Upon moving to Sioux Falls South Dakota, I was making a bank transaction when I noticed how awful…read moremy fingernails looked. I asked my transaction specialist if she could direct me to a near-by nail salon. As a result, I was referred to Angel Nails located at 2720 W. 12th Street #300, Sioux Falls SD. I was immediately greeted by two smiling ladies after stepping through the small foyer. "Hello, how can I help you?" the older female asked. I just moved to Sioux Falls and my nails are a mess after packing so many moving boxes. "What do you normally get done to your nails?" Because I work-out in the gym and swim; my nails break easily. Therefore, my Maryland Nail Tech usually apply gel and shellac to my nails which prevents breakage, I replied. At that time, my nails were done by a younger nail tech, who did a pretty good job. The next time, my feet and nails were done by the older lady, who turned out to be the owner of the business; she did an excellent job. I discovered the owner was a perfectionist and knowledgeable of both feet and hands. Also, she quickly shared information to me and other customers on how-to maintain healthy feet and hands. As well as, how-to care for specific feet problems. I found the owner to be honest, compassionate and loyal to her customers. She exhibits hospitality that's beyond nail and pedicure salons, I have visited in Maryland and other States as an inspector. Further, I find her prices to be reasonable; often less than competing nail and pedicure salons. Recently I asked the owner, "Why do you have two televisions and neither one is on?" When I had technicians, they spent more time watching television, videos and talking to each other in their native tongue rather than talking to customers, so I had the cable disconnected. I believe paying customers should have your full attention, and technicians should interact with whoever is setting in the chair across from him/her. "Wow, what a wonderful concept/rule?" I replied. If you are looking for a new or replacement Nail and Pedicure Salon, you might want to give Angel Nails a try.

Our hair was fine but our makeup, we looked like we should have been laying in a casket and they were trying to cover up Rigamortus. This is not an exaggeration at all. Even the men that I showed our pictures too could not believe how awful it looked. I unfortunately could not tell Ali in person your makeup artistry sucked and sent a message and let them know of my dissatisfaction and that we had to redo our makeup. Before Ali did my makeup I was VERY clear about how natural and light I wanted it and so did my daughters. We even showed inspiration pics She is correct I did leave $60 as she did give 3 of us a service and we were not unsatisfied with our hair. That is $20 a person. However if I would have loved our makeup the tip would have been that much bigger!!! In their message they were trying to create that I am a difficult client or person which I am not difficult at all. Again I gave this "professional " a very generous tip according to them Also they were not happy I didn't say anything to Ali before we left however # 1 we had to be at the church by 130 and still had to finish getting ready and dressed and It was 12 when we left. # 2 it would have not changed the outcome as we were all VERY CLEAR what we wanted. I am sharing our messages in photos and if anyone would like to see the makeup Pics they did vs me redoing mine please DM me. I tried to respond but they blocked me before I could continue the conversation on Facebook.
