I thought it would be easier here than a department store. Well, it was. I ended up getting help from Marisa, she was amazing! She sprayed fragrance after fragrance and asked the right questions so my son could understand what he really liked. There was no pressure, only helpful advice. After he chose 4 of his top picks she sprayed them on his arms and we left to grab lunch. During this time he was able to narrow it down to his favorite and was confident he chose the right one. We went back to the store and purchased it. It was such a great experience, I'd suggest this business to anyone. Designer Fragrances uses the same distributor as Macys, but Macy's just gets first dibs on what they want. Plus, the prices are around 20% less and there are usually 'buy on get one 50% off' (or something close to that). DF had almost every fragrance we asked to try and at great prices. I was impressed and we walked away happy. Thank you for a great experience!

I was so pleased to see that they carried baccarat rouge 540 and I was shocked at the price that they had it for this perfume usually goes for $375 the store had it for $309 that is a huge savings I was a little concerned also wanted to make sure that The Fragrance was authentic being that there was such a huge price difference. The associate that was working assured me she pointed out that The company has the same distribution as Macy's and all product must be authentic due to being at a Premium Outlet Center. The store had many high end designer fragrances and ness we ones that I had not tried. I had a great experience here. I will be back!

In particular, I went to go get some Mac studio fix powder. The store was busier than I've ever seen any Ulta, which caught me by surprise. It took me a while to find an associate to help. They would make eye contact and keep walking. I finally asked someone to help me color match. It had been years since I used the studio fix and I loved it when I was younger but found it hard to be matched. She tried a few colors on me and decided on one. It looked okay to me but it's so hard to tell in store. She also explained to me that the formulation had changed over the years and it wasn't the same as it used to be. They no longer use talc. She expressed that some people like it, and some people do not. I had no idea so I'm glad she told me. I ended up asking a few other sales people where to find items I was looking for, one pointed in the direction and one actually took me there. I sampled a few items through testers, but decided to stick with just the pressed powder for now. There was a long line to check out, but there was quite a few cashiers and they were opening more as I waited. The line moved quickly and I was able to pay for my item and ask questions about the return policy in case I didn't like the new formula . When I got home, I tested my new product and unfortunately it's a bit orange on me so I'll be bringing it back. Also, I do not like the new formulation it's very different (obviously not ulta's fault) and the coverage is weak so I am happy the employee on the floor let me know. I like ultas selection and sales, the service is hit or miss, but I'll keep coming back for the great deals.
