Alot of the people that work at this location are rude/unhelpful. They have this look on their face when you walk in that makes you not even wanna ask questions or talk to them. And then you do talk to them and what do you know! They have the nastiest attitude EVER. will 100% be avoiding this location next time I need something. The first time I have ever felt genuinely unwelcome in a public space. read more

I had a great experience at Sally Beauty. The employees were very friendly and had amazing customer service. They really take the time to help you find what you need and give honest opinions about which products are actually worth buying. I appreciated how helpful and welcoming they were. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

The customer service is ass. They act like they know what they're talking about and they don't. I asked for a specific toner. They handed me the complete opposite of what I asked for not even the same brand then on another occasion I ask for a bonnet one that ties specifically she told me they don't have any. Here's this other option. I take it I get home. It's a fucking tying bonnet. Which is cool it's what I wanted, but don't tell me it's something that it's not. This has happened every time the blue haired person with angel bites or whatever piercing they have on their top lip has helped me. Let's talk about the person who checked me out the one with black hair and a green halo I asked them if they were open and they looked at me like I was fucking stupid and was like "yeah" in the most fucking bitchy Regina George Voice I've ever heard!! Not worth the time and I hate to post karenesc reviews but also it's time yall get new staff read more

Every time I go in here the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. If there is something specific you are looking for, you can count on them to help you find it. They are also great at making recommendations on products as well! I will continue to shop here for my beauty supply needs! read more

Came here on a Thursday at 10:30 and the person running the store at that time was super helpful and very kind . She was smiling and greeted me when I walked I. With my very energetic son. She even acknowledged him and that made him happy as well. She directed me to the products I asked for and all the thing I would need to add some highlights to my hair . My hair turned out perfect with her instruction . Great store during this time and will definitely go back . read more

Do yourself a favor and cancel ANY online order you have. Made an order and it cancelled the next day. Checked my banking and everything was ok. They sent me an email cancelling my order that was in stock. No explanation. No one working the phones. Only crazy hold music and a recording, "You will be on hold momentarily. We look forward to helping you." I've was on hold for 38 minutes and still no one picked up. When I shared the experience with an actual barber, "I know. It's horrible." Walking in the store for years, I've never had a problem. Online? Never again. read more

Went in for one thing. Desiree was busy on the phone. yet was able to help me and take care of business. Great job.

I started coming to this Sally's over two years ago because it's right next to my place. I kind of dreaded it because the manager at the time SUCKED. Fast forward to more recently... The employees here are EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Just ask them for help and they will guide you. The current manager always remembers me when I come in and is super down to earth. What more could you ask for in a company? I actually was in just yesterday and recognized commenter Fran B. at the register being rude to the employees about someone outside (15 feet away from the building) smoking. She was RUDE. The employees handled it like pros and Fran was unappreciative, rude and left. Good job handling a hard situation Sally's employees, nothing you could do at that point but still handled things gracefully. read more

Went in to purchase my daily products, and haircolor. The website said store pick-up available. So I made my order. Went to pick up with more than enough time passing. Nothing was done. The 2 girls were just gossiping the whole time I was searching for things up and down the isles. No assistance and they did not honor the pricing of my order. They didn't even bother to check if they could assist on refunding my in store pick up order. read more

I've been a customer of Sally Beauty Supply for more than 15 years. They have a good selection of professional products, and a license is not required to purchase (unlike other businesses such as CosmoProf). If you're a licensed professional or a student, you'll get special pricing here. There is also a rewards card for a modest annual fee and this will entitle customers to special pricing as well. The staff is friendly and helpful and happy to answer questions. Whatever your salon needs are, you'll probably find it at Sally Beauty Supply! read more

Sally Beauty - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Olympia, Washington

This store has excellent customer service. Each employee does everything possible to ensure you leave satisfied. Also, they are very knowledgeable on all of the products they sell. I would recommend this store to anyone looking purchase hair, skin or nail products. They have a wide selection of various nail polish brands and supplies for nail care. read more

The manager was very rude and sat on her phone in the back with another girl while one girl helped 3 different customers at one time. I won't be back to this location read more

Sally stores have the worst customer service I know. The ladies working there know nothing about their products. When I tried asking them which trimmers they recommend or if they know anything about them, they looked at each other and told me that they don't know, trying to avoid other questions. I asked them about some other items in the store and I got the same respond with an attitude of "don't bother me anymore". The time I was there, one lady was in her phone the whole time. She would mingle some words to me when I asked her, then go back to her phone. They didn't forget to tell me though that the clippers and trimmers are all final sale and can be returned only in case they don't work. I picked up Andis trimmers, coming home to find out that they make a weird noise and skip hair. I only tried them. My cheap $20 trimmers work much better after 3 years of use that these $70 trimmers. I tried returning them, but they told me that there is nothing they can do for me, not even for even exchange or store credit - NOTHING. I called customer service and I got the same response because they told me that they have been used and can't be put back on the shelf. I mean, what kind of customer service if you can't take a loss. It's not my fault they sell scrap. How would I know if that item works or how it work. You should have some kind of guarantee behind every item you sell. This is actually not my only time I experienced this. Every time I go in there asking them about their products, they know NOTHING. No wonder why no a lot of people go there. I hope somebody will open soon a Beauty supply store that would actually care about their customers. read more

Horrible service. Horrible service. Horrible service. Drop the snob attitudes ladies. Its an ugly shade on you.

