I have been rehabbing my knee for 10 weeks now, and after one Normatech session my muscles felt better able to handle the weight bearing needed for my to walk with out a crutch. I have had a complex knee injury with more surgery to come, and I am hoping to continue to have better rehab by using Normatech through a membership. Atmosphere: The staff are energetic and welcoming. I love the environment and can't wait for my next session! Coffee/Tea offerings as well as a Roku TV remote to watch your netflix faves. I laid with my headphones in and eyes closed and enjoyed the rest and peaceful atmosphere. Pricing: The $49 membership is well worth a daily Normatech session. Especially for someone recovering from injuries/joint reconstruction! A session after physical therapy appointments could be super helpful if you are going through a rehab program. I noticed a SERC not too far and could be great on your drive home. With membership you get 50% all other services. I will be trying cryotherapy as well!

After…read moremaking the appointment I was emailed the new patient paperwork and received multiple forms to complete. When I arrived she apologized for attaching the unnecessary paperwork. Mistakes happen so I wasn't concerned. While checking in we discussed my insurance and copay and the fact it was a medicare advantage plan confirming Dr Hammond was in network. We had a conversation about the copay being $20 or no copay due to Dr Hammond being in network. She assured me she would run my insurance and let me know. The issue occurred when I was checking out and scheduling a follow-up appointment. I was told I owed $200! According to his staff Medicare does not cover the initial exam, only the adjustments. After the fact, I was told "This is for all Medicare patients and not limited to only my Humana Advantage Plan". That being the case, she knew the exam was not covered when I checked in and didn't mention it. This was not a miscommunication but a lack of communication and I feel it was intentionally misleading. Needless to say, I canceled my follow-up appointment and would not recommend this clinic.

I've been seeing Dr. Riekenberg for almost a year and I don't know how to begin to sing her praises. I have chronic back issues and my neck hadn't moved in 70 years! LOL!! She is so patient, thorough, and gentle. She uses a theragun and a few other little gadgets that loosen things up. She also does manipulations on my scalp that feel absolutely wonderful. She keeps such thorough notes and so always remembers what our previous visits entailed. On top of that, I often have to bring my three-year-old granddaughter along and Dr. Riekenberg is just incredible with her! Again, she is so kind, patient and loving. I've been to several other chiropractic offices in the area but they are nothing like First Choice! In addition to everything else, I've never had an issue with insurance (Medicare). The entire process with First Choice is just how medical care should be!

I'll admit I was skeptical but the pain was so strong I figured a chiropractor was better than popping painkillers. After a 30 minute appointment, which included an evaluation and a few taps, (no cracking or popping of bones) I was all better. !! Two weeks later I started feeling the same kind of pain (lower back/hips) so I went back. Prior to this I had never been to a chiropractor but I've been impressed...Not sure what I'll do after the pregnancy but this experience has been eye-opening for me. The office is clean and the administrator (Mackenzie) is nice.
