So, I asked again for a refund since it is not reasonable for me to fly there and then have a cancellation and try to deal with flight delays. They agreed to send me a check and I gave them my address. That was over 2 months ago. I never received the refund check. I have called VIO three times since then and left a message for the manager with the receptionist and once on the machine. They DO NOT CALL ME BACK. I've been nothing but patient and kind and I don't appreciate being lied to. This is incredibly expensive procedure I do to minimize my melasma. But, it has to be done correctly. VIO is the only time I have had this done incorrectly and I have had MoXI at least 15 times at other places. You need to call me back and send the refund check. This is your last chance or I have to leave reviews like this and make a better business bureau complaint. Your choice. Do the right thing, Please return my call and send the check that was promised to me.

I returned for a second appointment which was scheduled for a laser treatment on my neck and chest for sun spots. I did not want to pay an additional $750 for another treatment until I saw rests on my face. The laser treatment provided absolutely no improvement of the sun spots. Dr. Kooken stated she would touch up the spots if I proceeded with the laser treatment on my neck and chest. Dr. Kooken asked me how my recovery went. I told her there was no recovery. I did not experience any redness, swelling, or discomfort as discussed at the appointment. Dr. Kooken said that is very unusual. I am thinking the laser was set too low to provide any benefits. I also spoke with Maria, the practice manager, requesting a refund. I was told, "the bottom line is we are not refunding you".
