I worked with Johnathan for the initial estimate and he was kind, thorough, and supported me through every phase of the repair. The pricing was reasonable and the crew did a good job. They even found dry rot that needed repairing, which we would have not known, had it not been for their attention to detail. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the repair, but after speaking with Alex directly, another crew was sent the following business day to correct the issue. I would highly recommend working with the business based on their affordability, timely repair, and excellent customer service.

I called to get an estimate and was assisted by Alejandro. He scheduled a date that worked best for me to come out for an estimate. On the day of the appointment, Alejandro kept me informed on when he was arriving. Once he arrived, he asked all the questions and started the necessary inspections. He inspected every inch of the roof and even used a drone to help. He itemized everything that needed to be addressed and broke them down into sections with estimates listed next to them. Based on the inspections, he identified there was moss present that needed removal, few shingles were damanged, gutters were detached, etc. He took many before photos of what he identified that needed to be addressed. He went through each item with me very thoroughly. I decided to hire them on the spot. He said his crew can come out the next day. They require a 10% deposit. On the day of the project, his crew showed up promptly. They got straight to work. The project took around 4.5 hours long to finish. After they were done, they sent me the after photos with the invoice. The roof looks brand new after the cleaning. I am so glad I found them on Yelp. They are easy to work with and professional in all areas. I will highly recommend them to family and friends.

My AC Drier was cracked and inoperable since last year. In this region of the Sacramento Valley and Placer County, 916 Auto quote beat 5 shops I contacted in the region and 1 shop even told me it's not worth it and I should get a new car. Bet if my car was a 69 Camaro, they'd do it. Why? Cause its a Classic Camaro. No matter the condition. Some shops don't want to work on Imports. But oh well. Their loss, not mine. I contacted 916 Auto and spoke to Samson to schedule an appointment and he said to come by that very same day. And so I drove from Roseville to Gold River that morning. Samson is honest & to the point. When he pulled my car in, he noticed a coolant leak. Now I didn't notice any leaks in my driveway, as it would seem the Coolant is evaporating or dissipating, but he notice it was getting on my Alternator, by the stains. It turns out, my OEM water pump (factory part since 2003 for this model year in 2004) finally gave out at 262K miles. Who'd ever think a Mazda/Ford part would last this long. This was an unexpected thought as I only had budgeted for the quote. So I called my CFO (Wife) and let her know of the issue. She said get it fixed and she'll adjust other expenses as she knows I need AC for the upcoming summer temps. So I authorized Samson to proceed with the entire job. Now I can't couldn't do any price comparison, but he did give me a discount which still fit in my overall budget. I spent my whole day in their lobby. They have updated their lobby to make it feel more comfortable and less Auto Shop feel. I notice the many people who drop by to have their car service are all happy and are returning customers. From a Dealership oil drain plug that was torqued too tight, to oil changes, brakes, and even a customer who was a bit upset where the Dealership sent the wrong part twice. The Dealership. I spoke to many of them and they all had the same answer when I ask. "What made you come here?" They replied, "Their price can't be beat!". In summary, my AC is now working as it should. Now I only used my AC for 2 whole days It gets cold and it has been awhile since I have felt cold in my aging car of 22 years. With my new water pump installed as well, my car is running smoother overall. Smoother shifts, heater gets warm fast. Almost, now almost like it was in 2004. So, Did I find a new shop for my Project Commuter Car? Yes I sure did. They have gotten a new customer. Up next is my Transmission Gasket & plug. One thing at a time! He inspected them and showed me how each one was clean, dry, and completely fine. He then inspected the rest of the engine compartment and the undercarriage and showed me that it was all in great shape. Finally, he noticed that a previous mechanic had removed the plastic shroud for my front wheel wells and failed to install new clips to secure the shroud afterward. I had wondered about the gap he noticed for years, but I didn't realize it was anything other than wear and tear. He replaced the clips for no extra charge. I know it seems like a small thing, but to me, it speaks clearly to Roland's character: I believe he genuinely cares about doing right by his customers and taking good care of their cars. When I asked him about some issues with electronic parts on my car (e.g. a digital dashboard display), he let me know that his area of focus was mechanical service and advised me to take my car to an electrical auto shop. I was grateful that he knew the limits of his expertise, communicated them clearly, and stuck to them. I felt his quoted price was quite reasonable, and even after he performed more work than requested (still within about a 1-hour time slot), he stuck to his original price quote. I am very happy with the service he provided and the price I paid! I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

He spent 40 minutes prying at different parts and trying to forcefully remove my fuse box to get to the 100A fusible link that I had to tell him was located beneath and the assembly had to be unbolted to get to it from underneath. After 40 minutes of painfully watching him attempt to force things open. I politely asked him to stop as it was obvious he didn't know what he was doing and broke a few components off my housing. I tried calling him to let him know of the damages. He denied responsibility and said he was only at my house for 5 minutes. He told me to never contact him again and failed to respond to the before and after photos I sent. Do not trust this shady business. What went from a lb easy replacement of a 100A that I could have done myself but did not have the time to do so, resulted in several hundred dollars of parts in addition to more for labor due to gross incompetence. DO NOT TRUST HIM!

