I booked a haircut appointment for 5:45pm today, and the experience ended up being very unprofessional. I scheduled this appointment on Monday morning at 6am through Ulta's online portal, so there was plenty of time for the salon to review their bookings. This afternoon, I received a call from Linda, who said she was the assistant to Fabiola (the Elite stylist). She told me I needed to move my appointment to 4pm or reschedule because they were "busy with a hair color." She also mentioned that they usually adjust the schedule days in advance, but claimed their booking system didn't show the appointments until today. That explanation didn't make sense, especially since I booked days ahead. When I asked why I wasn't notified earlier--if they supposedly review schedules in advance--she didn't have an answer. Being contacted last‑minute to move an appointment by less than an hour felt like my time wasn't valued. I expected more professionalism from an Ulta salon, especially when booking with an Elite stylist. This experience left me disappointed and hesitant to book here again. read more

My oldest and I enjoy shopping here on occasion and we always make this our first stop on Black Friday. They have a rewards program as well to help you save a little extra money. They have a decent sale for Black Friday, but we didn't necessarily want or need what was offered. We did stock up on some of our favorites, some necessities, and I grabbed some fun little items for stocking stuffers. They weren't extremely busy when we first arrived, but it did pick up while we were there. The parking lot is also a little bit easier to navigate with how they've repositioned the Chick-Fil-A drive thru lines. Several staff members helped us or offered to help us while we were there and they were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the products. read more

Instead of having employees follow you and watch you like a hawk making customers feel uncomfortable hire security theft to do that. Shopping here is not fun and it should be. You'll see all those details when it's exchanged up front. Shopping here wanting to take my time and search up reviews online on my own is so uncomfortable because they swear they know what's best for you. These people work in sales. Of course they're going to tell me it's good or upsell me. Please leave customers alone and train them to not make people uncomfortable. I went to Ulta to buy a few items and I was walking around the store for a few minutes and no one came up to me to ask if I needed help I had to go up to one of the cashiers to ask where a certain perfume was as I waited in the perfume aisle for 10 minutes and nobody came over. Why offer curbside pick up if you NEVER bother to check if anyone is waiting to be serviced? The email you get for an online order is all about curbside pick-up, "click on the way, select parking spot, tell us your vehicle etc" it literally prompts you to use curbside. However when you get there and actually utilize it... you're sitting there forEVER. Normally I have zero issues going inside to pick up my order, but when I have a broken foot... this option benefits greatly. I am only writing this review because the last 2 times I've used curbside THE SAME THING happened yet I shrugged it off because I thought maybe you guys were busy and I was able and ok to get out of my car to retrieve my order inside. Five stars for my experience with the stylist Tijeraz. Unfortunately, management at the store is the reason for my 1 star review. I was in on Sunday for a haircut. Left the store and was initially satisfied until the next morning when I got to take a closer look. My hair was cut shorter on one side and completely uneven. I had to leave town for 4 days so I had to wait until I got back to try and get my hair fixed. I made an appointment with Tijeraz for 10am which is when the store opened. I walked in and asked to speak to a manager and explained the situation. She said the full service salon in the back would take care of me and I said great I made an appointment with Tijeraz. Tijeraz sees my hair and is shocked at how badly it was cut by another stylist at this location. She provided her full service cut and fixed up my hair beautifully. I am very happy with her work and how she was able to salvage my haircut. She is extremely talented! Big thanks to her. I go up to the register with Tijeraz and she explains the situation. The cashier calls over a manager and I am immediately met with a combative attitude. "Well did you speak to a manager before you came in? Did you complain right after the cut? Did you have an appointment?" Yes I spoke to the manager when I walked in. I couldn't come in sooner because I was out of town for four days with the bad haircut and yes I made an appointment with a different stylist because there's no way I was going to let the one who gave me a bad cut touch my hair again! The manager stated, a fix would have been accommodated with the original stylist and usually offer 20% off the service. 1. Why would I want that person to cut my hair again and 2. Why should I have to pay for the fix?? This doesn't make sense at all. I believe a full refund should have been issued and my services today should have been complimentary not including the tip I provided the new stylist. I was happy to tip the stylist but was very upset I had to pay for a new service. I have escalated this issue to corporate and have included photos of the haircut for proof. read more

