When I tell you she was fast and detailed with my removal and full set, it's an understatement! She took the patience to fix my broken nails and start a new set while having me out of there in exactly one hour. I have never had a full set look so natural like this one! I have been going to rose nails since January and have had nothing but excellent experiences. The first time I went, I misheard my name and was set up with Tia (I was scheduled with someone else originally) but they accommodated me anyways and I ended up sticking with her from then on. She's always so sweet and I always look forward to seeing her every month. She puts 100% into her work and it definitely shows every time. I'm unfortunately moving away but always recommend this salon (and Tia specifically) when coworkers ask about my nails. I'm sad to be leaving but am thankful for such great experiences here! read more

2 months ago when I moved here, I had a five star experience today, however, was completely different. My nail tech seemed annoyed with me; which I noticed as I was leaving there was a sign on the door that said they were only taking appts only. Which is fine and if they told me that I would have went elsewhere, not a big deal. For starters I asked for a shorter nail but she kept telling me to keep it long and that she would take more off when she filed. Well that wasn't the case because she charged me $10 for the long length at the end. So I urge anyone to stand their ground on what they want bc it will cost you. Secondly I decided to just go with this white color as opposed to the ombre because when she showed me on the paper towel, the two ombre colors they weren't that great. She seemed like she had a problem with that so I stated we can just go with the ombré if it's a problem it's not a big deal, she stated that it's not a problem but then kept making comments. So Im just watching my video because I want to get out of there quickly as possible bc I was uncomfortable. Well the service was completed and then I see I get a charge for the shape of the nail as well; when the shape is different from the pic I showed. When I showed the pic and she said coffin; I thought that was the shape. So my advice is to go in with a game plan and ask for prices upfront and if you feel uncomfortable just try a different place; I'm new here so since my first experience was nice i decided to try them again. I also didn't like when I was paying she hovered over me to the point when I stopped entering my pin and said to her "you're going to watch me put in my pin"? And then she turned away. It was just very weird; it's almost because I asked why it was $90 she thought i wasn't going to pay. No I'm going to pay and then just go somewhere else next time and ask questions prior the service. This was my fault for being naive and scared to speak up but now I know for next time. I'll end up filing them down because I never get my nails this long but thought she would file them down more like she said She was kind enough to give me a paper towel for my nose because I have terrible allergies being in this new environment. read more

I had an appt. on 2 occasions. The first time, the "fill" separated the first week and then broke off. I gave them a second chance based on their ratings. They asked me to come in early, at 3:15pm, when my appt. was for 4:30pm. They made me wait 90 minutes and offered a beverage. When they finally got to me, without apology, I had a 2nd beverage. They never said there was an extra charge for it. They proceeded to do my fill again and left the nails completely uneven. I was charged $100 including the pedicure and then they charged me $5 more for the second beverage! The lady was rude and kept saying that I was moving, when in fact she was hurting me with her electric file. The experience was awful, and I am sure part of it was due to the fact that the woman didn't speak or understand English. I just moved here and have never had such a terrible experience before. read more

I have been to a large handful of nail salons in Sioux Falls and Rose Nails is my recent favorite. I started going here because it's close to my home but keep going back because it's very clean (I have found that most in SF are VERY dirty), and they do really great work! I get dip and it lasts me 3 or more weeks which is fab. But, only gets 3 stars from me because it is more expensive than any other nail salon I have personally been to and they don't offer any kind of deals/reward program for returning customers. I only go to Rose Nails, but always charged for takeoff of my dip every single time I go in for a new dip. Which is a bummer for a returning loyal customer. Aside from paying for a dip set, they also charge EXTRA to file your nails, which is wild to me. That's like going to a hair salon and then charging extra to wash your hair . It's just part of it? But again, they look very nice and are long lasting, you just have to pay the price! Last thing! They have TVs but only play these like weird videos of like baristas making drinks??? lol. All day, every day. They are oddly satisfying to watch for like 5 minutes, but then I get SO bored and suddenly become very aware of the clock and my appointment seems to take forever. I'm so antsy to get out of there and look at anything but a video of hands making a chocolate strawberry shake . I would love a little HGTV or literally anything to look at that makes time fly by. read more

I would post a picture if may nails would have been done! They were not I drove one hour to get there from. Irene SD! After making an appointment confirming an appointment! Waiting a extra 1/2 hour for this rude woman to finally finish just to have her take the rude women a her Daughter who were there 1/2 hour to early yes you can't make this stuff up. They were there a half hour too early. But I guess they're more important than I was you see because I suffer from chronic pain. I have osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and EDS and I drove an hour to get to my appointment to have me and my daughter have a nail day. But I was rudely talk to told that well she can't help me. She can't help it. She was an horrible horrible person. You tell me what kind of person does that the lady that's doing my daughters nails, get some all rigid chunk up looking nasty and the owner of the salon thing proceeds to kick her out with these nasty nails my daughter has liver failure, one infection will kill her and Rose kicked her out, so now my daughter has to find somebody to fix her nails can't change her babies diaper because she'll probably cut her baby with her nails. That's how sharp and rigid these nails are I would never ever recommend my dog to have their nails done or even my Bulls do have their nails done with this nasty woman, so everybody think again before you go see this woman because she was rude and she was very unprofessional as far as I see it so doesn't matter if you drive an hour or a few live a couple blocks away she doesn't care she just last like $300 and she'll lose more because I will make sure none of my friends go see her or none of my people from my business go see her.. let this be a warning. I hope everybody that reads this understands that I'm serious. I wish I had a picture of my daughters nails. There is a picture on Facebook Hailey Sterk look at how they let my daughter leave. I decided after a long time of not having my nails done I would get them done. I just moved here in December of last year and so I had no clue which salon to choose from. After looking online through photos and reviews, I found one that stood out to me, rose nails. I booked the appointment and it went in today. I walked in a the whole vibe was calming, the ladies immediately greeted me and I was in a chair quickly, choosing my colors. I was nervous to get my nails done, as previously I had walked out of salons disappointed with the results. This experience though has made me change my thoughts! Chloe did an excellent job and exceeded my expectations! My nails look so good, I walked out happy! I will definitely continue to treat myself with self care after my time here. Have never paid an added cost for having my nails shaped!. That's part of having a manicure!!! I was told First 2xs you pay the additional $5.50 for "nail shaping" after that it's free. No Thank You!!! The manicurist that did my nails was on her phone the whole time and rushed through the manicure. Had to have her refile a couple of my nails. I was getting my nails done at a different location and I wasn't completely happy, so I decided to check this place out and I am so very happy that I did. The ladies are friendly and professional. The salon is incredibly clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I am retired and had my first pedicure ever today and what an amazing experience.
