointment. It was suggested by Dr Rose that we start Violet on laser treatment around her mouth and we did so. I take her in as often as I can but with the hour drive each way it's not as often as I would like. Dr. Rose also prescribed a Chinese medicine and a supplement. She has been on this and the laser treatment since her first visit back in May and I'm excited to say I'm really seeing results. She's acting more like her old self and her best run without steroid use was nearly two months! The second cat I took in was Mr. Sniffles. He's an outside stray that adopted me a few years ago. At some point of being outside he contracted FIV and my conventional vet has many times hinted that euthanasia was the best course for any FIV cat. Before I took him to Serenity Holistic Vet I was giving him immune support as well as a thyroid support. He was surviving on my treatment but not thriving. He was extremely underweight, his coat was mangy and dull, and he would get flare ups of an upper respiratory problem where he would sneeze so much that he would get a bloody nose. He's only been to Serenity Holistic Vet once, back near the end of August and Dr. Rose recommended we do some bloodwork since it had been quite a while (conventional vet didn't suggest more bloodwork since we knew what his problem was). The bloodwork revealed some other stuff and Dr. Rose has gotten Mr Sniffles on a couple of Chinese medicines and a couple of supplements. It's only been a little over a month but it seems like he's gaining some weight-finally! He's still sneezing and gets his bloody nose but perhaps not as often. As I stated before-be patient for results. The last cat I've taken is Butch. He was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer by my conventional vet. I got him into Serenity Holistic Vet within a couple of days and Dr. Rose got him started on some Chinese medicines. I didn't expect a miraculous recovery but was just hoping for some more time. Sadly, about a week later he crashed and passed. I really think we got him into the conventional vet and had him diagnosed too late to really do any good-it was that far advanced. I include this example to illustrate the importance of being realistic. Serenity Holistic Vet is great and I will continue to take my animals there but they aren't able to create miracles. Okay, my Violet is pretty close to a miracle since I've tried everything else but hopefully you understand my point.

Dr. Rose and her staff are amazing. I have a seven-year-old German Shepherd having issues with his hips and arthritis. I took him in for an adjustment and now we are trying acupuncture. The results are phenomenal. I feel like it's a better alternative than traditional vets that always want to push x-rays and bloodwork . My dog is responding very well to the treatments . I called to make an appointment and they returned my phone call right away and were able to get me in immediately. They are very compassionate and their follow-up care is awesome. We are going back for our second acupuncture treatment tomorrow. I can tell my dog actually is looking forward to the visit. I would highly recommend this business if you're looking for a caring and compassionate vet that will accommodate your choices. Dr. Rose is simply amazing. Thank you Casey Burns

Our pup is a 9 year old lab mix named Mace. He's been dealing with severe allergy issues his entire life to the point where his entire body was covered with raw sores and missing hair. He would get infected and licked constantly. In an effort to help him, we tried EVERYTHING...visiting every "specialist" in the valley, paying for expensive allergy testing, rX diets, antibiotics, steroids, shots, diet changes with homemade food, raw food, slowly changing types of foods, medicated baths, etc. We spent thousands and thousands of dollars to do this, and yet, Mace never got better, only worse. This went on for YEARS. We were feeling defeated and it hurt to see our poor little pup in such a miserable state. Then came along Dr. Samantha Rose! She spent time with him, learned about his history, and really dove into trying to help him. She adjusted him, did acupuncture, instructed a new bath regiment, had us go to a "cooling blood" type diet to help reduce inflammation, special Chinese herbs, amongst other things. It's important to note that the improvements didn't happen overnight, but Dr. Rose and us stuck with it and never gave up. EVENTUALLY, we were able to find a manageable treatment THAT WORKED!! One of the things we believe had a big impact was a "fecal transplant" which helped our dog create good gut bacteria. The mild probiotic shampoo baths help, along with the fish diet and a small dose of Apoquel and fish oil all seem to work together perfectly for Mace. I'm happy to report that Mace has been living an amazing life for the last year and his coat is shinier and softer than it's ever been before. It seems we have found the magic recipe for Mace! Everyone compliments how gorgeous he looks and feels, and he's back to being a happy dog, super playful and energetic! I honestly cannot believe the transformation Mace has had, and the positive effect it's had on me too! If you're looking for a vet that cares about your beloved pup as much as you do, look no further. Dr. Rose is all about the love, results, compassion, science, and Eastern medicine (all in balance) needed to help you with your pet needs. Her prices are fair, office is professional, and overall I give this business 5 stars, although I'd give more if I could!!