I've been going here for the last year as a professional this staff is always genuine, knowledgeable and helpful!

This is the best place to go ever. Marsha helped me so much by going above and beyond and my hair is perfect!!! she hand wrote out directions, helped me with everything and I am just so happy. This is a great store and great service and I am so pleased!! read more

I just went in there the other day to find a hair treatment for my hair since I just bleached it. My hair is not very long maybe a little past my ears . My hair was sort of dry a little here and there but the only way you'd be able to tell is if you felt it . I went in asking for her to point out to me where I could find something that could help and instead I got terrible customer service. This woman told me my hair was so bad I should just consider chopping off my hair. EXCUSE ME? She repeatedly stated how "dead, fried, so bad my hair looks" now even if this was a true statement (which it isn't at all) that was extremely unprofessional and rude of her to talk to a customer like that. All the other employees there have been sooooo helpful AND the stuff they sell is wonderful . I Just hope no one runs into the beezy brunette on her bad hair day like I did !! read more

Nice selection of natural hair care products. The clerk was super helpful but very busy stocking. Also, my discount card had expired. The clerk offered to renew and even asked was I military. Awesome service! read more

This Sally's really IS better than the one in Lakewood! It seems less cramped and more organized. The sales associates are so on point and very friendly, offering assistance when needed or stepping back when necessary. I would definitely go to this one! read more

To the person who complained about .25 bags, that's a rule in our county not a rule in this store... SMH! Judging a store on law they have to abide by, shame on you Haha this is a Sally's beauty supply, it's gonna have what you go there for. Always a good idea to call first though! read more

I love coming to this Sallys, all the ladies that work here with the exception of one person are amazing! I have been frequently going in to try and fix my hair. I went from red to blonde and ended in a nightmare. They have been very helpful from the start and supportive. (It's traumatizing when you fry your hair and it goes weird colors) Now my hair is happy and healthy and looks great thanks to the ladies advice and support. I do my friends hair as well and come back to get all the stuff. Love this place! read more

I rarely shop at this store, but the few times I have I experienced customer service less than pleasant. I don't know what it is about the few young ladies I encountered but they each appeared to be extremely annoyed and borderline straight rude. I will be shopping at the west side Sally Beauty from this point forward in hopes of better customer service and supplies actually in stock. read more

will never shop here again.... 25 cent for a bag....... wtf!! with 10 bottles iof crap..... dropping all way to the vehicle.... this store deserves a close out situation.... similar to other places that have gone bankrupt..... read more

If these girls who work here would just be honest about their knowledge of hair color, instead of pretending to know something they don't I would be happier. When I went to color my hair a few months ago, I wanted to go a little darker with a hint of red. This gal advised that I mix a couple of colors 2-1. Well, my dark blonde hair came out almost BLACK with a more than a hint of red. I spent a week stripping it and it took a couple of months before it lightened to where i wanted it. So This time, I knew what I was going to do, (basically to get the color I had while covering up the grey) but another gal told me my hair looked like I had had it done professionally and if i wanted to keep the color to use this one color she handed me. Well, now i look like a carrot top! I will NEVER ask any of these girls advise, nor willI accept it unsolicited. I know there is at least 1 girl in there who knows what she is doing but I can't remember who she is, so won't take any more chances. If you want to color your hair, ask a professional BEFORE you go into this store and buy what you want. Prices are ok. Nothing to rave about, that's for sure! Sydney, I don't know what you are talking about! everyone else in our county only charges .05 a bag! So if Fran was charge .25, she was ripped off! read more

I had to go to Sallys twice in two days because the gal at the Centralia one sold me the way wrong color extensions after reassuring me they were not too dark. I went in to get hair dye because I did not want to waste the 140$ I spent on the extensions, and it looked ridiculous without dyeing it. I casually mentioned what happened to one of the sales associates and the manager overheard. She was super helpful and polite. She hooked me up with the hair color and gave me a percentage off to correct the mistake that was not even done by her store. The color was still a little too light but that is besides the point. I am happy to know that there are people with good customer service still out there. I will only go to this Sallys now even though the one located in Centralia is much closer for me. However, as an overall Sallys remark, I would go with your gut when shopping there, often the sales associates are incorrect, in my experience anyways. I still love Sallys. read more
