I often left feeling dissatisfied, which is what finally pushed me to start looking for another option rather than continuing to settle. I decided to try K Nail Spa, even though it's about 25 minutes away, and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived, I was the only client, and I learned they operate by appointment only, which I appreciated. Dang took the time to evaluate the set I came in with and explained that the previous acrylic had been applied too thick and had started to curve upward. Rather than simply filing them down and risking problems later, he recommended removing the old set and starting fresh so the structure could be corrected. I really appreciated that honesty and attention to detail. He created a new pink-and-white acrylic set with a soft ombré finish and a short almond shape. Most of the appointment was spent carefully placing the acrylic and refining the shape, which resulted in nails that feel light, natural, and well balanced. The final result is elegant and exactly the type of look I was hoping for. The salon itself is run by a husband-and-wife team and has a very personal, small-business feel. If you're looking for a huge spa atmosphere this may feel a bit different, but if your priority is finding someone who focuses on doing careful, quality work, this was a very positive experience. For anyone else in the area who may be searching for a reliable nail technician after losing their regular person, this place was a great find and definitely worth the drive.
