After trying dozens of…read moremethods throughout the years to clear up my skin and get rid of some hyperpigmentation and scarring, I came to Saving Face as a last resort. And thank god I did. The appointment began with a detailed consultation with Wendy, where she taught me about common skincare myths and misconceptions as well as a breakdown of products I use that may be upsetting my skin (pro tip - Cetaphil is not your friend!). After her assessment, she was better able to apply the necessary products customized just for me during my facial. And her personalized products are not to be missed! My skin responded so well to the gentle mix of her reasonably priced cleansers, serums and moisturizers and I can honestly say this is the best my skin has looked in years. It's so apparent how much Wendy cares about her clients and how determined she is to get you the results you're looking for. If smooth, clear vibrant skin are something you've been desperately searching for, look no further than Saving Face. Worth every penny.

I wasn't expecting much, especially since my dermatologist had told me that I was "already receiving the best skin care treatments" at her office. Wendy definitely proved her wrong. Right from the start, Wendy truly listened to my struggles with acne and she was very caring and empathic toward my situation since she has had her own skin battles in the past. She educated me on how to treat my acne problem with simple lifestyle and dietary changes. She also offered me personalized skin products that, although not cheap, are definitely affordable and less expensive than anything else I had received from dermatologists prescriptions. Within just a couple months, my skin was better than it had been since elementary school and it has only improved in the past two years with her products. Now, I barely break out and my skin has never been healthier. However, I cannot give this business 5 stars despite my incredible skin transformation. A little over a year ago, Wendy decided to hand off her older patients to a new esthetician so that she could accept more new clients. While her other estheticians are also highly trained and professional, I do not receive the same education and expertise as I did from Wendy. I would still recommend this place to anyone with stubborn acne troubles, but just be warned--if you make the decision to come here, you will be handed off as soon as your initial treatments are done and you no longer will be allowed to schedule an appointment with Wendy.

From the warm, kind welcome by the gentleman working here to being handed a beverage menu to choose from a big variety for free (soda, juice, water and even champagne) to then being shown a book of nails to choose polish, I was treated with kindness, hospitality and respect. I got gel for both nails and asked for them to be cut short and rounded, which they did. There was extra care taken with my legs as I'm disabled and sticking my feet up on the stand hurts if I can even do it at all. They adjusted and didn't make a face or comment about it besides it not being a big deal. The massage given for both the pedicure and the manicure was amazing. I paid for a paraffin wrap for my hands so the total was $100 for both plus tip. I think that's a great deal. There was a bit of misunderstanding due to Lee and an intern having English as a second language, but it was no big deal. I was giving Lee a compliment on her massage and she thought I was asking to change the nail color. Another gal working there thought a random man who came in an hour after me was somehow with me, and he was a total stranger so I don't know where that idea came from. Their website has the ability to book appointments online. They have a lot of services to choose from. When you come in, you can check-in on the tablet. They also take walk-ins.

The staff is nice and ambiance welcoming. However, my experience there was less than ideal. The concerns I had before seemed to be amplified by the new injections and there were additional problems that popped up where I didn't have any before (weird wrinkling in spots, arched eyebrow on one side, lump in between eyes that lasted a while (forgot to mention that one). When I brought these up at the two week follow up, she said that she could fix that by adding some more botox at no charge. I really did appreciate it but decided against it as I couldn't fathom bruising like that again. I will let it wear off and see if I want to proceed somewhere else. Gentle reminder to always do your research, follow up after appointment and get a consult...as I did, but still. Though I am indifferent in my recommendation of her, I personally won't be returning. I was so bummed.

That part is impressive and honestly what's kept me coming back over the years. But charging $25 for a sample that's completely free at almost every other luxury fragrance counter is diabolical. I've shopped at boutiques across the country, and I've never been charged for a tester-sized sample. EVER. It feels unnecessary and greedy and lacks customer loyalty/appreciation and integrity in my humble opinion and I'm sure it destroys customer retention. The part that really stings though is how far the customer service has fallen. I've been coming here for years, and it used to feel like family....the old team was warm, knowledgeable, and made every visit personal. Now it's just...basic. You walk in, and it's a "take it or leave it" vibe. No connection, no care. Maybe it's a post-COVID shift or the change in ownership, but whatever it is, the charm is gone. I ended up going to Nordstrom afterward, got exactly what I needed (see picture of Nordstrom experience attached-EVERYTHING in the photo was from one visit to Nordstrom with 1 purchase) and walked out with 20+ free samples of scents I actually wanted to try, along with many more thrown in by my rep. And yes... they were free. The selection is still nice, but the pricing and service don't match the luxury they're trying to sell anymore.
