Our family has been going to this location for many years and we had insurance to cover our treatment without any out of pocket, but things happen and our current insurance was no longer on their preferred network. So with this unknown status my son goes to his annual cleaning and then told his insurance may not cover all the cost and that he would have to pay out of pocket for his services. We live over 1 hour away in Willits, CA and he did not know he would have to pay out of pocket until that day. I always try to guide my kids to call me directly if they feel like they don't know how to make a good decisions without my presence, but he thought he would be taken care of as he has with every visit. Then the office asked if he wanted fluoride treatment and X-rays and most people without insurance would most likely opt out of this unless it's free or minimal cost so he did it with good faith that it would be covered by insurance for some of it. In the end he had to pay out of pocket over $234 for everything and for a young college student working part-time that is sad to have been taken advantage of like that. I then called and spoke with Noelle the office Manager who claims she had something come up and that was the reason she did not return my calls as requested last week. Claims that she spoke with the dentist and just danced around my request for some type of credit back for the misfortune with my son's experience. So now I have to write this bad experience review and it all could have been resolved if they just treated my family like a valued customer, but instead I have to chase them for a call back and turn to Yelp to share our experience. Thanks Noelle and Dr. Chung for nothing...WE WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS OFFICE EVER AGAIN!!!

The process was very smooth and easy once I had everything ready that they required for him to be seen. We were scheduled very fast and the front staff ladies were so sweet and helpful and very informative of everything that would need to be done. Meeting the Doctor (Dr. Hagele) on the day of the appointment who was very informative of the process and the anesthesiologist that would be working on my child and being able to ask questions made my nerves feel calmer and at ease. My son did such a great job after the treatment was done. Recovery nurses were so nice and helpful to us. We couldn't have asked for a better place to have his dental work done.

Leaving me without an established dentist when I really needed one. Getting credible recommendations from friends was my first criteria for finding a dentist. I called a few, and not surprisingly I could not get an immediate appointment. Researching online, I found the offices of Andrew McCormick DDS & Austin Griffith DDS, were voted Voted Best Dentist in Santa Rosa by Readers of Bohemian Magazine. I gave them a call, and I was pleasantly surprised to get an appointment the very next day. They have been gracious and accommodating ever since then. On my first visit, Dr. Griffith spent an inordinate amount of time going over my history, and current dental issue. He listened to my concerns including my fears, he was compassionate, kind, and knowledgeable. And as an added plus, he had a great sense of humor! If you are looking for an experienced dentist who takes the time to listen to you, has good communication skills, is thoughtful, and gentle, Dr. Griffith fits the bill. In addition, the dental staff is professional, courteous, and friendly.
