I love Pilates Heartcore…read more I've been to five classes so far - two private, one virtual, and two group - and have been led by five different instructors. Each class was wonderful, as was each instructor. I'm new to Pilates - before Heartcore I had only gone to/done two studio classes fifteen years ago + a few YouTube (mat) Pilates videos over the years - so I was very nervous starting out. Each instructor made me feel welcome and very supported. In addition, when I first started taking classes, I spoke with Katie, the owner of the studio, over email many times (to schedule classes), and she was so helpful and very quick to respond. The studio itself is spacious and very clean (including the bathrooms). Also, Heartcore has no "surprises" - something I very much appreciate; all policies are posted on their website, so everything that prospective + current students need to know is there. People may need to set reminders for themselves about things - an upcoming class they registered for, the need to bring grippy socks to class (which they do sell in the studio), when to cancel your registration to a class if you won't be able to make it, etc. - but that is to be expected at almost every establishment/business. I've been a member here for just about a month, and I don't foresee myself ending my membership anytime soon (barring a faraway move or something). I look forward to each class, and I'm so excited to keep going. I love this studio!

I've taken Reformer Flow 1, Control 1.5, and recently booked a few Reformer Flow 1.5 classes. I like that CP has classes throughout the day, seven days a week so there's lots of options if you're flexible. They also offers Reformer Flow 2 and 2.5 if you're more advanced. Compared to the Midtown location, CP - Sacramento is more spacious and I like that there's mirrors on both walls to check your form. Classes are engaging, and I like that I'm able to challenge myself here. The only downside is that classes can be competitive to book, so I plan my schedule a month in advance once my credits become available. While there are waitlists, it's very impacted given the amount of interest. Parking is shared, but not impossible to find. I'm loving my membership, but wish there were more Reformer Flow 1.5 classes in the evening.

I've been going here since June and it's perfect for my busy schedule. I love hot Pilates and yoga…read morebut can never make the time to go to classes at studios. The fact that I can take a class at any time is extremely convenient. You book your class through the app and it does show you if someone else is already booked. Three people can fit into each sauna so you could potentially get the sauna to yourself. I think most people don't book if they see someone is already in a sauna. I've always been by myself which is nice. The place is always super clean. I've never had any sound, light or heat issues with any of the saunas. The small free weight area is always clean and organized. The place isn't always staffed but when it is the workers have always been really friendly. It's $79 a month for me but my membership only allows me to workout at this location. I didn't opt into the other one because this is the most convenient for me. Overall this place has what I need and I'll continue to go here for my workouts!

I was expecting my account to be cancelled as the owner seemed like a good person. Fast forward 10 months I happened to see a charge for the full amount. I looked at my bank statement and he NEVER CANCELLED my account. I called and left him a message and he didn't and wouldn't respond, but had his associate call me which had no idea as to what was going on. Then to make matters worse she stated I can cancel your account. I haven't been working out there since I believe March of last year. Honestly, I was expecting the owner to call me back and I still have yet to get a call back. Be careful if you cancel your service. Make sure to check!

Pro's: -Clean, modern facility -friendly, encouraging instructors that call you by name and privately fix your form if it needs correction -They have evening and weekend classes for those that work during the weekdays Cons (and this is a major con): The price. No other Yelpers mention how much it costs. But, it is very expensive. Monthly unlimited access is $179 (last month was $143), once a week class is $79, a single class is $30 (their rival, The Dailey Method only charges $25). I get unlimited access at my local gym (pool, weight room, cardio room, and all group fitness classes) at only $49 per month. Also, the baldheaded gentleman by the name of Mel. I think he is the manager or owner of this studio is really pushy and tries to get new members to start paying the $143 monthly fee (now $179) right after the first free class. It made me feel really taken aback, shocked, and uncomfortable. I thought I would other potential new members who want to take the first free class or let Kristen, the owner of this studio know, so that she can talk to Mel and ask him to tone down his pushyness because it could turn away or turn off potential new clients. I know it did for me. Luckily, my local YMCA did tell me they are going to start offering evening Barre Classes so I don't have to spend absurd amounts of money on a membership here.

I challenged myself to do everything Terri T was showing us and I've never sweated so much in my life! DECOR: Outside the yoga room door was a waiting area that was a little different than the rest of the gym. Darker and cozier. The room itself was beautiful. Medium tone wooden floors with one mirrored wall, a hot and cool side of the room, and a warm cream colored curtain with warm white lights streaking intermittently downward. It was majestic! PRICE: The traditional cost of a membership which is around $40 a month DRINKS: We had fruit infused water which was refreshing. FOOD: There was fruit and crackers and chips and protein popcorn which was actually pretty good. STAFF: The check-in staff was great. Kind, friendly, and efficient. Teri, the Yoga instructor, was awesome! I loved her pace and rhythm. I was a nice workout. EXPERIENCE: From the moment I stepped in, I was treated like family. The welcome staff got us checked in easily and once the first class was finished, we would be admitted. The funny thing about this event is that the posting didn't say what type of yoga so I assumed it would be Vinyasa, but the class that went before mine was doing body sculpt yoga and it looks super intense. Then I found out that we were doing a vinyasa flow, but it was hot. Which is not a problem for me. I just like to know so I can prepare with the right attire. our class wasn't too bad. The other class came out looking like bad been locked inside the steam room for two days. LOL

I was dealing with a lot of lower back and leg pain from an accident about a year and a half prior to meeting her and was getting super anxious about returning to my level of activity pre-accident and just simply getting out of a depression that the accident had thrown me into. Samantha listened to my story and tailored a plan to slowly ramp up my strength, agility and flexibility. After four weeks of hard work (gonna give myself five stars for my own effort), my socks were rocked. I was back on the softball field. I was closer to pain-free as I had been in a long time, and it's because Samantha listens, she pushes you to your own goals, she celebrates those goals and creates new ones for you along the way so you never stop wanting to do better for yourself. I worked with her for probably five months and really appreaciated her motivation and support. I'm returning again, from a year+ long haiatus and am looking forward to getting my socks rocked some more. I just started back up yesterday and I'm sore as sh*t as I'm writing this, but I can't wait to get back and get some more a$$kickery done to me.
