I came here wanting some fall /winter colors for my lips and this is closet location for me. Every time I come here that are always out of everything. The sales girl helped me find the shade I wanted in a different brand but I don't know if I'm completely sold yet. The reason I love sephora is they have an amazing return policy. Just a heads if your coming to this location. Down town Disney now charges for parking. If you spend $20 or more in any retail shop you get 2 hours free. So make sure you take your parking voucher with you!! read more

I love Sephora! This Sephora chain is great, because it is large, it's located in Downtown Disney, and the make up artists are awesome. I went in a few weeks ago with my sister and had some questions on makeup. Emma, the make up artist I spoke with answered all my questions on how to moisturize my dry skin, and also helped me and my sis find a powder that would work with our skin. She also got us a bunch of samples to try. If you are looking for make up, and the parks are over crowded, I would come here to walk around. By far my favorite Sephora. And why wouldn't it be? It's in Downtown Disney! I've been to other Sephoras and this one has the friendliest employees. They're always so helpful and answer all your questions. They're quite knowledgeable of the products so I like to ask for suggestions from them. I believe me and my boyfriend have been there so many times that the manager knows us :) The store is a standard size with lots of products. When it's busy, it can be hard to maneuver around the store since there isn't that much walking room to begin with. Popular or new products will sell out fast, but they get shipments on Tuesday and Thursday (I found this out from when they had the Disney princess collections). I've been to this specific Sephora for a few years but it seems that the customer service gets worse every time. Just went on Monday evening and asked to get color matched after doing so the young lady didn't bother helping me locate the product, my daughter also asked to get color matched and with an ugly face she did it and told my daughter to look for the products on the screen and left! I drove out to Downtown Disney from Irvine for an hour to resolve a receipt mistake that was made earlier this week when I went to this same Sephora. They had charged me for the same lipstick twice as opposed to the lipstick and concealer I had bought. I went back thinking the price difference might be significant. I arrive, explain my situation, and get charged for the proper items only to be told I OWED THEM another $2 due to the price difference. Worst Sephora i have ever been to! Came in looking for foundation and the guy was with a customer. Finished with her and didnt even look my way, say hi or anything. I was standing there for 5min trying to figure out what shade to get and he just said "oh this one goes here" and made me move out of his way. Very unprofessional. No customer service whatsoever. Forgot his name but he was a male chubby, sassy guy. The only guy there on 9/23/17 around noon. Very disappointed. The least this Sephora location can do is train those employees to at least say hi or ask if you need assistance. Cashier was friendly. Greeter at the door was nice but every employee working that day were just walking around doing nothing. Never going back there again. Tax is higher there too. Approached the door with no line and no on inside the store. They lady said just wait till people come out which was fine. Then 2 seconds later says ok you guys are good to go in but what are you guys looking for? We respond just looking she says yeah but what all rude with attitude. Like many people, I love Sephora! I made an appointment on Friday to get my make up done for my engagement photos at Disneyland. I walked in and I was greeted by multiple employees. I was early but they accommodated me and made me feel welcomed. My make up artist was Krystal, and I LOVED HER!! She listened to all of my wants and needs. Although I love dramatic make up, I just didn't think it would be fitting for me so I asked for a more neutral look. Krystal did a great job at walking me through the steps, and stopping every now and then for some confirmation. I loved that she started everything lightly so if I wanted more of a smokey eye or more coverage I was able to add. When we were done, I didn't feel like a new person, I felt like my normal self, only more confident! She knew how to work with my face and skin and how to accentuate my features. We had something to talk about the entire time!! I know it sounds super cliche but I seriously felt like I made a new friend!! I wish I could fly her up to the Bay for my wedding because she was amazing! I usually become so overwhelmed and intimidated in cosmetic stores, but like I said, the staff was wonderful! read more

