First, this place is stunning. Too bad you have to go here for medical procedures. I like their…read moreprivate check in offices. Everyone was very friendly and patient. When it was time for me to go back for the procedure, they took the time to stop and tell my mom how long to expect so she wouldn't be worried. I appreciated the privacy of the patient area once you were waiting for your turn in the "machine". I was there for an MRI and the tech was very good at explaining what to expect and they were very helpful in trying to keep me comfortable during the procedure. While, I'd certainly never recommend an MRI for purely-entertainment value, if I have to get one again, this will be the first place I consider. They have an open MRI which seems to be a less common feature in our area too.

The directions on MyChart were flat wrong. (How is it on the "north" side? Signage was terrible. Buzzcut at cardio was gruff and acted like I was at fault for not having been given directions before the procedure. With some exceptions most employees were friendly, but confused. Your merger was badly handled, your employees are still in the dark about many things. My Cardiologist's office staff, (not the professionals) is mostly incompetent, too many patients and some poorly trained employees with attitudes.

We started out with Dr. Carlos Monzon, who retired a few years ago. He was my daughter and son's…read morepediatrician from infancy. We were sad to see him go. But then we got Dr. Kallie Foss, M.D. She is FANTASTIC!!! Her bedside manner is unbelievable, she is very knowledgeable about what is ailing my kids (and trust me, with two severe asthmatics and kids who have upper respiratory infections regularly - her knowledge and trust is key!) We trust Dr. Foss implicitly. In fact, today I went to a walk in doctor and they said my son had fluid in his middle ear. There wasn't anything we could do but wait and see if it develops into an earache, or a fever. His pediatrician said that's crazy! We're trying to get him well enough for 30 days so he can have his tonsils and adenoids out, and Dr. Foss prescribed him an antibiotic and said at the first sign of pain or fever, go ahead and start the antibiotic. The other doctor wanted me to wait, come back in, and go through this whole process again in a day or two. In addition to today, Dr. Foss has been on constant watch for my kids with their asthma and upper respiratory issues. Allergies are crazy with them, too, and she's ever vigilant! She is - in my opinion - the best pediatrician around! Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly likable! If you want to get to know Dr. Kallie M. Foss better, visit her here: https://www.olathehealth.org/our-team/foss-kallie?name=Kallie+M.+Foss%2C+MD&zip=66217

For the first time in my life, I have a Health Care provider system that I am completely satisfied…read morewith. My company switched to BCBS last July and I enrolled in the very economical Spira Care plan - meaning that my options for Health Care would be limited to any of about 6 locations in the city. I was a bit sceptical but liked the price and the ability to immediately being able to change my Dr. and not having a wait. Living about half way between their Liberty and Crossroads location, I chose this one as my primary since I like having great coffee or lunch options in the vicinity pre or post visit! The Pros: They have a private lot so parking is not an issue. The lobby is clean, vibrant with art and modern furniture, good reading material and free Keurig coffee and tea. The receptionists are some of the most friendly folks I've ever met. I have had nothing but professional interactions with all the professionals that I've had contact with - including going above and beyond to assist with issues. Their on-line app for scheduling, communicating and documentation is a breeze. The Cons: hmm... I got nothing. Special Kudos for Janice and Dana for their thoroughness and motivating support for better health! I am praying my company does not change providers next open enrollment.

Quite often, I need to see someone right away, and their regular pediatrician is on call at this location once a week, and I tend to set appointments for the kids to see her here instead of in Olathe by the hospital. (I live in Shawnee, so the convenience of the drive is much better!) The walk in is awesome, the doctors and nurses are all awesome!

I was treated like a junkie when talking about medication. I was medicated and diagnosed with adhd in the past but a 40 mg vyvanse prescription scarred me for life as a middle school aged kid. Is that not the requirement? I even offered to quit, take a drug test after three weeks, and come back. They denied that too. All because Dr Guevara over there is scared of his license being put in jeaprody. You want your patients to tell you guys the truth, yet when they do, it's thrown back in your face. Even Dr Brockmeyer treated me like a 10 year old child. Absolutely rage inducing. Never ever recommending. My whole family is no longer in his patient base.
