OMG, the Prices !!! Yikes! $12.49 for a Chorizo and egg burrito $6.69 for "Cinnamon Treats" If you like this place, you better stop by soon as they won't last with these prices!

Shrimp Burrito
Christina P.

Came here around 3pm for "lunch" with my dad. We both ordered the shrimp burritos which come with white sauce, rice, shrimp and pico. I asked them to add lettuce and beans to mine. They just added beans but the lettuce/tomato which came with was good. The salsa bar options were mostly hot salsas so I went for the mild salsa which was pretty decent. The shrimp was well cooked and had good flavor. Chips were okay but nothing special. Each burrito was about $12 so a little pricey but given it had shrimp I was happy overall. Wish there had been more in the burrito - lettuce or tomatoes or even guac, but overall quite tasty. I asked for mine without the white sauce and they accommodated. Good place! Food came out quite fast although since both our shrimp burritos had different adjustments it would've been nice for there to be a label or something. My dad and I originally guessed incorrectly and had taken each others burritos

The service is quick and there is generally a decent amount of food for the price you are paying. There is also a sauce bar by the drinks that is really nice. The food overall was not that great. The staff was extremely kind but didn't seem to know much about their menu or what is in the food. We asked a couple times what was in plates and they had no idea. Sometimes you get what you pay for!!

This is what possibly gave us food poisoning

I am in literal tears right now, due to stomach pains. I absolutely loved this place, but boy did they do us wrong tonight. We went through the drive thru and ordered two shrimp cocktails (that's how much we normally like it), a surf and turf burrito and a kids meal with three horchatas. The horchatas tasted like tap water sprinkled with cinnamon, with a really odd lingering after taste. I excused it at first because I thought to myself, maybe it's towards the end of the night and it got watered down. *shrugs* My surf and turf burrito wasn't it's usual size tonight. It was also over stuffed with rice and not very much protein at all. The steak wasn't even warm when I bit into it either. I ended up only eating maybe 1/3 of it. The shrimp cocktail.. Was so off putting we threw both out after a few bites! Wait, sorry I lied, we ate the avocado out of it too then threw it out! The shrimp was small, OLD, dried, overcooked, and tasted almost like freezer burned. It's normally nice medium sized plump and juicy shrimp. Tonight they were literally so gross that when I squeezed one, the indentation stayed. Also, while I was playing with the shrimp one had fallen onto the ground and my dog picked it up and spat it back out then rolled over it. Which was quite odd because she's like a garbage can and eats everything, even her own poop sometimes. Gross. Anyways, now a few hours later my spouse and I both have really bad stomach problems... so please if you are reading this and you had any shrimp at this location today please message me, so I know I'm not alone. Oh, our son's kid meal tasted good and he doesn't have any stomach issues... so we know it's from either the shrimp cocktail or the burrito which also contained shrimp. I took a video of the shrimp but apparently Yelp does not allow videos anymore.

Plenty of patio seating

Raised their prices alittle to high for me to be a regular. I used to be but that's over. I do like what they have though.

What kind of deals on the taco Tuesdays?

What ARE the taco Tuesday specials?

Do they do Taco Tuesday specials? 🌮

Yes they do

What time do they open for breakfast?? Why aren't the hours posted. That would be helpful. I love the food- only been here at lunch or dinner.

Hi Susan. I agree, hours should be posted on Yelp. It appears as though management of all Señor Tacos are a bit lackadaisical -their website is is not operational & they have not claimed their pages here on Yelp - nonetheless, they are a successful… Read more

Authentic Mexican food sounded perfect and I knew good things were in store when I arrived at 11:30am on a Friday and all of inside and outside tables were full. The inside is quaint but has quite a few tables. They also have tables out front in the shade (to call it patio seating may be a stretch, just simple tables and chairs on the exterior of the entrance). You order your food at the counter and I didn't study the menu ahead of time but the ladies taking my order were patient with me. I ordered a shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Nothing fancy for my first time as it's hard to golf on a full stomach! I found the only open table and then hit up the salsa bar. They have 4 or 5 different salsas/hot sauces and a few other goodies. I got a small cup of each sauce and all of them were quite good. My food was colorful, flavorful and just the right away to give me some energy without being lethargic. I could go on about a few other nice things but it seems most of East Mesa already knows about this place given the high scores on Yelp from a lot of reviewers. Nothing to prevent me from giving a 5* review at this time. I look forward to trying some more dishes in the future.

There was a line when we got there but the food came so fast a little after we got a table. They have drive thru too. Ambiance was great. Seats are limited and they have outdoor options. They played Mexican music which adds to the authenticity. Saw reviews that parking is limited but we got lucky, they're were still a few open spots when we came. I'm posting this review for two reasons - The first being because the manager passed the restaurant phone over to the supposed "owner" after I called within five minutes of getting home to tell them the chips and taco shells tasted like they were fried in old, rancid oil. The manager told me she could offer a credit and when I said I would prefer the refund to my card is when she went to get the "owner". I'm fairly sure I wasn't an asshole to her. I was pretty peeved at this point because we're talking about almost $16 of the $49.11 which was the cost of the food I ordered before tax and tip. I work in the service industry/for tips too so I get it. I'm well aware of the price increase of everything everywhere!!! Before going to Ritos I waited in a line of 10 cars at Sam's Club for gas and gas was $49.65. So there's that. The "owner" also reiterated that a refund would only be given if I brought the food back. I'm sorry, but, I live 15 minutes away from Mesa Riverview. My employer was 30 minutes from the restaurant. I sure as f*ck wasn't going to get my ass back in my car and drive back to Ritos to give them shitty tacos and chips. They told me they would offer a credit for next time for chips and 2 tacos - and I guess that's acceptable but my question is - how are you going to provide that when you don't have my number or an email address for me? And aren't chips typically complimentary at a Mexican food restaurant when you dine in? The manager had the audacity to say that the oil was changed, the chips and tacos are cooked in different vats, the cost of meat has gone up and "everyone is feeling it." That's quite the level of audacity. I'm to the point where I don't give a about your credit and if I want Ritos I'll drive even more out of my way to the Garfield or 7th Street location. I'm more pissed off about the "owner's" attitude than I am about the $2.55 chips I threw in the trash. And the taco shells didn't taste too rancid drowning the inside in salsa. My mother was in her bedroom in the back of the house (I was in the kitchen) and just told me she could hear the owner yelling at me and what a sh*tty way to do business. Keep your credit, I won't be back to your locatiom to dine in OR take food to go. PS - Change your raunchy ass oil. As you said, consumers pay *way too much* to get home with a To Go order to have to throw it away because oil isn't changed frequently enough.
