I am so grateful for the care and compassion Dr. Conner showed us when she came into our home to help Timber pass peacefully. She was genuine, compassionate, and truly took the time to be present with us. She never made us feel rushed and allowed the process to unfold naturally, which meant so much during such a heartbreaking moment. I especially appreciated that she uses propofol to ensure a deep plane of anesthesia before administering the final injection. Knowing that Timber was completely asleep and unaware of what was happening brought me a tremendous sense of peace and comfort. The entire process was smooth, gentle, and peaceful, and I am incredibly thankful that Timber was able to be in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by the people who loved him. Thank you, Dr. Conner, for giving Timber such a peaceful goodbye and for treating both him and our family with such genuine kindness and compassion. read more

We had to unexpectedly put our ten year old Husky down about a week and a half ago. She had been perfectly healthy her entire life, and about two weeks ago she started acting really lethargic. After days of vet visits, we found out she had a tumor on her spleen, blood had leaked into her abdomen, and cancer had spread all throughout her organs. The vet said there was nothing they could do and that she needed to be put down. My husband and I had had her since she was 6 weeks old and we did everything with her and her little black lab sister (hiking, camping, dog beach, etc.). We expected to have several more years with her and were completely and utterly devastated that we had to put her down. Tranquil Tails went above and beyond. The doctor and the technician arrived at our house and immediately got down on the ground with us and pet our dog and spoke to her with such kindness and love. They were so soft spoken and gently explained the process to us. After sedating her, we were given time alone to say our goodbyes. After she passed, they discreetly covered her up and took her to their car on a gurney. They gave me a hug and sincerely told me how sorry they were for our loss. A week and a half later, a nice young woman hand delivered a very nice box to our home filled with our dog's ashes, a clay paw print, fur clippings, a nose prints and a nice letter. They made such a difficult and heartbreaking experience easier and I could not be more grateful to them for the love and care they provided. read more

Our little pup has been going downhill health wise over the past 6 months. Her eyesight started going, then her hearing, she was getting lost in our living room. Eventually she started having seizures and cognitive decline. Friday night she couldn't walk after a seizure. I looked for less expensive options but 2 weeks out was too long for Lola. So, I reached out to Tranquil Tails and they responded within an hour and scheduled us for the next day. I unfortunately didn't make note of their names, but they quietly knocked on our door as my family sat around feeding Lola some whip cream and chocolate. They came in and calmly explained what was going to happen and lengths of time. After they gave her the sedative they walked away for 10 minutes to give us our last moments with her. Moments after the last medication was provided, she was at peace. We are so thankful we found Tranquil Tails to provide such a calming experience for Lola and our family. And the price, well worth the amount of peace to say goodbye to Lola in our own home on our own terms. read more

Very compassionate people. My dear fur baby passed away a day before they were scheduled to make a home visit and they came out and gathered her the next morning. They were so respectful and compassionate, completely professional yet emphasized with my grief. And then, a week or so later delivered my dear friend back to me at my home. Even then I could feel the sympathy and empathy for me as I received my beloved furbabies remains. I hope I never have to use them again but I highly recommend them and if I ever need to use them again I would do it in a heartbeat. read more

