Dinner at Seppe Pizza Bar at Navy Pier in Stapleton. We started with the cacio & pepe cauliflower and spicy vodka chicken rolls, followed by a half mushroom & truffle oil pie and a half regular. Food and service were both very good!

Picked up takeout and the order was ready on time and speedy. Love the crust and the fact that there's a square and circle option. Taking a star away because some of the toppings are an extra $5 which feels a bit much for artichokes and some other specialty toppings. Also, got the cheesy garlic bread but it was more garlic than cheese and mostly bread than anything else, which was a bit disappointing. Bright space next to the urby that has outdoor seating (covered) and clean interior.

Stopped in for lunch on Friday and it was not busy at all. Our sever was extremely attentive and very nice. The have a few vegan options and their prices were decent. For a Michelin star restaurant it lives up to the hype as far as flavors and taste goes. Check it out!

Steppe's has been on our list for a year and we live close by. Finally we made it to the restaurant last Sunday. Overall - Great customer service and food. The young guy who served us was great - he asked for allergy and special diet needs and proceeded to make recommendations. My husband ordered a chicken parm (the sauce is on the sweeter side than he likes, other than that, he loved his food). He also ordered an 8" pizza pie which they were nice to let him order half with pepperoni and half with cheese. The meals were nice and the restaurant is quiet throughout when we were there in the afternoon. As expected, only the people who come by seem to be folks who live in Urby. The restaurant is nice and clean. I just can't wait until they fix up the waterfront at Stapleton to attract more people over here.

Amazing restaurant. Got "The Jimmy" pizza which was absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Affogato was the best I've ever had.

Great attentive service Appetizers were tasty and hit spot, especially the arancini, but the mini chicken rolls were over cooked Had the Aunt Honey and a square with meatballs. Enjoyed the square more than the spicy.

Yummy, Seppe one of the first restaurants in the Urby (and still going strong), they must be doing something right. I've been here a dozen times, everything I've tried here has been delicious. They have an open kitchen concept and the chef enjoys interacting with the clients, giving a very homey vibe. I usually sit at the bar where the bartenders (most of the time friendly) make great drinks, my favorite tequila martinis but I've heard their old fashions are pretty good. We recently came with a group of four, close to closing and they were still accommodating even when we sent back pasta that wasn't cooked fully. They quickly fixed the issue with a smile and with no hesitation. We had the golden beets salad (a must try) , calamari (nice and big), the shrimp and pasta as well as the wild mushroom pasta, everything had a great taste. Come try their hot honey pizza they've been serving it before the hype and boy is it delicious! See you there.

This place is a hidden gem! My husband were looking for a new spot to try for date night in the area. Given the fact that there's not a lot of places to eat in this area and we have exhausted a lot of the other options we came here. Parking is a little tuff but there is a parking garage if you can't find street parking. This a small intimate place. Perfect for a date! I love the fact it's a small menu when there's to many options you kind of get overwhelmed on what to order. The server Raphael was very attentive and gave us enough time to order wasn't pushy which I appreciate i hate feeling rushed. I ordered a gin and tonic hands down one of the best I have in a while in this area . My husband had a figura old fashion it was delicious and made to perfection the ice cube has their name on it which was cool! The price of things I found to be just fine it's quality food you get what you pay for honestly. Appetizers: Meatball sliders are 3 mini meatballs with cheese and basil really good . Great flavor and just what you would want to start your meal . Artichoke hearts are fried and come with a dipping sauce that has a kick. Tasted fresh and also very delicious. We decided to get a 12inch tray (tray is square slices) pizza called the Fresca it was sauce ,cheese, arugula with prosciutto in a wood oven!! What I enjoyed about the pizza is that it wasn't very thick how traditional squares are very doughy. It wasn't thin crust but it wasn't very thick just some of the best pizza I have had in a while and in this area. I then had ricotta cheesecake with pistachio crust it wasn't bad just not for my taste of what I'm use to for cheesecake. I was so blown away by the flavor of the food and the service I had to tell Louie ( I believe he's the owner or manager) about the experience. He was also a very nice guy ! This spot is easily going to become our new favorite spot !

We used to come here often when we lived at Urby. It's been a few years since we've been back-only because we live further away. However, the food is as good as I remember-the pizza especially. Service was great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Attention to detail helped to make the experience a good one. Only thing I didn't care for were my wings, but that was just my personal preference. If you're ever in the area, would totally recommend Seppe for good food and good service!

Tiny, poorly cooked, and overpriced pizza. $24 for the pie I got, which fit in a tiny personal pie sized box. It tasted fine and the ingredients were solid, but it was liquidy and the slices were floppy. This made it impossible to pick up a slice without a utensil or wrapping it up like a burrito. It was a sloppy mess, and the flavor itself was just adequate.

My little family and I came on Memorial Day around 2pm. We were seated right away. Noticed that only one server, but she was doing her thing. She made sure all the tables were good. Most of the tables were families that stopped by for food after seeing the fleets at urby. Pretty small inside, they did have an outdoor area in front, but it was closed (i think due to the rain). Pull apart bread---omgosh! It's a must order. So good--wish it was a bigger portion, but it was sooo good! Def something I'd get every time. We tried the aunt honey/cheese and pesto pie. Lordts. No complaints! The pizza here is A1! I'm coming back to try different pies for sure.

Seppe is a hidden gem on Staten Island, tucked below the Urby apartments. The pizza tray was really amazing & arguably one of the best pizzerias on Staten Island. They also serve pasta and other popular appetizers that looked great. Can't wait to come back.

    Caitlin B.

Would give it 5 stars for the food. It was delicious and so was my drink. 3 stars is for two reasons. First, Service was slow. Our drinks actually came after our pizza did. And the pricing is misleading. The pizza says "up to 3 toppings" for one listing and "up to 5 toppings" for another. So we presumed that meant 3 toppings included, but then we were charged for each one.

There were banquettes along either wall with small tables and ottomans scattered in front of them, providing separate, little areas for each group. Large playing cards were fanned across each table with Jack, Queen, King, and Ace cards each having a menu on its backside. There were bar bites, a spirits list, classic cocktails that could be reimaged with your agave spirit of choice (picture a tequila mojito), and even a custom beverages. The creative drinks were not cheap, coming in at around $20 on average, but they certainly were complex! My La Balacara featured Casamigos Mezcal, spiced pear, Luxardo, orange, ginger, chestnut honey, and a chili tincture. I thought the drink sounded outrageous, but, sadly, all I tasted was that honey, the ingredient of which I was least interested. In fact, the smokiness of the mezcal really did not play well with the chestnut honey, leaving it to taste sort of like licorice. I was not a fan. My companion's El Encanto included Casamigos Cristalino, Lillet Blanc, strawberry-lemongrass cordial, guava, and basil, which sounded herbaceous, but really just tasted like a fancy daiquiri. He enjoyed it, but I found it unimpressive. Our drinks were accompanied by a complementary bowl of spiced popcorn, which was delicious. We had come from an earlier dinner, so the snack was as much as I needed. However, the few larger food items that I saw others order all looked great. While I would go back to Perico to try some other items, I felt like I had had better, more affordable cocktails upstairs at Panela.
