I've been seeing Dr. Riekenberg for almost a year and I don't know how to begin to sing her praises. I have chronic back issues and my neck hadn't moved in 70 years! LOL!! She is so patient, thorough, and gentle. She uses a theragun and a few other little gadgets that loosen things up. She also does manipulations on my scalp that feel absolutely wonderful. She keeps such thorough notes and so always remembers what our previous visits entailed. On top of that, I often have to bring my three-year-old granddaughter along and Dr. Riekenberg is just incredible with her! Again, she is so kind, patient and loving. I've been to several other chiropractic offices in the area but they are nothing like First Choice! In addition to everything else, I've never had an issue with insurance (Medicare). The entire process with First Choice is just how medical care should be!

I'll admit I was skeptical but the pain was so strong I figured a chiropractor was better than popping painkillers. After a 30 minute appointment, which included an evaluation and a few taps, (no cracking or popping of bones) I was all better. !! Two weeks later I started feeling the same kind of pain (lower back/hips) so I went back. Prior to this I had never been to a chiropractor but I've been impressed...Not sure what I'll do after the pregnancy but this experience has been eye-opening for me. The office is clean and the administrator (Mackenzie) is nice.

I now have several months under my belt, and feel like I can give a proper review. I am mostly "uncomfortable", I always feel like something is off with my body, and it causes me to have the urge to "shrug" my shoulders, and just generally be jittery, and always feel a little unrelaxed. I noticed major improvements very quickly once I started getting my adjustments. The big eye opener for me, was recently, I was unable to attend any appointments for a full month,,, I didn't even realize how great I had been feeling, until going that month without an adjustment! As soon as I was able to get back in, I immediately felt great again! To be honest, it's hard to imagine going back to that uncomfortable/uneasy feeling ever again! The visits are very quick, taking around 10-15 minutes. They are never painful at all. And in my situation, the relief is instant. This has been the best, and easiest thing I have ever done to take care of my body! I cannot recommend these people enough! Also should note that I am a 46yr old male, packing a few extra pounds. I wish I would have started this journey as a young man, and dedicated my life to this "maintenance" plan! Instead of a "repair" plan... Lucky for us, this team knows how to get you repaired, and set on a maintenance plan to keep you feeling your best! I recommend you make that first appointment immediately! This is really an opportunity to do yourself a huge favor! Your body is a very advanced machine, keep it calibrated and tuned up! You will be glad you did!!

Beside the relief, one of the things I like best about going to Dr D. is her regular review of recent visits and progress before any treatment is given. I've never had that with any chiropractor. I can only say what has worked for me, but if you are looking for someone who has care and empathy as well as knowledge and expertise do not hesitate to see Dr Reynolds. In those two sets of visits, Dr Rissman developed a base line for my lower back issues that were mostly due to age and arthritis. He carefully reviewed the x rays in the first visit. He tried a variety of treatments and we landed on a stretching of the lower back on a decompression type machine for several visits. It helps to rehydrate the discs and with a few treatments, it was much improved. I walk and run a lot and hike and climb in the Rockies often, and four years later it recurred. We tried a few regular treatments and went back to the decompression. A few treatments and I am fine again. What really meant a lot to me were the following. 1- the staff to a person is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. 2- in 9 visits this year, I never waited for my appointment. They have established an electronic record system that knows when I walk in and scan a card. It makes sure that my records beat me to the treatment area and all the notes and pics are readily available. 3 - The paperwork is minimal, and the staff is great at keeping up with my needs between appts. the Doc and the staff allow me to participate in the decisions about me treatment 4. - Finally, and very important in these times, everyone wore masks, keeps a proper distance, and the equipment is freshly cleaned between patients and even more often some times.
