I was able to go through my insurance with Pomona Valley Medical Center and blue shield trip and it was such a smooth and quick process for me getting approval. I had 2 consultations with Dr. Wali, the first in late April and the second June 19th where he said I was ready to proceed with the procedure. I originally was not ready the first consultation because I had just stopped breastfeeding my son and he wanted to make sure I was completely dried up. Dr. Wali was amazing at explaining every detail the entire process. I was then contacted by his wonderful front office staff with a surgery date a lot quicker than I expected. His front office staff were absolutely incredible. Day of my surgery and upon Dr. Wali's arrival he explained every detail of the surgery to my husband and I and made sure we understood everything. I could not have ask for a better experience as my first major surgery not only was Dr. Wali amazing before my surgery but also after, he provides a number to contact him after surgery with any questions and I never once had to wait long for him to respond. He was always prompt with his responses and answered all questions and concerns that I had always making me feel at peace. Overall, I am so happy with my experience with Dr. Wali and his entire office, Diana and the front office ladies were a joy to work with and my results came out amazing. I was a G cup before surgery and now I am looking to be around a C/D. My lift is also such a blessing because I had 2 babies and nursed them both. They assured me that the product was good and offered a good price so I left the store confident and happy as I had many times prior unfortunately, when I got home that evening, I realized that the wax was incredibly inferior. It did not melt down properly. It was grainy And had all the indications of being an inferior and old product. it should be noted that this product was sold to me as final sale. The owners did not provide a reason for final sale but now I know it's likely because the product is inferior and the owner is aware of this and is selling it anyways to recoup their cost I called this morning disgruntled and wanting some sort of accommodation. This wax flaked off my skin and irritated it so severely that bumps formed in minutes. When I called to express my distain, the owners took no responsibility and only offered an exchange which would require me to drive an hour round-trip. I asked the owner if there was anything they could do to further accommodate this incredible inconvenience as this was a product meant to be used Saturday evening, but due to it Unstable nature, I could not Sunday they are closed and Monday I worked during their open hours. The owner argued with me and laughed at my audacity to ask for additional compensation for this inconvenience. I asked if my business was not important to them and mentioned that they would be losing my business. They did not seem to care very much. I'm a huge purveyor of supporting small and local businesses, but not when it feels like my money and patronage are not being valued. As much as I hate Amazon, I would have never had to deal with such inconvenience and poor customer service and lack of accountability from that company so it seems the business I have given Mike a beauty for nine years will now be transferred over to Amazon or Bobo's beauty supply in Montclair, which has consistently offered top-tier customer service, Selection, quality, care, fair pricing and so much more. Good riddance to Mica. I appreciate them but this experience left an awful taste.
