I had a PCA peel two days ago because my face was looking dehydrated and beginning to show signs of aging. My skin peeled slightly yesterday, and when I woke up this morning, I had the most amazing complexion. My skin looks a decade younger. My smile lines on one side are completely gone. The smiles lines on the other side have majorly receded. I literally could not believe how beautiful I looked in the mirror today with no makeup on. I work and go to school full-time, and I overlook that my body and mind require a break to rejuvenate, too. Life can get so busy that I forget that I need that time to rest and do a different activity that allows me to unwind and not think of my long to-do list. Getting a facial as self-care is just a first step that also jumps starts my cellular and collagen production so that I will look well-rested (and younger). It was so relaxing that I fell asleep as Fiona brushed on a mini-facial before getting started on the peel and gave me a coat hanger massage, which focused on the neck and shoulders. I left Skin Deep feeling rested, relaxed and thankful for having taken that hour to be exceptionally kind to myself. The bonus of my skin not showing the world how much stress I am under, and loving what I see in the mirror makes that one hour of downtime worth it. The follow up to maintain this skin is going to take work on my part. I'm going to have to take better care of my skin, and Fiona was able to suggest products and a routine to target areas of concern. She recommended only getting four PCA peels a year, so it's super important that I maintain the effects with at-home care. I'm worth the commitment, and so are the results! read more

She knows her stuff. And while you get a facial, she also treats you to a little massage. Fianna can answer any of my questions pertaining to skin and taking care of it. She has a vast knowledge of the products she uses and is just the best. Do yourself a favor, book an appointment with Fianna and get your face flawless read more

I'm from Los Angeles and my friends and I went to Mammoth for a snowboarding trip. Since I am pregnant I had to pass on snowboarding and find something else to occupy my time. I decided to treat myself to a facial and massage. Fianna was so professional and friendly. I called her earlier in the week and she was already booked but she somehow managed to rearrange her schedule and squeezed me in. We started off with a massage, which was amazing. It was my first "prenatal" massage. She made me feel super comfortable and was still able to provide the amount of pressure that I like. After my massage I had a very thorough facial. I actually haven't had a facial in over a decade, so I asked Fianna a million questions about it and she was so informative. When I head back to Mammoth I definitely will contact Fianna again. Her location was easy to find and had a calming feel about it. Her hands on skills were fantastic and she was so easy to chat with. I left feeling relaxed and revived! Thanks so much! read more

I'm from out of town and wanted to get a Brazilian. Very professional and uses two different waxing techniques to be sensitive to the part of skin being waxed. Not too expensive either, very reasonably priced! Also, very sanitary, I've had a bad experience with that in the past (not what you want when getting a Brazilian...) I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone. I will be back to see her the next time I'm in Mammoth. read more

Best facial that I've ever had!!! And, I've had many in Orange County and Chicago. Fianna is great! Wish I could take her back to the OC! read more

I come to Fiana for massages and it's always wonderful! She knows how to apply the right pressure and listens to your body. She'll work on areas where it's needed. Unlike some other spas where the therapist just goes along with their routine. I finally had the courage to get a chemical peel from her too! She's just awesome. She lets you know what she's doing and what to expect. I probably have given her a Yelp review before but when you're as good as her, all the positive feedback is worth it. You feel relaxed every time. read more

Fianna is a Mammoth Lakes gem. I called her last minute for a brow & Brazilian wax, and not only was she able to fit me in same day but it was also the best Brazilian I've ever had. She is super thorough and professional. Usually for me, Brazilian waxed can be painful, however, I was shocked how painless this experience was. She used both regular and hard wax, and the whole thing worked out great in the end. I ended up also booking an in-home massage for my boyfriend and I later on the trip, too, which was wonderful after several days of hiking and running. I wish I had booked a longer session, the hour was amazing. The pressure was perfect and she helped with a few nagging injuries we've both been dealing with for a long time. She has a lovely demeanor too. You can chat or you can just pass out if you want to. We will definitely book again for future visits to Mammoth. Thanks Fianna! read more

I loved the massages I received here! I was completely relaxed after my visits and would recommend this place to anyone in need of a massage. Fianna is a pro! read more

I called and requested a same day appointment, and they were able to accommodate my request. Yay! My legs and back were killing me after cross country skiing all day. The salon was clean, warm and inviting. Fianna (my massage therapist) was a genius! I have had some recent back issues, and after discussing what kind of massage I would like, she went to work with her strong hands and really helped release the pressure on my lower back, yet it was still relaxing. The prices are very fair, and I will be back! read more

Although we live in the Los Angeles Area we spend a lot of time up in Mammoth during the winter as well as the summer....I had been given Fianna's name by several locals when I asked for a recommendation for a facialist. She was awesome. Professional, her room was clean and nicely decorated. Her knowledge of skin care was impressive. SHe asked me lots of questions before and explained what she was going to be using on my skin throughout the facial. I left with beautiful skin that lasted for weeks after until I was ready for my next facial. I only wish that I was able to see Fianna more frequently but on our next visit to Mammoth i will be sure to book an appointment. read more
