I fell Sun and had broken my sternum but the hospital that I had been taken to that day failed to…read morelisten to me about the areas that were in pain so I was sent home and I know that the first 48 hours after an injury is usually the worst so I waited even though my pain seemed to be worse and breathing was difficult I managed to get by until Wednesday and I decided to go to the St. Luke's Hospital in Lee's Summit Missouri and ask for the X-ray for the area that I was hurting from the most and they followed through with my request for further testing and they discovered that I was right. My sternum was broken my unfortunate discovery is still in the beginning of the recovery process but I'm glad I chose this hospital to be seen in. I've been to several different ER's in the past but this has been the best place to go to during a variety of health needs that I have had come up with me. This was kinda funny but I found charging cables out in the waiting room and I was impressed with this because I had been in the other hospitals waiting area after I had been discharged and I was waiting for my ride home and they didn't have anything to help people like that. I've been trying to be very careful and not say the name of the other place but I will be leaving them a review on my opinions on my last visit so if you are trying to use the reviews to see which one is a better option you just might find me there too. But I have been impressed with this place for a while now and it's why I chose them again. They're always looking for ways to make things better for everyone.

The bureaucracy became impenetrable. Patients could not schedule an appointment without waiting months - even in an emergency or when post-hospitalization checkups where immediately needed. Patients could not call their doctors. The Central Scheduling office that handles all patient communication knows nothing about medical care, always says it will be 5 to 6 months to get an appointment, even in an emergency. And, the Urgent Care office is notoriously horrible; even St. Luke's doctors recommend going elsewhere. Since Mike retired it has become infinitely worse. We received a letter telling us we'd been "reassigned" to another doctor - like cattle. However, that was not true. When we called to make an appointment for an urgent issue, we were told we did not actually have a doctor. We would need to schedule a new patient appointment - 9 months later. I scheduled new patient appointments for each member of our family, and the doctor cancelled some of them and did not show up for the others. It's been a year now, and our children have not seen a doctor. St. Luke's management has lost its way. By putting up all these barriers between patients and doctors, they are effectively committing malpractice. I would strongly recommend choosing another primary care office.

These Drs that are mainly students learning but by some of the same people who were serving those complaining are the best Drs around anywhere in the country They are after all just people and they are not perfect but they do try to find a fix for so many patients with a variety of needs just to make sure that they are going to get better and get those are some of the people who complain about everything in life anyway I don't know what happened to have them that could have been so bad they are after all still alive to get the chance to complain about stuff and they make me sick with the selfish attitude I don't like those kinds of people get a grip on yourself would you?

The department is undergoing renovations so the spaces were cramped, but the staff went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible and kept me posted of my lab results and their decision making as things progressed. After 3 years apparently you're discarded and considered a new patient, and every PCP office I called within the Lees Summit and surrounding areas either aren't accepting new patients or they're not scheduling new patient appointments for a minimum of 5-8 months, leaving me without help after severely injuring my back, I was in so much pain, and I needed immediate care, so I made a same day appointment (on a Sunday) at NextCare Urgent Care is Lees Summit (off of McBaine Drive), and they exceeded my expectations in every way. First, you can make an appointment online, and they honor those appointments (no matter how many walk-ins are there before you.) In addition I have received exceptional care. I've been twice in the last 2 weeks, and have had to call in multiple times. They are always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. From the front desk (who is also the R.T./x-ray tech), to the nurse who was so kind, caring and helpful, to the Dr/FNP Thomas Sims, I have received excellent care. I cannot say enough great things about them. If you need immediate care (that doesn't require going to the ER) I encourage you to make an appointment with NextCare Urgent Care in Lee's Summit. You will not be disappointed.

I know of no other skin and vein clinic to compare to, but what I do know is that in the past few months I have seen results with those unsightly spiders that have been stuck on my legs for a while. The staff is friendly and also very knowledgeable. If someone doesn't know they answer they will go out of their way to get it. The doctors, both Fearon and Baker are both nice and personable. I was also impressed that they closed their clinic on Monday due to potential bad weather and road conditions, expressing great concern over the safety of their staff and patients. What more can I say? If you need any vein treatment I highly recommend them. I am aware that they also provide laser treatment procedures for hair, skin lesions and other cosmetic issues, which I am sure they are good for.

Now I have to start over with allergy shots because I have no record of concentration, volume or even of what allergen is being treated by the shots. Also, when going to a new consultation, the brand new doctor said that I was getting not as potent shots from here and that the concentration should be higher. The nurse was not helpful when trying to retrieve my patient data. I should not have to jump through hoops just to get my own data WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