I stopped going to this location because the Chik-Fil-A line is in the way of getting into the driveway and also takes up half of the parking lot or I'd select store pick-up and most times this location wouldn't have what I needed but today I tried to use my points towards a purchase and the cashier (an older lady with red hair) told me it's not accepting my points towards the product I was trying to buy (Belif toner). It didn't feel right. I walked away after I made my purchase, but then I looked at my app and it said, "You have 28 points expiring in 30 days" and it even said I had a current value of $3 (I had 161 points total). Then I read the words, "You can use your points on any products or services at Ulta Beauty." I immediately went back to the register and asked her to please refund this and try applying my points again. I gave her my phone number and magically it worked (the first time I had her scan my membership barcode on my app) and I ended up getting $12 off instead of $3. Moral of the story, your points can be applied to ANYTHING in the store so don't let them tell you it doesn't apply or it's not working towards the product you're trying to buy. Also, I prefer the Upland or Chino Ulta's but this location was closest at the time so I went here, but never again. read more

Mayra the "elite stylist" is one of the worst stylists. Any inspo pic I show her she says is either fake, filtered or my hair is too damaged or she doesn't have time. One appointment she charged me for a full head of highlights but she actually only did a partial. My ticket was almost 400 dollars and I left with very few highlights. One time she charged me with multiple color service which is 130 when she only put a solid color on my hair(70 dollar service). She constantly adds treatment services that I dnt approve which makes my ticket much more expensive. This last time I asked to get to a level 8/9(was a level 7/8) and she said no girl your hair can't do that. She said it's not healthy enough which is weird because my hair is in pretty decent condition. Then she said well I dnt even have time, when I even came early for my appointment because she asked me to. I asked her why is she an expensive elite stylist if she is so limited in what she can do? I thanked her for saving me almost 400 dollars and left. Found a new stylist only spent 250 and my hair looks amazing. Do not go to Ulta for your hair, it's a rip off! read more

Went shopping today to help find make up for my mom. The staff here were sweet and so friendly and very professional. Cynthia greeted us and made us feel welcomed at the store. To me she shows great leadership skills and thanks her employees a job well done with customer service and that to me is admirable. She helped find us travel sized brushes that we needed and showed us all the deals on other travel sized products they had on store today. Suzy is such a sweetheart. She helped tried finding a matching shade of lipstick from the Anastasia brand the shade "Rose Brown" which that location were out of stock for. She helped by looking for a shade in through different brands and swatched them in her arm. So thankful for her for taking the time to try finding it for us. She has a great personality and attitude and has a great smile! Though we didn't find that shade in store we just decided to have it ordered online and shipped to us. And Sam the cashier with the beautiful purple hair. Her and the whole staff so sweet. Sam took care of our transactions and made sure to thank the rest of the customers for their patience while she was taking care of us and helped us payed our online order for the Anastasia lipstick through via gift card. She's very kind and patient to us and that means a lot. Overall happy with our experience. The team here made us feel welcomed and really care for us their customers. I called in advance to make an appointment for makeup for my daughter and I and was given the 11 and 12 spot however I did request any earlier time if available. They told me they would put in the request but the only one who could approve an earlier time was Jolene ( the makeup assistant) and that she would call me if she was able to take me sooner then the time given. The next day I received a call from Jolene and she let me know she was able to take me and my daughter at 9am and 10am. Perfect ! I was so thrilled because we had hair appointment also that day and we needed an early time slot for makeup. She confirmed times we exchanged instagrams so that I can view her work and I appreciated she called me for a sooner time. Two days later I received a call from Jolene and she asked me if I canceled my appointment because it showed that I canceled and remade my appointment time back to the original time which was 11 and 12. I was confused because I had no idea what she was talking about and explained I had hair appointments and was coming at the confirmed time (9am and 10am) she then explained to me that time slot was not taken and not available for me. Again I was confused how this happened. She said it could be a system error. I then asked her if she remembered calling me to confirm my 9am and 10 am slot just two days prior ? She said yes I remember. I then asked her if she updated the time on her end because I never received a text messages confirmation ? She then said I'm sorry that time is no longer available. I explained once again ! I couldn't rearrange my time because I already had hair appointments and was going to be in a wedding and it was too late to call around for another early time appointment. She was rude and said I'm sorry I don't know what to tell kinda laughing with her words. Which was upsetting to me. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor spoke to me for about 15 minutes explaining it must be a system error.... So I explained then why am I the one having to adjust my time when I was the one who made my appointment first ??? Jolene had mentioned she had a bride already doing a consultation and needed that time slot. I explained to the supervisor to make it right and please keep my confirmed time because I couldn't rearrange two hair and makeup appointments 3 days before the event... she finally agreed to the confirmed time. I was upset that I had to go through such confusion and had to fight for a time slot I made with their staff. I then didn't feel comfortable and went on my instagram to see if Jolene was following me because I felt uncomfortable with her and how she talked to me. I noticed she had blocked me on instagram.so I called the store back and asked if there was any other makeup girl that was available for that Saturday because I did not trust Jolene would do a fair and good work on the two of us. The supervisor explained she was the only one. I was upset over the whole situation and was confused why I was treated this way. I will never book or trust this location again. read more
