It's been two weeks since my dog came back to me from Paws into Grace. It was a sudden loss that I was grateful for this company to have a time slot last minute for my family. However, there were some not so great things or improvements they should consider. Initial call with the lady to schedule was alright. She honestly didn't cover much of information, I felt like I had to ask her a lot of questions that she initially didn't mention. If she can slowly just go over from start to finish, it would've eased my mind a little bit more during this horrible time. In details... I know this is a business, but also this isn't something people go through every year (hopefully). The doctor came and she was very understanding of the situation. It felt like she was genuinely sorry for what we were going through as she also lost hers not long ago. I do wish that she would've stepped outside the house to give me little more privacy, but it is what it is. Im sure I could've asked. She did her best in the circumstances. Now, the worst part of this experience was the picking up the ashes. It took me 1 hour round trip to get there and it took 2 seconds to get her back and leave the place. The lady came out with a brown bag and hurried me out the door. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but that wasn't it. I was dumbfounded of like what just happened? Can I at least take a moment to open the bag to see what's all inside? Take a moment to just take it all in that I'm picking my child up as ashes? It felt like 'ok, you paid me, now you can go' vibe. It would've been nice to just take a moment instead of being rushed out. Also not sure why they don't offer drop off, I know a lot of people would pay extra for that so at least they are home when they receive the ashes back and go back to cry all they want at home. I really do appreciate what this company does, but there are something that need some improvements. read more

We knew our boy Moose, whom we had since he was 3-5 years old who was now 15-17 needed Paws into Grace. It's not what we wanted (him gone) but it was the right thing to do since he had become ill and wasn't wanting to eat. In contacting them over the phone and sharing our situation, the attendant was extremely responsive and empathetic to our situation. As the date got closer, our poor boy declined quicker and we even had to move the date up. The company was super flexible and understanding and we were grateful they were able to accommodate this move to two days earlier. When the day came, we were certainly sad. When Dr. Benson arrived, she was soft spoken and kind. She greeted Moose and as soon as he noticed someone had walked in he got up and wagged his tail the best he could. This scene brought me to tears because that was the essence of who Moose was as our pet. He loved ALL humans and was always seeking their attention. Dr. Benson pet Moose and gave him love and affection. He received it and then went to his bed shortly after. She explained the process to us from start to finish. She was gentle in her wording and handling of every last detail. We set Moose up in one of his favorite sunning spots in the yard on his bed. And gracefully, Moose crossed over the rainbow bridge. We were given plenty of time to spend with Moose as the sedative worked and then after the final moments we were able to say our final goodbyes. The gentlemen who came to take care of Moose afterwards was soft spoken and extremely kind. He took care of Moose and left respectfully as he came. We are so grateful from start to finish how this went with our beloved boy. We will forever miss him. But the send off he was given will be forever a part of his journey. Thank you, Paws into Grace. Dr. Campbell arrived at 9:00 AM, our appointment time, and gently helped my 19-year-old kitty to Rainbow Bridge as I held Toffee in my arms and said my final farewell to my precious baby girl. Our 19 year old cat's body was finally failing her and it was my kids' first pet. I decided to try an in-home euthanasia instead of stressing the old cat by taking her to the vet. I cannot express my gratitude for the staff here that were so compassionate after the sudden passing of my senior cat, Lady. Her passing came on very suddenly at an emergency vet clinic nearby and they were beyond helpful in helping arrange everything. When I arrived there was a specific bed that was awaiting her and she was handled with the greatest care when she was placed in it so we could say our final goodbyes. Her remains came back beautifully displayed and in a timely fashion. There was never any pushing towards a more expensive package than the one we chose which was also very deeply appreciated. Our experience was from December 2024. Losing your fur baby is so hard and we were dreading the day we would have to consider euthanizing our baby. During our dog's last few days, we did lots of research on in-home euthanasia and came across Paws into Grace. The last few days were filled with unknowns and quick decisions that needed to be made each day, sometimes each hour. During a difficult night, we reached out to Paws into Grace about potentially scheduling a euthanasia appointment. I didn't leave a VM at that time but they texted me back first thing in the morning to see how they could help. Our dog passed away in the following days so we ended up only calling to inquire about their cremation services but they were so responsive both times we reached out. When we spoke to them on the phone, they were so kind and sympathetic, took their time explaining all of the services they offered, and got us scheduled for a same day drop off. Drop off: They were able to get us in for a drop off at their San Diego office. Our entire appointment was private which we really appreciated. They have a separate office area with a different door which they used to handle pick ups during our appointment time. They walked us through the cremation service and allowed us to browse the different memorial items offered as an upgrade or for purchase. Kayla assisted us during this appointment and she was so incredibly kind and warm, making