My daughter and I both went for dip on our fingers and shellac on our toes. I went to the bathroom when I first got there, and there was a man sleeping on the floor of a super messy room across from the bathroom. They also had a dog running around (which was cute but not sure legal according to the state of SD's rules and regulations). None of that bothered me as much as the horrible job they did on our nails. We went December 29th, and my dip is already lifting and my shellac pedi is chipped off. My daughter had three different people work on her fingernails alone. She asked for sparkle French, so basically just the tips of her nails sparkly and they said they couldn't do it. We paid almost $200, and that's the most I've paid anywhere for these services. If the work was good I wouldn't have complained. read more

Wasn't worth it for a sub par 32 minute pedi. I booked a pedi appointment for 5:30. I got there at 5:26. I made sure to let them know I had an appointment. About 10-15 minutes later they put me in a pedi chair to soak while I waited. I sat there and soaked until 6:17! Over 30 minutes. It started to get very uncomfortable but it would have felt rude to abort after waiting so long. I finally left at 6:59. They didn't make any mention at all that it could possibly be a while. read more

Fabulous! Originally from SF but now a resident of NY, I'm always surprised at how fast things pop up here. Looked at the last place I got my nails done but they were full. Found Simply on Google with good reviews. I needed a mani/pedi and fortunately it was a weekday so they were able to take me right away. Tam was amazing! She is very talented and you can tell she really enjoys what she does. We had a lovely conversation too, she's so sweet! Prices are reasonable. I just spent 58.00 on shellac acrylic nails.. they didnt have dip.. so he put acrylic over my nails.. and then shellac on top. I dont have fake nails like no tip.. and my hands are so very dry.. i have hangnails everywhere and i honestly am just dissapointed. I felt rushed since a wedding party was coming in. It was to much money in my opinion for not getting fake nails, or lotion even on my hands. He only trimmed and painted them.. and it costs 58.00!?? read more

i wouldn't get my nails done anywhere else! they're prices are very reasonable and they do a really great job satisfying their customers. i've never left disappointed. they don't pressure you into getting expensive options, and get you in and out very quickly while still doing a tremendous job. they are so sweet and have great attitudes. one time i broke my pinkie nail and drove right over to simply to get it fixed they fixed it under 10 minutes and didn't charge me anything to get it fixed, i was so grateful! i don't have prices memorized but i know a full set is $28 and a fill is $18 most places are almost $40 for full and $25-30 for a fill. it is extra for shape and gel but not much. shape is only $5 and i think gel is $15 but i'm not entirely sure. read more

I don't go anywhere else for acrylic! Always give me what I want and don't pester me about more expensive options. My regular nail polish never chips, and my nails last me 4 weeks without breaking. They don't do too much extra, they rarely lotion my hands, but I always leave happy. I don't mind waiting either because it does really get busy because everyone knows that's where to go. Dave is the best at acrylics so if you can schedule with him. Monday's are the best days to go I think. They do any nail shape, but coffin costs about 5 dollars extra, and matte costs 3 dollars. I've never spent 40 dollars on a full set. read more

Can I put a zero? Oh my goodness, I thought the reviews might of been exaggerated on the bad side, but they weren't! Do not go here. I've had tons of pedicures all over and this was a joke. I could if had my 3 year old grandson do a better job than this!!! I'm usually quiet and don't say much on pedicure, but when he barely scrubbed heel & sides where there is rough skin, I felt my feet and it's as if he did nothing. I said it's pretty rough yet. He said it will be $10 more. Then he felt them & scrubbed a bit more with pumice. They were still rough, I wasn't looking for perfection AT ALL, just get some dry skin off please! I said it's still there. He looked at me and said, (get ready for this. It's God's honest truth). He said "we'll, maybe you should get a pedicure more often!" It wasn't in a friendly voice either! I said, I didn't come in here to be told what to do, especially in a rude wAy! He ignored me for remainder of time, I finally took my feet out from dryer and noticed polish did not even cover my toe nails, and there was dirt on edge! Ugh. At the checkout counter I said is the paint supposed to cover the entire nail? He said why? I showed him. He said I suppose you want to discount. I said that isn't why I came in here, I came in here for a nice pedicure. So he told me the total and didn't give me the discount he asked me about. I was very upset and shaking trying to get the change out, I said so you're not going to fix them with the paint, and you're not going to get a discount I don't think I should have to pay this full amt. He said "I'll pay your sixty five cents!" This place out to be turned in somewhere. If you want to be abused, come have an experience like I did. Ugh. So sad & disappointed!! PS-wait was about 30 minutes and they only had 3 people getting a mani or pedi. Pedicure was a speedy, non-detailed 17 minutes. That speaks volumes without even writing a review. I apologize to those who wrote their negative experiences here, & I didn't fully believe them. It was close to where I was at, & thought it would be ok. Bummer I had to come back and share more....they did one clear pre coat, one coat color, one top coat. I've never had a salon do that few, so I'm praying it will stay on. My toenails keep polish on great. They had to remove polish I've had on for months today, that's what quality work was done in another city!! With the edges and tops not fully covered in polish done by Simply Nails, I'm not going to hold my breath that it's going to last. Ugh! read more

