Knowledgeable about all the latest skincare, she takes the time to thoroughly check and evaluate your skin and explain what she sees and how to best treat it, including holistic methods if that's an interest for you. A few years ago, it was clear I had bad interactions with different ingredients in products, but we didn't know which they what. Theresa uses a special system of skin testing that comes from Canada and will give you not only what you're reacting to, but gives you lists of current products on the market that contain it. When I moved back to DC, my excellent dermatologist there had never heard of this testing program and wanted to purchase it herself. I'm now living in New England and as family is local here, I figured why not come back to Theresa versus try my luck with another? Her front desk staff is super warm and friendly and fit me in quickly. Her new office is super cute and there's even a fresh juice bar inside. Her esthetician does consults for different services, including makeup using the highest quality products. I recently just got my hair cut with a partial highlight at the Ulta in Dewitt. We made our…read moreappointment two weeks prior and was very excited to get it done. When we arrived, we learned that the lady we booked was not the lady that was going to do my hair. She apparently called in sick but never informed us prior to the appointment. We were skeptical at first because I have light brown curly hair that has never been damaged. The new hairdresser aggressively informed us that she would be able to do my hair so we got started. My appointment started at 4:30 and I didn't leave until 9:30. The experience was horrible. The lady ended up having no clue what she was doing and had to get help from another girl that wasn't even a hairdresser there to finish the job. They even told us that getting help from other employers is illegal! She then told us that this was her first time doing highlights and touching curly hair. I couldn't get up and leave because I had about 10 foils in my hair already. The color does not look blended and my hair turned out white because she kept the foil in for 3 hours. She was very slow and inexperienced. By the time the foils were taken out, my hair was falling out. I went home with wet and unstyled hair because the store closed and the hairdresser needed more than 5 hours to do a partial highlight and cut. I do NOT recommend anyone to get their hair done at the Ulta in Dewitt. It is very unorganized and a terrible hair salon for all hair types. This experience not only destroyed my confidence but also destroyed my hair.
