When you go on vacation, you never know what to expect when someone makes your coffee or food. Quite possibly one of the best lattes I have had. We also tried the quiche, almond croissant and blueberry lemon scone. (It wasn't all for me ). They were all delicious but that's not why I left this review. We had been to just about every store in this town and it would appear no one likes living here. I don't blame them. The ladies at this place all had such a great attitude, were happy and smiling and that made the experience so much better. I would definitely recommend eating here. 10/10!!!! Food quality is on par with pretentious LA brunch spots, with 30% lower prices and 30% bigger portions. Friendly service and food came out quickly. Not sure if they do free soda refills, but they were nice about refilling my son's sprite since it was half ice. Tip: if you get the croissant breakfast sandwich, add avocado and get the bacon on the side (otherwise the bacon + ham will overwhelm the sandwich). Breakfast also comes with a small piece of lemon poppy cake which is a nice treat! Kids loved their smashburgers, though heads up the fries are more of a potato waffle style. read more

Sequoia is OUTSTANDING! I travel to Kernville often and a trip isn't complete without getting to stop at Sequoia. I rave about it to everyone I know and have convinced family to make trips up just to eat there. The bakery is delicious, but it's best to get there early. The maple brioche donuts are probably my favorite item on the menu, but you can't go wrong with anything. I love to pick up a box of all sorts of sweets to enjoy! Besides their baked items, their food is outstanding! My favorite menu item is the smashburger. The burger is so delicious and it comes with these chip shaped fries that are soo good! Move aside in n out, Sequoia's burger is bar none. I also have absolutely loved their quiche. They have a different one depending on what they want to make and it never disappoints. Good breakfast! Came back after getting a chocolate chip cookie yesterday that was AMAZING! Perfect combo of crisp and chewy. Had the croissant breakfast with avocado added. Really good. The maple biscuit sandwich was also good, biscuit a bit dense, but probably necessary to hold the weight of the sandwich. Both came with a little slice of banana bread for dessert. Pet friendly establishment for which we were grateful! Will come back for red velvet cake next time. read more

This little Cafe is Now Open Daily! 7:30am-3pm! They make great Lattes and Iced macchiatos. My daughter's favorite is the chocolate doughnut with sprinkles. They make all the items fresh, the Biscuits and Gravy is my go to-to!! Super soft crumbly biscuits and the sausage gravy is excellent! The bacon on top is a garnish and it's only $5 for the single which is filling! Great cheesecake and Banana bread! They also serve smash burgers and They have quite a few different items for such a quaint place. Service is always quick and friendly. When I found out the little Italian place was gone I was soo sad. But as soon as I stepped foot into this new bakery I was hit with the most amazing scent of cinnamon, fresh bread, and fresh coffee.