Our 11 year old Lab was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Once the decision was made that humane measures were in order, we contacted Tranquil Tails. I even rescheduled the appointment for In-Home Euthanasia with no problem. When the day finally came, (07/30/26) Nicole and Dr. Conner arrived. They were so friendly and so compassionate. You could feel the empathy and sympathy from them. They made the whole horrible experience of putting our boy to rest a beautiful and peaceful one. If you are given the time to choose an in-home euthanasia service, they will not let you down. We are so grateful for them. What an amazing experience! Dr. Conner and Chris were extremely professional and their compassion exceeded our expectations. Our Kyra (Australian Shepherd Mix) was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. She had 2 fractures, in pain and couldn't walk well. Dr. further explained the discomfort she could be experiencing and put us at ease that this was indeed the right decision. At almost 14 yrs old, her comfort is what we desired for her, being at home surrounded by her family, in a familiar setting. Today was not a good day, but they made it so much more bearable. This is an overdue review: I contacted Tranquil Tails Veterinary Services after noticing my Dog's health was declining dramatically and he was in pain. I messaged them through their website on a Friday afternoon and less than 10m, they reached out to me. They were able arrive to my house the following morning to perform Home-Euthanasia. Dr.Conner and her assistant were very respectful and performed the procedure with compassion. They explained the procedure step by step. This was my first home-euthanasia. I truly recommend Tranquil Tails Veterinary Services to say goodbye their loved pets in the most respectful way. This was the last gift I could give my dog who shared 14 years of my life: to say goodbye in the best way possible way, leaving Earth in a stress free environment, surrounded by his loved ones. Just a week ago, our family had to make the difficult decision to put our sweet Maui to rest as we knew it was time and didn't want him to suffer any longer. I'm so thankful my husband found Tranquil Tails to help us put our boy to rest. Availability was quick as they were able to see us the very next day. What we appreciate is that they are able to come to your house and go on with the privacy of our own home and not having to bring our boy around when he was in enough pain as it was. Dr. Connor and her assistant, Chris, came over around the time we arranged. During this difficult time, Dr. Connor explained to all of us what the process would be and what to expect. This helped our kids understand what would be going on and what to look out for. Through the whole thing, Dr Connor was so professional and just the sweetest. She took her time and after putting our boy to rest, she and Chris stepped out to give us time to mourn and say goodbye to our boy for as long as we needed. They were also very careful and respectful when it came time to take him away. I highly recommend Tranquil Tails as they were there for us when we needed them during this difficult time. Thank you again, Dr. Connor and Chris, for your kindness and professionalism. It really meant the world to us. read more

Tranquil tails were amazing when I had to euthanize one of our family members from bladder cancer. I am finally ready to make this post. We made the very difficult decision to euthanize our sweet boy after watching him deteriorate for months. Our final wish for him was to let him go in peace, surrounded by his family. We contacted a few places that offer in home euthanasia. Tranquil Tails was, by far, the best option. To begin, their phone representative was extremely compassionate and sympathetic to our situation. The process was explained very thoroughly. They had had immediate availability which was great because we did not want our boy to continue to suffer for an extended period of time. Their pricing was also the best we found. We had a vet and her assistant arrive at our home on time. I wish I could remember their names. They also explained the process to us and made sure all of our concerns were addressed before beginning the process. We never felt rushed. We were given all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and sit with him before he was removed. We got our dog back less than 2 weeks later. He was delivered to our door in a beautiful wooden box that we picked out. This was the first loss for my young children and devastating for us all. Our boy had been in our family for 13 years. Tranquil Tails made this experience as easy as possible for us. I am very thankful we found them when we needed them. read more

I wanted to share a very positive experience with Tranquil Trails Veterinary Services. We had to do an at-home euthanasia for our senior dog who was sick and in pain. We have a child who is developmentally disabled which meant we needed more time to explain everything to him, give him processing time, breaks, and opportunities to say goodbye. Dr. Conner and her Vet Tech, Chris were so kind, patient, compassionate, and supportive. We never felt rushed, judged, or misunderstood about our son's needs. They stayed for almost two hours with us. This isn't a fun topic but I wanted to share this recommendation because I think death is a hard topic for many of our disabled kids and adults to process. Sometimes, they are left out of the conversation all together. It was important for us that our son be included because someday, my husband and I are going to be gone. We feel our pets are such good teachers of grief processing for our kids and wanted to make sure our son wasn't excluded from that learning opportunity because he may have to say goodbye to us someday (though that's a complex concern in an of itself too, isn't it.) It wasn't cheap, but having done in-office and emergency euthanasia for other pets before, it wasn't much more money either. It was so much more peaceful and I'm so grateful for the option. read more

I cannot express my heartfelt gratitude enough for Rena, Nicole and Dr. Conner. From my first interaction over the phone with Rena to meeting Nicole and Dr. Connor at my house on that dreaded day of having to say good bye, there was nothing but kindness and compassion. I never felt rushed and everything was explained to me so well. This was such a comfort to my grieving heart. Dr. Connor even agreed that my sweet girl deserved Reeses Peanut Butter cups for the first time. All dogs deserve chocolate before going to Heaven. We had her TV show on in the background and Nicole had commented how it was a beautiful full circle (seeing how Rhea came to me). They let me take my time with her alone after and they took her away with the gentlest of hearts. Even the after care and delivery of her ashes was so beautifully done. She sits at the front door now which was her favorite spot and I can talk to her every day. All of the personal touches in bringing her home meant the world to me.
