I went to…read moreDr. Waters growing up here, and flash forward a few decades and our kids see Dr. Ragsdale. Everything has been great so far. Parking: Adjacent garage that's usually easy to get a spot in, despite being a congested area with hospitals around. The elevators in the garage look the exact same as when I was a kid and that's not necessarily a good thing. Definitely not made for the claustrophobic; I take the stairs even when hauling my little chubster in a car seat. Office: Nice, friendly and efficient. I've yet to wait well beyond my appointment time. Hours: Another plus, they have weekend hours although we haven't had to take them up on the offer yet. Quality: Top-notch. Great doctors across the board and a place you can trust. While we're fortunate to have only had to go here for check-ups and shots, it's been a five star experience so far and it was an easy decision to come here. The only universal law is that you're bound to catch some kinda germ or bug in the lobby here in the winter, so wash your hands!

This is a lie because all COVID testing for st Luke's is done at 4400 Broadway right now. All of the patients here and doctors and staff are exposed to COVID 19 patients in the common areas and parking garage. The staff at pediatric associates does not think this is a problem at all and were quite rude. They said it was the business of the building manager and st Luke's if they have testing in the same building.

My husband's coworker recommended this place and I called to set up a free prenatal visit to meet the newborn team and see if it would be a good fit. The moment I called to set up this appointment I knew we would be in good hands. The receptionist was so unbelievably sweet! Great first impression! We met with Mindy, the lactation consultant, and Janice Martin, MD. We left the visit knowing this would be the place! Fast forward and now our little girl is 2 months old and I am still singing praises for Pediatric Care Specialist. Mindy was such a vital support for my family during the tough few weeks of attempting to breast feed. She even gave me her home phone number over the Christmas holiday-- who does that? So thankful for her help! We ended up switching to see one of their nurse practitioners, Megan McGown, because she saw us during our first visit and we fell in love! She is so encouraging, gentle, and patient! She answers all our questions-- and we have a lot as new parents! Such a relief to find a place that we feel confident taking our little one to for the next 18 years!

My Baby has her flu shot last April 8, 2018 and her doctor advised us to have her follow up flu shot after a month and was also advice that no need to set an appointment coz it can be done even when you walk-in. My husband's lunch is only 30minutes so he needs to ask his Boss and tell him that he will be late to come back. We planned to bring our almost 9months old Baby today at 1pmish since it is my dayoff and since I do not drive yet my husband picks us up. But prior to go there my husband told me to still make an appointment but the person i talked with on the phone again told me no need for an appointment. Unfortunately, when we arrive in their office and check-in with the oldest(I think) staff there today and told me that they do not have stocks for the said dosage. oh really???? Then I ask her again how come you do not have stock knowing you have in your records that my daughter has a follow up flu shot one month after April 8, 2019 and the office should spare one for her then she said in a very snotty way when we are out of stock we are out of stocks" and our next stocks will be in Septemeber 2019 on which too way far for my daughter to have her follow up flu shot. And she is not even helpful when i ask her if we can do it in other clinic. Second, when I called their office about setting an appointment to make sure that we can be accommodated even walk in and told me no need which she said no need to set then I gave her my daughter's date of birth. By then after the staff pull out my daughter' file she can see actually if they still have a stocks and should advise me so no need to jeopardize my husbands lunch. But no, she didn't advice me. So our plan now is to request for all my daughters record coz we will be moving to other pediatric office. Can't take their customer service staff anymore the fact that its a pediatric clinic they(front desk) should be as friendly as they should. What a terrible experience.

I am often alone with 2 little kids and Megan will always jump in to help entertain my toddler. Stacy always takes time to address all of my questions and concerns. I never feel rushed during our appointments and she always has great suggestions if there are things we are struggling with. Stacy and Megan are always excited to see my kids. My lack of planning does not constitute an emergency for anyone else, and I didn't expect them to drop everything to bail me out... however, I thought, let me just ask to see what they might be able to do... So, I called the office to ask for their help in sending me records, and despite my apalling lack of notice, they accommodated me and helped me by emailing me records! Say what?!?!?! Of course, I had to comply with written authorizations, which is absolutely the right way to go... Ms. Traci was my LIFESAVER today! Seriously, talk about taking good care of their patients! And technically, since we moved out of state, we are no longer patients... and they still went above and beyond! Truly, this place is full of caring, kind and amazing individuals. Dr. Meyers and Dr. Dam have been truly awesome throughout the years, very thorough, patient and detailed, and we miss them very very much. The front staff, Chris and Traci, have always helped us professionally and today, she rescued me. We highly recommend bringing your children here; they are beyond amazing.

But then we got Dr. Kallie Foss, M.D. She is FANTASTIC!!! Her bedside manner is unbelievable, she is very knowledgeable about what is ailing my kids (and trust me, with two severe asthmatics and kids who have upper respiratory infections regularly - her knowledge and trust is key!) We trust Dr. Foss implicitly. In fact, today I went to a walk in doctor and they said my son had fluid in his middle ear. There wasn't anything we could do but wait and see if it develops into an earache, or a fever. His pediatrician said that's crazy! We're trying to get him well enough for 30 days so he can have his tonsils and adenoids out, and Dr. Foss prescribed him an antibiotic and said at the first sign of pain or fever, go ahead and start the antibiotic. The other doctor wanted me to wait, come back in, and go through this whole process again in a day or two. In addition to today, Dr. Foss has been on constant watch for my kids with their asthma and upper respiratory issues. Allergies are crazy with them, too, and she's ever vigilant! She is - in my opinion - the best pediatrician around! Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly likable! If you want to get to know Dr. Kallie M. It is not ethical to say that vaccines pose no risk and no doctor can honestly promise that nothing is going to happen because that is not in their control. The lying an intense pushback against parents who are simply looking to do what is best for their children makes me reconsider all vaccines. Not interested in proactive care and ask a lot of questions to the parents about the children that seem more like you're being judged rather than trying to be helpful. However it's been my experience that if you can avoid LMH then do so at all costs because I have had TERRIBLE experiences there. Lawrence should be able to do better as a college town; why on earth isn't there an office, doctors or clinic that's affiliated with KU Med? Have never understood that! But oftentimes it's well worth it just to drive there in KC, unless you enjoy corporate medicine. Pretty much all we have here anymore. Research hospitals beat for profits hands down IMO.