I unfortunately didn't make note of their names, but they quietly knocked on our door as my family sat around feeding Lola some whip cream and chocolate. Needless to say, I got a second opinion, and I did have to put my dog to sleep because the other doctor asked why x-rays were never taken. Apparently he had bladder stones and one lodged in his urethra , his liver was enlarged and something was going on with his kidneys and I felt at that age it wasn't appropriate to put him through all the pain and suffering of surgery!!!. I don't recommend this animal hospital as maybe if they would've caught it sooner I wouldn't have had to make this decision. It breaks my heart to think that waiting and wrong diagnosis was a problem that caused my dogs short life. The staff in Front was quite rude and they took me as a walk in so I had to wait several hours to have my dog seen who was not feeling well. Do your due diligence get a second opinion if you are not happy with the first one. I am not saying this because I am angry or in pain with the grief of losing my best friend. As Nala approached 9 months old, she began showing signs of reactivity toward people and other dogs, especially on walks. We couldn't have anyone new come into our home without her barking, growling, and displaying dominant behavior. Walks became stressful--she would lunge at certain people wearing hats or sunglasses and at other dogs. We were starting to lose hope and knew we needed guidance to help Nala trust us and feel secure. We reached out to Emily, and from her very first consultation, we knew we had made the right choice. Emily arrived calm and relaxed, allowed Nala to approach her at her own pace, and immediately showed us how Nala should properly greet people. From that moment, I knew Emily was the perfect trainer for us. We've been working with Emily for 3 months, focusing on how Nala approaches people entering our home, and the progress has been incredible. Nala is now a very obedient dog, and we feel confident managing visitors. Walks were our next challenge, and Emily guided us through trying different collars, learning how to use our body language and tone of voice, and properly using the leash and collar. She emphasized praise, play, and rewarding Nala when she succeeded, which helped release her energy in a positive way. We have since enrolled in group sessions to work on properly introducing Nala to other dogs. Thanks to Emily's guidance, Nala has truly transformed into a completely different dog. Emily gave us the tools to feel confident, comfortable, and capable as dog owners. She doesn't waste time--she gets results while ensuring we understand what we're doing and why. We are so grateful for Emily and will absolutely continue working with her as we keep practicing and doing our homework. She is truly amazing, and we owe Nala's progress to her dedication and expertise.

Most importantly, she's helped me grow--into a more confident, peaceful, and capable handler. What truly sets Emily apart is her compassion. My dogs don't just tolerate her--they adore her. The excitement and joy they show when she arrives is real, and it speaks volumes about the kind of person and trainer she is. Her love for dogs is genuine, and they feel it. However, there were some not so great things or improvements they should consider. Initial call with the lady to schedule was alright. She honestly didn't cover much of information, I felt like I had to ask her a lot of questions that she initially didn't mention. If she can slowly just go over from start to finish, it would've eased my mind a little bit more during this horrible time. In details... I know this is a business, but also this isn't something people go through every year (hopefully). The doctor came and she was very understanding of the situation. It felt like she was genuinely sorry for what we were going through as she also lost hers not long ago. I do wish that she would've stepped outside the house to give me little more privacy, but it is what it is. Im sure I could've asked. She did her best in the circumstances. Now, the worst part of this experience was the picking up the ashes. It took me 1 hour round trip to get there and it took 2 seconds to get her back and leave the place. The lady came out with a brown bag and hurried me out the door. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but that wasn't it. I was dumbfounded of like what just happened? Can I at least take a moment to open the bag to see what's all inside? Take a moment to just take it all in that I'm picking my child up as ashes? It felt like 'ok, you paid me, now you can go' vibe. It would've been nice to just take a moment instead of being rushed out. Also not sure why they don't offer drop off, I know a lot of people would pay extra for that so at least they are home when they receive the ashes back and go back to cry all they want at home. I really do appreciate what this company does, but there are something that need some improvements.