Their work is always satisfactory and they make sure you are satisfied with their work as well. This family business does good work so they are busy but the wait is worth it and you can always make appointments. They also are flexible when it comes to conversing. If you want to talk with they would love to but if you want to just relax they can also let you do that. read more

I called in they told me to come in at 11:40 or 12 so I came in around 11:40 and just waited it's already 12:20 still haven't got helped so Finaly they sat me I waited for another 30 minets to get someone to come up to me Finaly they clipped and shaved my nails and I got told to "wait" while he went to help another customer which is fine whatver so then I sit here that customer leaves another one comes in they start setting her up right away like exuse me I've been sitting here for almost 2 hours !!!!!! My sister, cousin, and I walked in on a Monday around 1pm for three pedis. I first noticed how spacious the salon was and I loved that! We all sat down in our chairs and got comfortable. A lady sat down and started on me first. She didn't say hello or anything. She rushed through the steps and swatted my legs to tell me she wanted them back in the water. I was so disappointed in her work as the entire pedi was maybe 15 minutes. About five minutes into my pedi my sister's guy walked out of the back room wearing a shirt and sweatpants and looked incredibly grumpy and unhappy. He sat down and didn't say a word to my sister. Once again, it was a very fast pedi with poor service. After another ten minutes another man came and started on our cousin. He was very nice and treated her very well! It was her first pedi and she enjoyed it so much. She said her massage was fantastic. As we were all sitting, a few ladies walked in at different times. Not one of them were acknowledged until they had to ask how long it would be and what service they wanted. All three staff members answered the guests shortly and sounded annoyed. It was very awkward as we felt bad for the ladies who were walking in. If we would have had the same experience in the beginning, we would have walked out and went somewhere else. It could be that the workers were stressed since there were only three of them in the salon and there were more than a few people waiting to get in, I'm not sure. It was probably the worst experience I've had at a nail place and I really don't think I'd ever go back to that location again. I understand people having bad days, but your customers help keep the doors open and should be treated well. read more

I'm very pleased with the service and pedicure I got here. The chairs are awesome and massage your back . It took a long time to be done but I was ok with that. As soon as a place was available they sat us in a chair. I didn't care that it took a while to for them to get to me and my friend because the water was warm and chairs where comfortable. Went to get my eyebrows waxed and after waiting 30 minutes and no acknowledgment on how much longer it would be, I finally walked out. Someone walked in after me and was helped immediately. This was our second visit to the salon. Our first was good, and we decided to come back. This time my Mom's pedicure was messy, and her tech kept on rudely speaking to me about her, instead of addressing her directly. Two children were zipping around inside the salon on skates. I went in today for my first visit at this salon and they did a very good job at my mani and pedi! The only bad thing I am gonna say is the wait before anyone took notice and greeted me and the wait to get into a chair to get started. Went with my daughter to Simply Nails. This is my third time that I have been to this location. First time was good, awesome mani/pedi, great leg massage by very young male technician. On the second time, I was a walk in for mani/pedi. The male nail technician was not friendly and rapid, mediocre work was done for my pedi. Put me under the drying lights...I sat there for half hour waiting for someone to return to me to do my mani...no one came. I paid and left, without my mani! ONLY reason I gave a third attempt was because my friend gave me a gift certificate. My daughter and I both received rushed pedicures and less than impressive shellac manicures. We will not be back. Place "looks" nice, but for the money, I know there are better places with friendlier and better service. Better places than this to spend money. read more