I used Yelp to put a blanket request for the Sacramento area, and Stress Free Auto reached out right away! I was able to take my car in first thing the next morning and was greeted in such a friendly and warm way. Knowing they had a few jobs ahead of me, they called a niiiice Lyft and made sure I got home free of charge! From there the communication was excellent. There were continual texts that provided information about their progress not only with searching for the main problem, but also a general overall inspection of my vehicle. Once complete they sent me an estimate, I called to coordinate which things I wanted repaired/addressed, and they sent over a finalized quote that I signed immediately. It was quick, informative, and quite literally stress free The main problem was a cracked exhaust manifold. Seems like an extensive repair, right? Well, they let me know later that afternoon that they were done! Amazing same day service! Absolutely incredible. It's been a month since the repair and I haven't had any issues. So, in my book, that's a job well done! The only small gripe I have is the cost. Again, it was same day service, so it's understandable that I might have paid more than I would have at another local shop, but they did offer a discount on the initial inspection cost. Some other shops roll the inspection cost into the cost of repairs, but unfortunately Stress Free doesn't do that. Plus, a couple of suggested repairs were somewhat of a laughable cost. If memory serves, they quoted me around $60 to replace wipers. I'm not sure if it was a quote for all 3, or just one, but I spent $15 on a wiper on the way home and installed it myself. Whatever, they are trying to make money! Despite my small price gripe, I will be using Stress Free in the future for any vehicle concerns I have!

I was in a real need for a new roof.. i had lots of eave dry rot. I tried to refinance the house with cash out to pay for the roof. I ran into trouble because I had visible dry rot. I had several Quotes for a new roof. None of them gave estimates on the likely cost to the repair. All of their cost was for new shingles and removal of the old. Any repairs would be billed as additional cost. Semper's Agent came out inspected the entire roof looked at all the damage and gave us an estimate for repair as well as a new roof. They also worked with one of their lenders and got us Financed. So up front Customer service was great. When the work crews came. They came on time. Kept us informed on what they were getting done. They worked hard and efficiently. They were well skilled in what they were doing. The yard was cleaner when they were finished with the project than when they started. Meet and with Adrian Jimenez who gave a no pressure great presentation and we decided to go with them. Other companies were not as good as Semper Solaris presentation. Our next door neighbor had their install before ours and had problems with there activation. We purchased the system with battery backup and this was completed as scheduled. The crew were great and knowledgeable and completed the install within the prescribed time. The lead rep Joshua was very professional and worked hard to insure that the install was done correctly and on time as promised. I have a new Tesla Powerwall system and 9 new roof mounted panels. A tough project in the sense that the construction scoping and design was integrated into a fire restoration project. I selected Spartan because they went the extra mile. I had outdated 16" skylights and Spartan contacted the skylight company and set up special replacements. They also were on time for meetings, had great communications about the process and did what they promised without trying to upsell me. They used quality product and did a super job with repairs around my chimney. To top it off, they were in and out in 3 days and cleaned up every day. They were not the cheapest of the bids I received, but they certainly were worth the quality and peace of mind that I got. Thanks Spartan!

I had a solar expansion project through them that resulted in two tiles being broken during the initial survey inspection. Instead of covering it up they went and made sure I was aware, asked if they could come back in an hour to get supplies and fix it. Held true to their promise and the job felt pretty much on autopilot from there. They also built our roof too and initial install. Any questions and concerns have been answered with prompt and thorough explanations. Money well spent and even the planning felt like they had my best interest in mind in terms of cost and build out. It turned out to be a software issue, and they stuck with it every step of the way--slowly bringing the battery back with a trickle charge, updating the system, and reprovisioning it multiple times until everything was running like it should. What really matters is that they're one of the very few companies in Northern California that will even take on SunPower systems these days. With so many providers stepping away after the company's collapse, it's a huge relief to find a team that's willing and able to help. They were quick to respond, easy to work with, and their pricing felt completely reasonable for the amount of effort involved. I'd absolutely call them again if I needed service.

That means that the planning and design for my solar system was near perfect.
