The one she recommended is the one I ended getting. I usually only go to this location because they take the time to take me down an aisle to point things out. I love the deals they have here and the rewards I get because I have a Sally's Credit card. The location is clean and organized. I get to the register and I was asking questions about a product because I wasn't familiar with using it then he asked for my number I gave it to him and then he asked for my ID. I never get ID at the Montclair store and that's my homebase store which I love going to, but since I was in Rancho, I figured I stopped at the Rancho store you just made me feel like if I was trying to lie about having a membership with them and I actually have a credit card with CosmoProf. I just felt very uncomfortable and I won't be going to this store anymore.

A moment later, she asked for my phone number for checkout, which I provided promptly to keep things moving. While checking out, I noticed the box of bobby pins I had grabbed was slightly ripped. I asked if I could exchange it, but she didn't respond. I went to exchange it myself, brought both boxes to the register, and explained that one was damaged so it could be set aside. Again, she gave no acknowledgment and continued without a word. I completely understand wanting to close on time, but the way she handled the interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. If customer service isn't something someone enjoys, it might not be the right role for them. I'll be avoiding this location in the future. Everything about the space makes the products feel a little more serious in a good way, like skincare that actually means business. Every product I've tried has been great quality and has done exactly what it promised, which builds a lot of trust over time.