the painful process a little bit easier for me and my family. Cremation Services: They offer individual and communal cremation services and prices are based on your pet's weight. Their cremation service is done as a water cremation versus a fire cremation. The individual cremation price includes an urn, clay pay print, and fur clippings in a clear glass vial. The included urn includes a couple wood options as well as biodegradable options that are intended to be buried. They also had urn upgrade options including one with an insertable photo slot which we decided to upgrade to. The clay paw print is well made and has a strong imprint of our dog's paw. In addition to the clay paw print and fur clipping, we also purchased one of their many other memorial options including an acrylic stand with her nose and paw print and a paw print pendant made with her ashes. Pick up: They kept us updated on the status of our made-to-order memorial items and texted us when she was ready for pick up. We dropped her off in early December and they made it a point to get her to us before the holidays. The pick up was easy and everything was packed up in a nice gift bag for presentation. After Chloe had passed I was told 2-3 weeks, closure to 3 weeks before I get her urn+ashes. They confirmed all the customizations I requested. Exactly 3 weeks I made contact (because I haven't heard about updates since the first week) and was told she was pending the engagement. I was hoping to get her back by Mother's Day but that didn't happen. Days later I made contact again and I think since I kept following up they started on the engravement that day and could pick her up. Basically, it took nearly 4 weeks to get her remains. The day I picked up her urn+ashes I made contact I was on my way. Upon arrival they displayed all their memorabilia offerings and there was alot I didn't realize because when picking out her stuff it's right after they pass and your too distraught to really "shop"). I plan to order more memorabilia. Waiting for me was a nicely packaged bag with Chloe's urn+ashes and the memorabilia I ordered. I cried!! It stung but at the same time it game me a sense of peace and closure. Her urn was beautifully crafted and all the customizations were there (picture slot, her name and some words engraved, an engravement outline of her face, and an engravement of her paw and nose. Ashes are in a sealed bag inside a very secured urn - along with a one of balls. I had asked to separate some ashes in 5 tiny bags so I can spread them at her favorite places (as I believe a piece of her belongs to the places that brought her so much joy and happiness). That was also done. And I asked for a cremation certificate in the event I relocate and need to take her ash on a flight and they provided a death certificate/cremation certificate. I had used one of the bags of ash to create a sterling silver Ocean Pendent custom jewelry. This is important to me - one thing my Chloe and I did was chase endless sunsets (it was our thing). Now, I'll be wearing this pendant when I chase sunsets and she will be closest to my heart. Thank you for doing what you do. Horrible experience trying to contact this company regarding my dog. I totally understand the doctors have processes and procedures in place for dogs that are labeled "aggressive" at the vet, but doesn't that warrant a phone call with the owner directly to discuss your specific dog? Versus relaying information through your front office staff who aren't equipped to respond back to your questions? How are you going to state "the doctor will require specific medicine to be filled and administered to your dog beforehand before proceeding forward" when you can't tell me what the actual medication is AND when you have absolutely no knowledge of my dog's medical history? Having to even reach out to this company is obviously, a HORRIBLE position to be in --- but thank you Paws Into Grace for making it even more frustrating and stressful. Telling me multiple times on the phone that the call is being recorded -- golly I felt like I was talking to Big Brother versus a vet's office. read more

Kind, caring and understanding. My sweet boy had passed away at home from his cancer taking over rapidly. Came to find he passed away when I had gotten up for the day, and when I was able to come to my senses I was able to decide on having him cremated and decided on Paw into Grace. An appointment was schedule for the next day to drop him off. Going into the appointment was very hard but it didn't feel real and I was fairly numb due to the fact that my baby was only 5 years old and was my first. The receptionist was so sweet and knew very well how to deal with people grieving. They had a rolling bed ready for him with a blanket and pillow to make sure he was comfortable and locked the front door so that we could say our goodbyes peacefully without interruption. Then she very kindly walked us through the products they offered to help us remember our baby and gave us our time to decide. I wanted to update my review, still 5 stars!, as I have now had 3 very different experience with them. My first home euthanasia I rushed, as he was seizing and I just wanted it to be over. They were compassionate and wonderful, but I wish I had done tbh da differently at the time and held him. Fast forward to 2024 and both of my 18 year old cats died within 6 weeks of each other. I had initially scheduled a home appointment for one of my cats, however he passed on his own in my arms the day before. It was late in the day so I called and they were helpful on the phone in walking me through how to preserve his body until they could pick him up. They prioritized us and came first thing in the morning and the woman who came was very kind. His sister very suddenly declined from intestinal cancer a few weeks later and they were able to make an appointment for the morning after I called. I was finally able to have a peaceful experience outside, holding her in the sunshine. I hate the thought that I will have to continue using their services in the future, but am so thankful they exist! read more