The most annoying Sephora to visit. It's almost always packed up the ass every time I come here, and kids are often dragged in here by their parents while at Disneyland - recipe for a headache. This location also has one of the smallest selection of products in all the Sephoras I've been to, which is surprising since it's located in Downtown Disney, a prime spot to reel in tourist money. Absolutely the best Sephora I have been to, and I have been to a ton!! We have disney passes and so we frequent this store every time we come to Disneyland and have always received the greatest service from the people working here. Last night, I hope I got her name right, Kendra with long black curly hair, helped us and she was beyond amazing & patient with me, my son and my daughter helping us all pick out items and testing our skin & colors! I'm a cast member myself so I tend to go here before or after work, but every other time I'm in here I always get terrible service. Even on days when it isn't busy, some of the workers still have all the attitude in the world. I was just in here the other day and the look on their faces when I asked for help made it seem like it was such a drag when there was literally 5 people in the store. When I did get help, it was from a lady who looked like she could care less about what I had to say and didn't even smile at all while she was servicing me. I asked her about skincare and she kept talking over me and not even listening to what I was asking about. Not only that, in the middle of me talking she'd walk away and immediately, "Well I think this product is good.." and didn't even give me any eye contact. I needed help finding the perfect foundation color for me and she was actually helping someone so she told me to continue doing what I was doing and she'd come find me and she did just that! As a regular Sephora customer in San Diego, I figured I'd receive just as good service here. Unfortunately, I thought wrong. I was here about 2 and a half weeks ago, after leaving Disneyland. It was near closing time, but I figured i'd stop in and grab a new powder since I knew i'd be quick. I was quite happy to see that everything was fully stocked, they weren't out of anything! Their store was clean and definitely not packed. Here is where everything goes bad... I approached one of the girls, didn't catch her name, asian girl with short/medium length hair, ombre stuff going on. No one welcomed me when I walked in nor asked if I needed help. She was the only employee nearest to me, and was absolutely rude and very unhelpful. I initially approached her and asked her if she can check my recent purchases to give me the exact color I needed since I had purchased one only a couple months ago. She rolled her eyes and immediately started to rush me. "Well what color did you buy?", obviously I didn't quite remember or I wouldn't have asked her to look it up. She begins trying to rush me, and is typing everything in on the computer rather harshly. I guess she either gave up or didn't want to do her job because she stops another employee and asks her to finish everything because she wanted to "LEAVE". Are you kidding me? All the other employees were getting off at the same time, yet they were helping their last customer and yet she couldn't do a simple task and transaction? Anyways, she takes off and this new employee starts helping me. I had my purchase in my hands within a few minutes. I do not understand what was so difficult about this that the first girl had to not only be rude but just abruptly leave. After everything, the rushing, the attitude, the "I WANT TO LEAVE", I walk to the door with my boyfriend and there she is, with the rest of the employees waiting to leave. What the heck was all that for if you were going to leave at the same exact time as everyone else you work with??? If you're from out of town and you're passing through Downtown Disney, don't even bother stopping here. Go to your local Sephora. (And if for some reason you just can;t wait and you come in here, beware of the 5 foot asian girl with ombre hair. SEPHORA IS THE BEST! They have a wide selection of makeups, with samples outside for you to try on before you buy. Their staff is helpful and an amazing group of people! Don't hesitate to ask for help if you're not sure what you want - example, you want to look like that one girl you saw on myspace with flawless looking makeup but don't know how to replicate it LOL. Their return policy is off the hook! You can return any item, any time, used, opened, broke, damaged- you name it!!! Their return policy rivals that of Nordstrom's. I loveeeeee Sephora! And the rest of them have either been neutral because nobody really took care of me but he couldn't have anyone ignore me. Or they just been terrible and this time I was overcharged when I checked out and I didn't realize it until later and by the time I think we did out it wasn't worth driving back to the Sephora to get the money I was overcharged. I Purchased an urban decay lipstick that was on sale for 850 I was charged the full price. I suggest if you use this location one to try to come when they're not busy which is almost never answer to to check your receipt before you leave. read more

A surprisingly pleasant first time experience at Sephora. Initially walking in it can be a little overwhelming and claustrophobic but it dissipates rather quickly. Visited to get my Color IQ tested and sample some merchandise. Spoke with the skin care specialist who quickly paged the Color IQ cast member and was greeted within minutes. Was serviced by a beautiful woman named Jeanette who was very kind, gentle, and informative throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain my results, various foundation options, and sampled several products for the perfect match. Even went to the extent of explaining the application process: primers, concealers, foundations, finishers, etc. (Because apparently my bare faced disheveled appearance seemed to scream "inexperience" yet I've had years of it in the past, lol). Never felt rushed, never felt pushed to buy, and quite honestly never felt out of place nor inferior in comparison to all made up ladies around me. Very pleasant experience minus the crowds & parking that comes with DD. read more

I love this Sephora location!!! I want to emphasize on the "large collections" here considering that this store is hugggge. This location sells more products from a series of lines than the Sephora that I usually frequent at Los Cerritos Center. Moreover, this location offers great customer service and the staff are very attentive to your needs. This location has a large collection of Bobbi Brown products (my favorite line). I recently became a fan of its foundations ($47 - a large selection of varying colors too!), because it feels light and doesn't look caked on like other foundations I have tried. It also has a large selection of YSL lipsticks of about 20 different colors! YSL lipsticks ($34) have pretty colors, but if you want a firm and moisturizing lipstick, I suggest you go for the Sephora brand - it is much cheaper ($12) and applies on so much better than YSL lipsticks (YSL has a greasy and overly moisturized texture to it). This location also sells a good collection of Sephora branded brushes! I love collecting make-up brushes and Sephora has some pretty neat brushes. (Ironically, you should steer clear from the "all-over-face make-up brush #40" - this brush sheds more than your neighbor's cat!). Last, but not least, one of my favorite reasons about coming to this location (Downtown Disney) is wearing my Minnie Mouse ears and not getting weird looks about it lol :) read more

On my 2nd visit I waked in and knew exactly what I was going to purchase but then I was approached by Princess and she asked if I needed help. I shared with her what I was looking for and she made my whole experience even better. Princess was suggesting items that would help with my skin and is very knowledgeable and built great rapport with me. Located in Downtown Disney. Nice to have a full service store like this to shop at while vacationing at Disneyland. You can find your essentials incase you left anything at home. I don't recommend coming here on a Weekend nights to browse & test products. This place was packed with locals & tourists. You barely can move. Overall the staff was still friendly and managed to answer some questions regarding some of their products. I've been here on other days and the place was not packed and managed some browsing time. If you ask sometime they will give you free testing samples to try out before you buy the larger product. read more
