Think: designer perfumes, bath and body works and high-end skin care products for the ladies - all custom-made - and you've got this delightful little outfit. The story: for a large-ish wedding and various pre-wedding events, we were looking for unique gifts for the ladies that would be useful, stylish and memorable. As way lead on to way, we came across Kyphi - and could not have been more pleased. The Good: we ended up chatting with the owner, to get a better grasp on the offerings, pricing etc. and, pleasantly enough, were presented with less a sales pitch than a "Here's what shea butter is, here's how you use it and this is why people love it" conversation describing the products, what typical packages look like for various events (bridal shower vs. wedding vs. special occasion for wife / girlfriend / mother / sister / friend etc.) and a host of other things. The Better: following the conversation, the owner put together a sample package and sent pics of how it would appear - and offered to send samples of the various scents, to help guide our decision. The Best: the products are fantastic quality (per the ladies), unique and absolutely memorable - so much so that we've returned to help "bling out" other events and use as stocking stuffers. I didn't have my husband's actual measurements, and the shirts I brought to compare were NOT all the same sizes! Dakota was optimistic and up for the challenge! (His supervisor didn't look so comfortable with this idea lol) Dakota spent a good couple of hours meticulously measuring and filling out a form, helped me decide on an obscure color my husband wanted, along with cuffs, collars, monogram, blahblah lol - he was soo patient! That were busy this day and not a lot of staff waking around to eagerly help. Just rushing to get to the next task which is fine. I knew exactly what I needed and this product is usually in the back area. The line was long but moved at a decent pace. The cashier was nice and I got everything I needed without any issues. Like most Ulta locations, it's in a strip mall with other businesses. What I like least about this location is the parking lot is so hectic and chaotic. You can sit in 1 spot for a long time waiting to move. I would return but definitely not during peek hours.

I know that a lot of people have the same idea right when it opens. But I was on hold for 36 minutes before someone answered. That person told me my refilled had already been called in and that it would be ready in a couple of hours. Click hung up. I went in four hours later and it's not ready. This is only one of many instances where their lines are long, where counter staff are abrupt, where shelves are disorganized, where the floor is dirty, where the bathroom has no toilet paper, when staff walk around talking about going on a break, eating snacks and shuffling around. The parking lot is a snarl. I've given them plenty of times to redeem themselves to little avail (I will say there are a few staff members who go above and beyond, but they're rarely on shift). I think what makes this place exceptional is the customer service. Deborah is so responsive to text messages and will send over photos of items based on inquiry. The kindest thing is how out of her way she went to ensure I had a very sentimental gift for my partner for Christmas. I bought a frame with a little quote on it back in March for my boyfriend which ended up getting lost in our move. It was a very special thing for us because of the saying and I was gutted when it came up missing. I texted Deborah and asked if she had any and she went out of her way to go to the store (it's closed for the holidays), pick up the last frame for me and print a new sign for inside of the frame based on our last one. Guys, this little frame is $15 so I doubt it's about the monetary gain here. I'm in tears at the thought of someone doing something so special for another person.
